The Gifts
Santa managed to get two Gifts to you, which you will take hold of in Character Creation 3 - The Second Letter. These are powerful Gifts that can help save Christmas. It will be hard to get hold of the rest of these during the Quest, so choose wisely.
The Gifts of Santa
[ ] The Sleigh - Santa managed to get his Sleigh out of the North Pole. While it needs the Reindeer to actually fly, it can still act like ground transportation when needed. Furthermore, the Sleigh provides the ability to travel the world in one night, via time manipulation.
[ ] The Sack - Santa managed to get his Sack out of the North Pole. While you will need to work on accessing its full power, you can still pull out a decent amount of toys from it. It also acts as a Bag of Holding only you or someone greater than you can access.
[ ] The Coat - Santa has managed to get his magical coat out of the North Pole. It allows you to enter locations stealthily, without noise and without concern for locks. However, you must access its full power to gain the rest of the benefits.
[ ] The List - Santa got the Naughty and Nice list out of the North Pole. You can see who has been bad and good, provided you know their name or are within your line of sight. But there's more you can do with it, provided you spend the time to research it.
[ ] The Staff - Santa managed to get the Staff of Ded Moroz out of the North Pole. Admittedly, you are unfamiliar with the item, but you can tell there is
powerful magic in it. And someone trapped inside…
[ ] The Broom - Santa managed to get the Broom of La Befana out of the North Pole. This is not meant for you. However, it knows how to find La Befana, a powerful witch associated with Christmas and Epiphany.
The Gifts of the Magi
[ ] - The Gold of Melchior - Gold, as to a King. Three times in this Quest, you may spend the Gold of Melchior to buy an extra three actions for a Turn.
[ ] - The Frankincense of Balthasar - Incense, as to a Savior. Three times this Quest, you may turn a Failure into a Natural 100.
[ ] - The Myrrh of Caspar - Myrrh, as to a Mortal. Three times this Quest, if a Quest End would happen, it does not. Instead, the QM will figure out a way to keep the Quest, the Main Character, and Christmas alive until at least the end of the turn.
[ ] - The Life of Artaban - Sacrifice, as to the Least of These. Four times this Quest, if an Ally or an Innocent would die, or suffer a terrible fate, it does not happen. Instead, they will be whisked away from it. The fourth time you use this, you will soon die. (The Quest will not end, and you'll have just enough time to appoint a new Santa.)
The Gifts of Help
[ ] Blitzen - Blitzen managed to escape the North Pole, with more complete knowledge of what happened in the Takeover. He is also the fastest of the Nine, and can fly. - You gain the services of Blitzen. If you took the Sleigh as a gift, you can now fly the Sleigh. Blitzen is strong enough to carry you.
[ ] Jack Frost - Probably the trickiest of the known Christmas Spirits, he loves to have fun at other expense. Never anything really dangerous though, unless it's aimed at an enemy. Also, Ice Puns. Too many ice Puns. - You start with Jack Frost as an Intrigue Adviser.
