I just want a magical boy protagonist, I think it'll be interesting to view the world through that lens. I think I probably prefer the Edward Elric expy plan the least, but I'll tactically vote for it anyways.

Also, I wonder if the next update will be THE MAGICIAN - I see that tarot theme in the threadmarks already.

That will depend on whether you get a Magical Girl or Kamen Rider.

Spot on with the tarot theme, though it will only show up when a. You're creating irrefutable parts of your character or b. The narrator from THE WORLD shows back up.

I feel like there should be at least one dark magical girl plan for propriety's sake. I'm thinking someone that has an outlet for the new disturbances in their life through art that's probably a lot less abstract than people assume. Perhaps throw in a desire to create a gallery based on other supers that may or may not have supernatural implications.

Now that I'm awake, I'd like to explain my plan a bit:
  • While I suspect personality is mostly there for narrative purpose, I believe that a Scheming Magical Girl is something that doesn't happen all that often, and would be an interesting experience. It would also be in a better position to combat Kaijin Riders (who are quite strong, but their bloodlust leaves them open to being outmaneuvered, at least according to archetype, something a schemer should be quite adept at doing) and maybe Dark Magical Girls as well (DMGs seem more composed than Kaijin Riders, which means that they can fight smarter than them; nevertheless, desperation to get the souls needed to keep themselves alive could still be something that could be leveraged again them). And a scheming, socially adept Magical Girl would lend itself nicely to a rivalry between her and a Kamen Rider counterpart, especially if said counterpart is a lot more straightforward and a believer of taking things head-on and fighting in a fair manner;
  • Provided the source I used to determine the name of the character is correct, then the surname is made of the characters kane ("gold, metal, money") and ko ("child"), while the name is from from the pairing of ake ("bright") and mi ("beautiful"). In her youth, Akemi could have been considered a "golden child", based on her intelligence and social savvy and she's still a bright person even as she's starting to age. Beauty is a more subjective matter, but I can be argued that she also fits that description
  • Regular Human was picked so I can use my points in the Hobby section, even though it could be argued that even with its downside, Enhanced Human is worth the 2 points it asks;
  • As for hobbies, Magic was a natural pick given I wanted the character to be of Magical Girl archetype. That leaves me with 2 points, which I used for Trivia (bonus to the Mental, which would likely be useful for a lot of things) and Socializing and Celebrities (bonus to Social, another stat with quite a few useful applications; and since I picked Magical Girl as archetype, it also works as buff to Physical when transformed).

Well, I suppose I explain my plan too then. My explanation is a lot more characterization leaning though.

My plan (Wise Man) is about a young adult male who's wise and simple. If the villains were to ever judge him via appearance. Then, they would see him as someone who's easy to fool. That is wrong. He's mature in a way that he doesn't want to help people because of glory and fame. Besides, even though he's a good person, that doesn't mean he's nice or soft.

One of the reasons he's interested in Magical Girls and Kamen Riders is because of how absurdly helpful they are. He can defend himself and others from harm. He can socialize with other people. But he knows that in the end, he's just a regular human being with friends. And that's okay. Sure, he can pick up on Glyphs, or learn more in general. But he knows that he's not good at everything and that's okay.

If only he could be like those people he admired. The power of love and justice to help those in need... But well, what he has now is enough and that's what matters.

I'm not very well versed in tokusatsu, so I don't really know how many female Kaijin Riders there are when I made my plan. I imagine its pretty rare, if there are any. Also, I kind of made her as a Sky Triker Ace - Roze expy.
