Will it take a death before people take this more seriously?
We still need to make progress towards Walpurgisnacht, but if Madoka dies, we start again and she seems close to the edge currently.
Kitten time is needed before she IS KG V0.1.

Pretty much. It's a PMMM quest, going into this and not expecting some death is silly. It really doesn't matter what is said or done, we beat the quest oh so many pages and updates ago. This whole continuation is just a quest form One More Turn Syndrome. Nothing is truly at stake here. Why not be be irreverent and screwy for keks? I mean come on, Modoka about to go into despair over a kitchen. That's some Zetsubou level shit right there.

Homucifer tore at her hair, gaping at what this tiny kitten doppleganger of her had accomplished in one freaking loop.

    But first you need to clean her finger rock. It looks dirty.
    You give it a few licks, and the black comes away onto your tongue. You then spit it out. Ew.
    The dark mass writhes on the floor like a demented furball. One of your siblings smells it... and then eats it.
    Why.

    'This is an excellent opportunity to gather data,' Kyubey suddenly cuts in as he stands atop the kitchen counter, staring at your sibling who kind of sits there... and then curls up and falls asleep.

    Well, time to help Pink Girl!
    You pop into your bigger human form and hug her!

    "I'll help you clean up, Pink Girl!" you mewl, to which she nods thankfully, looking a bit better.

    She helps you get some towels and you begin mopping up the milk. As you do, all of your siblings decide to crawl onto you. Except for the one that's asleep. Madoka put him on the counter.

    In no time at all, you have a clean kitchen and a bunch of kittens crawling all over your clothes!
    You see no problem with this.

    "All clean!" you purr in satisfaction, cuddling with Pink Girl, "What now?"

    She pets you, "Well, I was thinking that maybe we should meet up with Mami-san again. If the city is in danger, we need to prepare, right?"

    Prepare. Yes, Preparing is good.
    ...
    But so is ice cream!
