[X] Bite: If we bat at the Tassle it might escape, it's all wavy and swingy, we must capture it firmly and not let go under any circumstances.

Moving strings. Moving strings. Your kitty instincts are telling you to play!
Yay, yay! You bat at the tassel with your little kitty paws. So fun! Pink Girl laughs a little at you as you do. Yay, Pink Girl likes you playing!

Your claws catch on the string, and you pull it close, gnawing on it! You've got it! You've-
...
You freeze. Sniff sniff. This smell...

Mama! This smells like mama!

'Mama!' you chew at the strings, trying to smell more of her, 'Mama!'

"Homura-chan?" Madoka reaches over, holding you as you tug at the tassel. You smell mama! Why do you smell mama?!

Now this one is a reference I don't expect anyone to get.
Unless you have a taste for very old, very bad movies.

Uh... if you're grabbing someone with giant claws, it won't be 'grip and shake', it really will be 'rip and tear', as in, inflicting grievous wounds on someone.

... where the fucking hell do you lot get that this guy killed Amura's mother?:wtf: IIRC, didn't she just die of old age/exposure?

One of the first public warning signs of clinical psychopathy (though obviously not a perfect indicator) is the maiming and/or killing of small animals, followed by the setting of small fires.

But right before that stage, there's a warning sign that only the immediate family could possibly notice: consistent bed-wetting.

Can you guys think of a sufficiently intimidating way to ask him how often his mother does laundry?

Actually, Some Kids Killed her.
Oh really? Let's examine the evidence.
Update 220:
Padding over, you sniff the strange dull red stain. It smells like blood. You remember the smell because Mama fed you things sometimes that bled.
Update 221:
"For a second I thought it might be related to that cat that died here a week ago.
Update 222:
Even as Pink girl reassures and pets you, it dawns on you. It all makes sense. Mama must have come here without you and died. She loved you so much, there's no way she would have just abandoned you!
At no point is there any mention or evidence, beyond the circumstantial, that Amura's mother was murdered, much less murdered by this specific boy.
Conclusion: Unless you've got some actual evidence you're sitting on for some unknown reason, ya'll are bunch of bloodthirsty bullshitters.

TheBleachDoctor said that some kids smashed in her head.

No. You're the one accusing everyone of being full of shit. I'm just telling you why everyone is certain Amy's mother was killed by kids. I don't actually care whether you believe me or not. Not enough to go digging through this thread for you. If you want to be certain of your claim, you go dig through the thread.
I have dug back through the thread for evidence proving or disproving you all's point. I found no such quote that stated Amura' mother was killed by children, or this boy in particular. You're being a bad debater at best by getting pissy when asked to give evidence of a claim, or a sore loser at worst when you don't actually have any evidence.

When I say kids, I meant Teenagers. In fact it's those same Teenagers that Almost Killed Yoko.

Wait a second, are these the same kids Hitomi chased off from killing Yoko? Because it was my intent that they be the same duo that killed Amura's mother so if so she may recognise them as well.

Oh...shit...

It would behoove you to be less aggressively disbelieving next time someone who's actually played the quest from the start says something was established by Word of God.
I asked for evidence, none was supplied. So I had no reason to believe they were accurate, and I don't believe in Arguments from authority, especially authority as shaky as 'I've been here longer'. If this is the response to a new player who asks the same questions I did, then I guess you all don't want new people around.
And now that you have kindly provided the quote in question, I have a new argument to make: Acting on Out-Of-Character Information. Attacking the boy is that. Amura has no reason to connect the boy's string to him being his mother's murderer. She certainly didn't suspect the man who entered the ally where her mother was as being connected to her mother's demise, so I do not see the in-character thoughts here.

"I've been here longer" isn't particularly shaky when it means one has actually read the entire thread.

Most new players asking the questions you did would be less hostile while doing so, and so would be treated with less hostility in turn.

With you there.
