IF the Feds are locally outnumbered... Sacking the base might be possible. And I say sack because we're, you know, behind enemy lines and will need to stay mobile in order to draw out our March From the Sea as if we get pinned we will drown in Federal soldiery.

[X] South East

Hopefully we can ambush or avoid whatever forces might be using the same roads as us.

Anything that we can't easily carry away, we should probably burn.

What I'm really hoping for is maps. Having an up to date map with train routes, highways, and (with luck) bases would be a huge boon.

Accurate intel is invaluable for us right now.

For us to actually survive this, we need to keep winning big. Sadly, caution doesn't seem to be the way to go anymore. A methodical approach would be too slow and time is not on our side.

Speed is life, speed is love more life.

Go, go, go, gotta go faster. Keep the troops occupied so they can't think about their situation. Keep the lower officers focused on tactical problems so they don't become overwhelmed thinking about the strategic situation.

Keep moving at reckless speed so local Federation forces and command units have no clue what the hell is happening.

We can't keep its up forever, but for the first 48 hours or so? Yes, yes we can get away with it. Then the adrenaline burns out, the troops start collapsing mid step dead asleep and over used parts on tanks start requiring immediate maintenance. (Tanks need constant maintenance)

So take our enemies supplies and weapons and make them ours.

We know the enemy, and ourself, but we do not know our friends, linking up with them may be less risky now but it actually might be putting us in a worse position in the long run.

We must push them into further retreat so we can regroup and then push them further into retreat keeping them.

Our best bet in my mind is not to wait but to strike, show force and resolve where we would otherwise be weak and vulnerable if we hesitated and gain as many supplies and advantages over our enemies as we can because we may outnumber them now but they will outnumber us later and we need to be in a good position for when that time comes.

If Imperial Intelligence is reliable, we outnumber them 3 to 1. Some of them should have broken through Federal defenses, even if it means it was only our forces that did so. I'm in agreement that we should exploit our breakthrough as fast as possible while everyone (including us) is still confused. It might be possible to detach Raeder's battalion or 1-2 of his companies to keep an eye on the Federals to the direct east as to not get taken to the rear by surprise, if we think that they are too far away to help us effectively to assault the base.

If Imperial Intelligence was horribly wrong, then we never stood a chance in the first place, risky option or not. Unless we keep getting miracles, but our luck will probably run out soon.

...I'm giving even odds that a Federal armored unit just redeployed into the base we're attacking. How much and how organized I couldn't say, but it seems like a likely thing given that it's been a day or two since they knew that an amphibious landing force was coming and the rumor mill.

I doubt they've managed to deploy that quickly, unless there is incredible rail infrastructure very nearby, and even then, it would have to be a reserve unit. No unit can disengage and move to a new area in a single day while also being completely battle ready.

Very well lets go big and hope intelligence isn't wrong.

Early vote count.
Edit: Actually it looks pretty unanimous. Vote locked.

No update in the next 12 hours, I'm pretty busy until then.

It's always wrong, even when it's right.

Doesn't mean i don't think he should go for it, though.
