Honestly, I assumed that Madoka would be smart enough to come with us.
 
Why? She's an archer. The best position for an archer to fight from is at a distance. Ideally while moving swiftly enough to stay safe or from behind cover.

Amura is a close-range combatant. Fighting from a distance is a bad idea for her.

Before, we were acting as Madoka's mount and giving her mobility while she focused on shooting.

Now we're providing cover so that she can shoot safely.

All turning human and taking the sleeping disk does is deprive her of both.

So, the question is...can we leave the Sleeping Disc here, to protect the Mado, while we attack? If not, we need to stay. If so, we let her keep shooting from safety while we pull out our Best Cat claws.

Also, we need to check our gem after the fight. See how much (if any, considering its origin), magic the barrier burns in order to do its job. Would suck to block something from Walpurgis, only to become Homeowlilly moments later.

Do you want to test the shield and risk Madoka or just let her massacre the witch from unbreakable cover and experiment with it in safety?

I wonder if we can use our powers to just add cat legs to the sleeping disk. That way we can sleep on the go and Pink Girl will never have to go without our wondrous presence.

Interesting idea, it could also make a metallic cat which would be ccool, though remember what happened last time we tried to cat an inanimate object?
