Fish only cost money if you don't have humans to buy them for you. Or if you can't catch them yourself. Or if you can't outrun the shopkeeper. Basically, Amura will never need to buy anything for herself in her life.

Building where I work has a variable number of kitties. Currently five. Or four. Sometimes, up to seven. But only three currently like to be close to humans, and I am not friend with orange tabby after he peed where he shouldn't have.

So, yes. Two that respond positively to pets and many more.
