[X] Let your Random Event trigger on it's own - Random Event: A Call To Repent

Saving a life may mean increased business. Also I think that we can still manage a partnership or even a buyout; especially since we have production lines that are already up and running.

Subvote- Partnership or Takeover?
Now, it's time to vote for what exactly you're convincing Jack Low of. These are basic plans, though you may write in your own plan as well, or any add-ons. This is a Combined Speech Check (Hang Xin and Johnny O'Quinn Vs. "Sweet" Jack Low)

[] A Joint Partnership - Xin Industries and Low Down Robotics will enter into a Partnership. They will not interfere in each other's products or selling, and will work together on certain products. Unlike an Alliance, this is only between the two companies, not tying either of you to other partnerships the other would make. Chance of Success: Very Likely. It would mean less competition, and it wouldn't tie him to any other contracts.

[] A Strategic Alliance - Xin Industries and Low Down Robotics will enter into the beginnings of a Commonwealth-Wide Business Alliance. Each member of the Alliance may not infringe upon products of the others, though team-ups are allowed. The members of the Alliance may assist each other, and as a whole represent themselves as a Faction when dealing with others. The General Atomics Galleria will be considered Neutral Territory where any member of the Alliance may sell (Once Jack Low gets it online). Chance of Success: Likely. While more members of the Alliance might restrict him, the idea of a safe and profitable Commonwealth does appeal to him once everything is put to paper.

[] A Subsidiary - Xin Industries will own Low Down Robotics and all locations involved with it, but will allow Jack to run the business as a subsidiary company, provided he doesn't run it into the ground. Xin Industries would get a 20 percent cut of every robot sold, and would have a say in what is built, though would not micromanage Low Down Industries. Chance of Success: Not as easy, but possible. Jack will not like the loss of control, but he does realize you have more and better products. And he'd still own the company, which is a plus.

[] A Full Merger - Xin Industries will control Low Down Robotics fully, and will make all decisions based on it. Jack Low will become a regular employee. Chance of Success: Harder. You'd be asking Jack to give up his dream of owning an entertainment robot business, and giving everything up. But he may be convinced that you hold the winning hand.

[] Write-In

[X] A full merger, with Jack being designated the head of the entertainment division rather than just a standard employee. He'll only answer to Xin in regards to robot designs, and will receive an elevated salary to reflect his position.

[X] A Strategic Alliance

Hell, maybe it's early but I want to set something like this up. Something ambitious, and having some competition it good for business.

Well there are quite a few players already. Namely literally every single character that we could choose is active in this world, and there are quite a lot of rolls being done behind the scenes to figure things out.

A lot of rolls. Like holy shit how many dice am I throwing at a wall? Oh Atom, I can't hold all these D100s.

Also, I forgot to mention this earlier, but by 5-4 you've chose to save the Random Event for later! Congrats, someone gets to live!

[X] A Strategic Alliance

Super useful when the Brotherhood arrives in the future. when they decide we don't deserve to have the robots or w/e nonsense.

My only thought to add is maybe an extra writein to arrange joint research/projects.
Maybe setup a small storefront of the others products for advertising purposes.

[X] A Strategic Alliance

A useful setup to integrate other robotic focused characters and we can still control most of them if we secure the source of the resources necessary to build robots (Saugus Ironworks).

Vote Closed. Strategic Alliance is a go.
