I'm not a Doom fan. I know of Doom for what it is, but I have made zero effort to learn of its lore or memes, because I am turned off by the aesthetic.
Not everyone is going to know everyone about Doom.
I learned this with Space Battleship Yamato. Space Battleship Yamato is so iconic that it seemed absurd to me that there were people who didn't even know what it was, aside from that it was a name of a franchise that existed.
Hell, I've met people who didn't haven't even heard of the name "Yamato".

If you had attacked Bone Dog, Madoka would have died. I didn't have Amura worry over Madoka's injuries for two updates for shits and giggles.

But that wasn't the reasoning you gave. You gave three flimsy excuses instead: Overly-perfectionist english, not knowing a fairly ubiquitous part of internet culture, and not taking any reasonable actions against what you perceived to be a vote to commit suicide.
Any one of these on their own would be a minor detail left as a learning opportunity. But all together, is a frankly out of character mishandling of the situation from you. Even you now saying that Madoka would have died at this time, could very well be you making that up because I suggested it beforehand, for all any of us knows.
So to sum it all up, my problem is more your mishandling the pushback and refusal to even acknowledge that you made mistakes.

I don't like having to spell out things I'm trying to imply in my updates, and I was waiting to see if anyone picked up on it. One or two people started to, but some people, yourself included, apparently decided that I'm a petty moron and promptly drowned them out.
You didn't find it odd that Madoka being injured by an enemy, something which is normally an Amura berserk button, didn't result in automatic rip and tear but instead resulted in Amura becoming overly concerned about Madoka dying? And then another update ground this point in, and you still missed it.
So I'm spelling it out for you now. If I had merely been peeved with your word choice, I would have had Amura commit suicide. But I didn't, because Madoka needs to be healed.
