You can taste sugar now. You couldn't before, but now you can.

If my experience with fictional cat people is anything to go by, that's not going to be fun for us.

By which I mean, sugar won't taste like sugar, but like agonizing pain as the tongue sends a signal the brain doesn't know what to do with.

...Though that doesn't really fit this Quests narrative.
