If she is then killing her would be a great help to my make an enemy of ALL the factions plan and if she isnt then yay more dead people. Dead people is dark right?
Do we want to take the risk of calling in fire support? On the one hand, it's always nice to have fire support, but on the other hand, I'm not sure that it's a good idea to risk a Butcher-possessed Puppy.
Then again, the Butcher might actually be a bit dangerous in close quarters combat. It's got increased strength, increased durability, danger sense, short-ranged teleportation, the ability to cause pain, the ability to cause rage, and depending on whether this is the same number as the one seen in the series, the ability to never miss with her guns within a short range.
Now, TBF the Butcher is only like a Brute 3 or something IIRC in canon when we see him.
At this point Butcher should be weaker all around than Butcher... 12 was it? Too lazy to check.
Anyway, TLDR if we land one solid punch on the Butcher, she should still explode into giblets. Cuz we're hitting her with full Ship Level Force.
Oh, there's no doubt that she'd pop like a, well, like a meat balloon if we manage to hit her, but the problem is hitting her when danger sense was Butcher 3 while explosive teleportation was Butcher 6.
Fair enough.
Means she'd teleport due to Puppy's targ... or would she? Might be she wouldn't be able to react fast enough to it.
Hmm might be a good idea to pull back instead, call for Puppy to Arty her, and if SHE CAN dodge that she'd most likely dodge into melee range with us meaning we'd get an Attack of Opportunity. Which should be all we need to win.
Probably.
I like this idea.Perhaps we could start by having the Puppy open fire on the rank-and-file while we move in? The fewer the Teeth and the flatter the landscape, the fewer the distractions once we are in close combat range. This way, even if we fail to splatter the Butcher, we'd still manage to shake her power base.
So far, so good. Not that she'd object to, say, wielding a surfboard sword with pointy bits, a chain sword, or something similarly cool.
Wow. Page twelve and we finally get a contribution of some sort! I'll have to remember how I was going to handle these...
Just keep in mind that cannon fire isn't a surgical tool and, oddly enough, Puppy may have an issue currently with aiming.Perhaps we could start by having the Puppy open fire on the rank-and-file while we move in? The fewer the Teeth and the flatter the landscape, the fewer the distractions once we are in close combat range. This way, even if we fail to splatter the Butcher, we'd still manage to shake her power base.
That had been worrying me a lot.It has been way too long since the update, and no-one has made a vote yet.
It tends to happen when you only give your players a write-in option. it's always best to give them something generic to go with, or some basic template to start from, as most players really don't like having to write out a totally unique idea for what to do as an action, especially when there's serious consequences for a poorly thought out plan for that vote.

If you were going over a (reasonably sized) paragraph for the main plan and more than a handful of additional lines/points then it'd probably be too much. Unless you really think that your protagonist is the sort to make up complicated plans on the fly and follow them through...?Yeah it's kinda hard to figure out what exactly you're looking for in a write-in. Cuz we can go from 'Huge Update size plans' to 'Hit em with a stick' stuff.
Um, I would try to answer questions on here about things like that if asked?
Voting will close on Tuesday (Tomorrow) at 20:00 GMT.
That leaves you people about a day to suggest vote or even alternatives plans.

I have started to notice that......Asking questions before writing our plans!? We don't have that kinda initiative here Merior!
