    "Yeah, you can help me," putting on a charming voice. "How about me and you get to know each other better."

    You completed the flirt with a suggestive wink. Kimimaro stared at you stoically before answering with a blunt, "Okay."

    "I can't tell if he's reciprocating or he can't see the signs. Oh well!" you thought. Kimimaro quickly bought a few bags of flower seeds from the clerk and left the shop, with you walking next to him. As you walked, you decided to talk some more, "Oh, sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Maya!"

    "Kimimaro Kaguya," he replied, looking at you. "Sorry if this is awkward. I'm not too used to socializing."

    "Nah, it's fine! So, you like gardening?" you asked, eyeing the basket with flower seeds in it.

    "Somewhat. I prefer growing flowers more than anything," Kimimaro replied. "Well, I try anyway."

    "Try? Still learning the ropes?"

    "No. I can grow flowers, but usually I'm off on missions too often and they wither without my care." Kimimaro said, a hint of sorrow in his voice.

    "Oh, you're a shinobi?" you asked curiously.

    "Yes, I am. I don't care for fighting at all, but due to my ability...well, it's not your issue." Kimimaro vaguely said. "So, I am curious, how did you come here?"

    "On a boat, duh." you said with a smug grin.

    "Not like that. I know the Mist Empire hasn't accepted any refugees in the past three years or so. What made you so special?" Kimimaro asked.

    "By dumb luck, really. My...home was destroyed by the war. So, I made a small boat and tried to find a new life here, y'know? I got really lucky, no scouts managed to catch me. The second I set foot on land though I was interrogated by some shinobi and after they checked my story, well...here I am!" you explained, being a bit cryptic as not to tell him too much.

    "Ah, that would explain it. You're not the first to come for such reasons. But you really were lucky. If I was there, I would have cut you down." Kimimaro bluntly said.

    "Oh really? Why?"

    "Because it would be my mission. The orders would have been either to imprison or kill you if needed. Since the prisons are overcrowded, the best course of action would be..."

    "Yeah...I get it." you sighed. The conversation turned into an awkward silence, both you and Kimimaro walking together through the crowded streets.

    Well, what will you say now?

    "Do you want some help with your flowers? I can help teach you how to tend them properly, maybe even look after them while you are away!" you said, looking at Kimimaro hopefully.

    Kimimaro instead gave you a cold look and replied, "I know how to grow and tend to the flowers. You couldn't help anyway."

    "Why is that?" you curiously asked.

    Kimimaro took in a deep breath and sighed. "It's not that they wither and die naturally, it's due to my clan. They are bloodthirsty and find my hobby worthless. While I'm home, they won't do anything, because of my power. But when I'm away, they ruin my garden, tear out the flowers, stomp on the petals. If you tried to look after them while I was gone, they'd tear you into pieces. If it wasn't for the war slaking their blood lust, they'd probably be stupid enough to attack their own empire."

    "I see..." you muttered.

    "You know, for a stranger I just met, you're pretty easy to talk to," Kimimaro noted.

    "Aw, thanks. I try to be a good listener!" you happily said. Kimimaro grunted but said nothing else.

    Suddenly, someone ran up to Kimimaro, a plain looking man with the same red dots on his forehead that Kimimaro had, most likely from the same clan Kimimaro was from. "Kimimaro, it's an emergency!"

    "What is it?" Kimimaro asked, not seeming too worried.

    "It's Gaikotsu! He broke free and is causing havoc in the Kaguya Clan district!" the man desperately cried out.

    "Where's Hiricho?" Kimimaro asked seriously.

    "He's on a mission, he's not here to control Gaikotsu! Please, you have to stop him Kimimaro! He's going to kill everyone!"

    "I'm on it." Kimimaro said, dropping his basket and quickly running off as fast as he could.

    "Wow, things got real intense real quick! Gaikotsu, eh? I wonder what his deal is..." you thought. You had the idea to go after Kimimaro and help him, but did you really want to risk your life after just obtaining a free pass to wander around the Mist Empire?

    What will you do?

    [] Go after Kimimaro and help out. It'll be a risk, sure, but you can't stand around doing nothing if some guy is causing chaos!

    [] Sneak and follow after Kimimaro, but don't get involved. You want to see what's going on.
