If it is Agnes' work then she should definitely be punished! HONESTLY! Letting the corpse be discovered like that! So unprofessional. Expected better than that.

Also lol at Henry having inherited the tsundere tendencies

To be fair, Agnes probably didn't have easy access to any of the more efficient disposal methods.

It'd be a little much for there to be a convenient pig farm, or incinerator, or [insert body disposal method here] just lying around at the murder scene.

So, random omake time.

This is a little alternate Reconquista (think I spelt that right) thing.

Alt. Omake: Lightning Betrayal

'Thumpthumthumpthump', came the sound of bootclad feet as they raced to stop a very important event.

A wedding that wasn't due to happen, a rather unfortunate turn of events.

'Crack' Was the sound of the church doors being kicked in.

"Stop the wedding!" Agnes cried. The only 'guests' if the wedding whirled about. Those same guests were only the 'bride', the bastard of a groom, and the prince who presiding over the event, unaware of the traitorous happenstance.

"What is the meaning of this?!" Prince Wales cried, stepping forward to confront the intruder.

"Who intrudes on this h-" The Prince was cut off by a sword-wand protruding from his chest.

The groom, and now assassin, Wardes pulled the weapon from the dying Prince's back, as he collapsed forward.

"Ah, Gandalfr." Warde's said with a grand gesture. "I hadn't expected you to arrive so soon."

"Warde's, what is the meaning of this?!" Agnes roared. She had been suspicious of the man, since she had laid eyes on him. But hadn't expected this.

"Allow me to explain Gandalfr." Warde's said as he chuckled darkly. "Having the Valerie's has strengthened Tristan immensely." He said matter of factly.

"But, if it were to gain a Void mage." Warde's gestured to Louise with his hand. "They would become much more powerful."

"You traitor!" Agnes cried, as she charged unsheathing a sword from her back.

Warde's simply laughed before affixing a mask to his face and meeting her head on.

What followed was a terribly complicated brawl that is beyond this ones ability to describe.

Warde's stood above the injured Agnes, swordwand at her throat. Without saying a word he pulled the weapon weapon back and thrust forward, prepared to end his opponents life.

He would have had it not been for a simple, short chant. "Explosion."

The traitor was sent flying, slamming into the wall nearly killing him. He propped, himself up on his swordwand, lifting himself up enough to look at the familiar and her master, who had come to her side.

"Gandalfr... This won't be the end of this. There are those who would do more... Then this..." He choked out.

"Know that your master is.. The only reason... You... Live.." He said before collapsing on his back, his mask falling off, revealing his face.

and where nothing had
before letting go of it. "You'll be a father soon enough, and I dread to think what sort of parent you'll be. Seriously, such a scandalous behavior!" she scoffed.
such scandalous
Huh. Evidently Agnes got her revenge, but I can't help but think the timing could've been better.
