Quick, let's distract TBD from the fact that Madoka has a loving housewife for a father!
I'll use my psychosis and horrible wordsmithing!
A Chapter in the Life of an Unordinary Schoolgirl
Hitomi Shizuki leaned on the back of her chair, a swivel chair she was sitting backwards on. The green-haired girl stared straight at the little white creature that had seated itself on Hitomi's Catgirl Konata body pillow on her bed.
The weird thing had followed her home after the incident in the diner where that Drill-Haired Girl summoned GUNS out of nowhere and shouted something about magic. And now it was telling her that she could have magic, too!
"So, um... you're saying you'll grant me any wish, and give me magic? There's something you're not telling me, isn't there?" Hitomi may have had delusions about girls loving other girls, which was totally impossible, but even she knew when something was too good to be true! The creature's tail swished from side-to-side,
'There are some things which are unnecessary for you to know at this point in time. You will receive your wish and a certain set of Magical Powers. In exchange, you will be required to use those powers to hunt and destroy entities known as "Witches". Witches are entities which are harmful to the human race, actively hunting them, so it is natural that you would want to destroy them.'
Hitomi rested her head in the palm of her hand. So she'd become a magical monster hunter in exchange for any wish she wants. It sounded too simple. She learned from her daddy to be careful when making deals - the other person might have cards hidden up their sleeves, so it was best to make sure you were getting a desirable result. It was already apparent that there was some kind of masquerade, so she couldn't just use her magic in public. Still, she needed a wish that would definitely be something she wanted, something she could never have otherwise and would do absolutely anything for.
Struck with inspiration, Hitomi pounded her fist into the palm of her hand. "That's it! Alright, I want you to grant this wish, then. I wish that girls could love girls!"
Silence. The two stared at each other in silence. The creature was the first to speak.
'It would appear that wish cannot be granted.'
"Ehhh!? Why not!?" Hitomi frowned, seriously doubting this thing's capabilities from that response. And what it said next only confused her.
'A wish which would not alter the state of the universe is incapable of being granted. In other words, it would appear that girls are already capable of feeling this emotion you refer to as love, with regard to other girls.'
Hitomi's emotions shifted, from confusion, to realization, to delight. So... Girls could love girls! That's amazing! That's perfect! But. What kind of wish could Hitomi want? She pouted. Maybe she should talk to that drills girl tomorrow about it. In the meantime, Hitomi told the creature, "I'll save my wish for later then," as she turned back to her computer to look through her pictures of cute animal girls.
I really should channel more of this uncreativity into Caecitas Amoris...
