We should start thinking about some fixed defences for our planets.
Nothing fancy I thing, small and easy to produce en mass.
Lets say reactor, lance battery or two for long range and no need for ammunition and whatever shields it can carry if any.
Thoughts?

The Space Elevator was completed unlocking action related to space infrastructure and upgrading of the Orbital Stations

We don't have mobility because we do not have ships.
Ships are pricy and building them will take time we do not have, what if instead of Shaggoth infested cruiser we rolled Orcs, it would be game over.
We need defences and we need them yesterday, since we have orbital elevator we should be able to build bazillion mini defence platforms for all planets to feel safe.

I'm guessing they'll get cheaper with the shipyard, we already went with infrastructure earlier so we might as well continue since we can now upgrade the drydock into a shipyard directly.

Not to mention ships will also be built quicker with the shipyard, and we can build multiple at once, maybe even start spamming ships. And it'd let us finally start building battleships and who knows what other cool stuff further upgrades will get us?

Expand the Drydock into a Shipyard: While the drydock is a very useful asset, it lacks the space for true spaceborne industry. If you are to service a fleet or produce larger scale ships you will simply need to build the drydock into the base of a proper shipyard station. Battleships are the most durable common ship class and would make for a good base to any stellar fleet.

Effects: Upgrades the drydock to allow for the construction of multiple ships at once. Allows for the construction of battleship class vessels. Reduces ship capital costs and build time for all ship types. Can be upgraded further.
 
We could probably upgrade the drydock, get more fighters and fix up PR-01 as much as possible this turn, then next turn take advantage of the new shipyard to get an Escort or two.
 
Fabricate Escorts: The bread and butter of any fleet, the humble escort varies in capabilities and equipment by role and type. Overall they tend to be small, quick and hard-hitting for their size. While most of your current hull designs are either ancient or reworked civilian designs they should still function well with updated components as frigates and destroyers.

Effects: Creates an Escort Unit.
Even before the DC reduction from the Space Elevator putting Grachis on this would've given us a 90% chance of a critical success (+160 from Tech, +30 from Martial). Though the action isn't repeatable like Repairing PR-01 is so we probably can't do multiple in one Turn.
 
Does anyone think it might be necessary to build the Testing Facilities/research blacksite for the next turn?

I say this for the possibility of analyzing what is left of the infected ship

Learn of the Aeldari Gods: While the relationship between humanity and the Aeldari has long been dominated by a cold war, with cycles of detente and aggression, humanity has learned a fair amount about their culture, mostly from Craftworld traders. Most notably among them was their immensely powerful psychic nature and the very real manifestations of their gods that ability could create. With humanity now opening to the Warp like them it might be worthwhile to dive into their divine relationships and to understand how these manifestations of the Warp worked for the Eldar and how they might manifest for psychic humans.

Effects: Grants an introduction to the Aeldari Gods and spirits and how the Eldar use them. Increases Eldar and Psionics research by 1 stage. it would probably interest the realmers
 
A lot of those kind of problems depend on circumstances of Expanshion.
If we grow habitable space faster than getting people to live. we'll be good on that department for now.

Since we will start encountering Hive Worlds in the future we will learn what not to do because rest of humanity learned it the hard way already.
