[x] Sure let's do this: Blowing up aliens in a hostile Tiberium infested environment? That's basically Tuesday for you.

-[X] advise that you should deal with any Tiberium infested areas alone until you can clear up and contain the spread. We don't want a bunch of dumb grunts going and spreading the infestation around.

Time to really kick some alien ass!

There's more to this than just your average blow aliens up. Consider whose asking for help, and what do they stand to gain from your actions.
Which shouldn't matter much since the commander doesn't have the proper context to know the cesspit he's getting himself into, and technically speaking as a commander of GDI it's his duty to clean up Tiberium infested areas and kill hostile aliens.

Come on people don't be stupid. What, did you miss that the CIA was here as well? Look at the situation. Just because we have a bigger bag of tricks than they could possibly know doesn't mean it's a good idea to just agree outright.

What's their angle with this. We need more information, and more importantly we need to know where we'll be deployed.

I don't really care what their angle is, and being insulting isn't going to make me more likely to listen to you.

I don't really care, but when the GM asks that people look at the situation usually it's a good to listen to them.

When was it remotely ever a good idea to tell the GM "It shouldn't matter!" When they ask you to consider something?

And now you're completely misrepresenting what I'm saying too.

I said I don't really care, not that it shouldn't matter, don't put words in my mouth.

If you had actually read the update properly, you would notice that they want you to assualt the Lyon hive, at least for this operation and that they plan on purging europe afterwards.

[X] I need more information before I can commit to any decision: You can't just waltz through half a country of aliens and Tiberium just because someone ask nicely.

The presence of the US General, and CIA analyst it is plausible they're after the G Elements in the Hive, or a chance to look at the technology GDI uses to contain* Tiberium, but regardless of that the fact remains this operation is important for humanities survival on this version of Earth therefore it is his/her duty to see it done.

Yet that doesn't mean the Commander can't ask for more information, because it is entirely plausible for the CIA to make use of this operation to eliminate the Commander, and gain exclusive access to all of the technology related to Tiberium.

*I'd expect the Commander to leave the equipment behind to contain the local Tiberium fields which is probably what the US is after since their goal is to keep their position as the world's superpower.

The BETA are a secondary concern for us. I just want to go along do we can start cleaning up all of the Tiberium in Europe.

You know why am I even engaging you if you don't actually care or even choose to pay attention to who I'm referring too. If you're going to vote to screw us over fine.

If you had actually read my argument properly you would have seen I meant in the context of their other forces during the assault.

GM did ask us to consider who is asking for help here:

Let's find out what the CIA have planned first before we blow it and their expectations away with an ion cannon.

You know, I think we should have a body guard alongside us at all times when dealing with the UN and other powers. Adding maybe two more commandos wouldn't hurt. Also an engineer too, just in case.

It's not mentioned in the update, but the Commando is next door with a breaching charge wired up and his finger on the trigger.

It's just one CIA guy. For all you know he's here to just operate the slide show projectors. There's such a thing as too much paranoia as well. But on the other hand,

You can't kill the Messiah.

We should have a zone trooper with us at all times. What will be his purpose? Fetching coffee.

That's actually something that you are only supposed to know or hash out after you say yes. You know it's called Opsec. Try and keep up with the program.
Against humans that'd be a better argument but we're fighting BETA.

At most we need to find out who'll be in command and how our forces will work the MuvLuv forces due to difference in communication tech and command structure. The fact we have tactical WMDs completely changes whatever strategy they have.

It's the CIA; them trying to screw us over for no real reason is basically a given.

If Nod is here they've probably already infiltrated every intelligence agency here; knowing how incompetent MuvLuv intelligence agencies are, Nod probably didn't even need to try that hard.
