The question is not invalid.
That said, we may be silly, but we're not unintelligent (I think). We may assume the silly hoomans mistook us for the girl with the rather nice minigun, who is apparently called Butcher.
Not the best name, but what can you do?

To quibble is, unless I'm mistaken, to disagree especially about a small point.

(Without additions to the contrary "Quibble" will probably include the protagonist arguing that she can't do all three simultaneously. Or that she doesn't have a hostage, she has a minion called Puppy. Or that she isn't holding a hostage, just a gun.)

Not really. The protagonist might guess semi-randomly though.

There's no way this could end badly. I am only disappointed that we cannot also complain that the weapon seems a bit small in caliber. Really, it's not a proper gun until it's at least firing 40mm, and those are peashooters!

I don't see why the protagonist would know the lady we punchsploded was named Butcher. It makes more sense that this is a thing they labeled us than that they are assuming we are a totally different person. Anyways, rolling with the idea that we are a Butcher of Ships just seems more in keeping with the assumptions and speeches the protag makes to me.
 
Well, process of elimination makes it that, we AREN'T the Butcher.

Puppy obviously isn't the Butcher...

And meaningless Mook guys obviously don't have titles...

So of course the Ship-Woman-Person we just beat has to be The Butcher.

They probably just can't tell we're a different person because of the bright light. Honestly, shining bright lights all over the place how can they see anything!? :V

There hasn't been one as of yet, but I have been looking to see if any appear. While I've found Abyssal fan art galleries (specifically ones like 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 plus this) nothing jumps out at me as fitting her.

(It doesn't help that her class is rather hazy which is a protagonist benefit I'm allowing her.)

I am leaning towards something like this sans separate turrets to be the look for your Eager Puppy though.

Well starting from the top Puppy has killed ships, and ships are people, and thus she could be a butcher. More importantly though the protagonist has killed a BUNCH of meat people. We were massacring the Empire mooks, killed a few of their parahumans, and then punched the new ship girl so hard she exploded. If we didn't already know there was a parahuman named Butcher in town it would be an incredibly apt name for her.
