Uh guys? We are Daedra right? Do we really want to attract attention of the Divines?

I prefer the khajiit view of the cosmos, where all the Divines and Daedric Princes are actually family with each other and they haven't all killed each other because killing family is bad.

(seriously, there's a book in skyrim that gives you the full khajiit creation story, its hilarious, but I can't remember the name of the book)

You mean this one?

Best part? I first found that book while inside one of the Black Books.

(for those who don't know, the Black Books are portals to Hermaeus Mora's library of forbidden knowledge)
Classic shit to be found in the Black Books, especially since it includes the subtle plot hint for the eventual installment Elder Scrolls #: Elsweyr:
And Fadomai said, "The Khajiit must be the best climbers, for if Masser and Secunda fail, they must climb Khenarthi's breath to set the moons back in their courses."

In which people start believing you aren't crazy
"Come with me." You say quickly, scoop Morlia up in one arm. The elf barely notices, she's really out of it then. Diana looks between you and Martin with her brows squashed together in confusion. Martin just raises an eyebrow at you and stays put. "You and I both know you can get rid of me easily if you want to brother Martin. Now lets not talk about all this in the middle of town." He pales a little, the effect you wanted and follows you to an out of the way alley behind the chapel.

"What do you know daedra?" Martin asks, his tone harsh and unyielding. You'd describe it as the voice of an emperor if that wasn't cliched to hell and back. His arms are at his sides and though you can't see any magic in his hands you're fairly sure he can change that before you could possibly draw your sword.

"I know that you believe your father's a farmer and that your mother is supposed to have died giving birth to you. I know you discovered daedric magic and temptations young. I know that you joined a cult of Sanguine, fun guy, and made friends there. I know that you had the sanguine rose for a little while. I know your friends died and you think it's your fault. I know you left the cult and a priest converted you to the Divines. I know you're a good man who will do anything for his country and the safety of the people." You say quickly, feeling a little like you're reciting a wiki-page. Martin's eyes widen with each successive sentence.

"How...?" He breathes. "How can you know all of that? No one knows I.... No one could give you all that information." You can practically see his keen mind getting to work on the problem, you decide to help him out.

"I know because I'm sort of like a self contained and stable dragonbreak, I know many of the important events that will occur over the next couple of years." Thankfully Martin doesn't blast you off your feet or banish you like you know he could. He just nods slowly, accepting what you just said at face value.

"And I'm someone important." He states flatly.

"Yes. Your father is Uriel Septim VII, your mother was one of his mistresses." That doesn't get a reaction beyond slightly raised eyebrows. "About a year from now the Mythic Dawn will assassinate the Emperor and all his known heirs, the Dragon Fires go out and Dagon tries to invade Nirn. The only person who can relight the fires is you. If you stay here an Oblivion gate will open outside the city and Kvatch will be destroyed. You survive and a Hero, capital H foretold in the Elder Scrolls kinda guy, comes to rescue you and help you stop Dagon's invasion." You relate the basics of the Oblivion crisis.

"I see." Martin says calmly. "You came to me first rather than warn the Emperor and his Blades why?"

"I like you," you answer glibly, "and you're closer. Morlia summoned me sort of accidentally yesterday. Since she insisted we come here I figured I'd get this out of the way. And prove to her I'm not crazy." Martin nods again, a thoughtful frown on his face. "You know... you're taking this very well."

"At the moment I see no reason to disbelieve you." Martin answers calmly. "I shall begin to prepare myself then, in case these events are something you cannot stop and I am needed."

"Actually about that, if you make a pilgrimage to every wayshrine you should get a vision that will show you how to retrieve the Crusaders Relics. That'll probably be more useful than what you can achieve here I think." Martin's got to be 'worthy' he ends up turning into the avatar of Akatosh at the end of the Oblivion Crisis, laying down his life for his country. If that isn't worthiness you don't know what is.

"I shall think about it certainly." Martin says. "Good evening to you and blessings of Akatosh be upon you and your mistress and her friend." Martin starts to go back to the chapel and you wave your hand in Morlia's face.

"So you believe me now?" You ask.

"How can I not. You were right." She whispers. "Come on, I want to sleep for a week."

A bit sad that you didn't mention that Uriel already knows. Dude took his death like a Champ. So did Titus Mede II.

[X]Mention a way to begin fucking over the Dagon cult, and if she cares why the Thalmor got into power--basically lying their asses off about them being the ones to end the Oblivion Crisis. Assholes.

[X] Before sleep - sell the loot from the bandits and get a spell. summon scamp shouldn't cost too much.
[X] During sleep - repeatedly summon scamps and fight them through the night, resting between fights. its not like we really need sleep anyway...
[X] In the morning - convince Morlia to let you enter the Kvatch arena to test your newly grinded combat and summoning skills. the gold prizes for winning won't hurt either.

Could you throw the scamps instead?

Also who here remembers the guy fucking over the Dark Brotherhood? We might want to check that dude out before we start making too many enemies.

[X] Do something before/while Morlia and Diana sleep
-[X] After Morlia sleeps take Diana and sell our loot, then get her a new outfit that looks less like a necromancer's. Calmly explain to her that despite a likely daedric invasion in the nearish future, there is no reason to panic because Fast has it all under control, and nothing could possibly go wrong with us in control.
--[X] Go to the Kvatch's Mage's Guild and check out their spell selection for sale. If they have basic healing or flame/lightning spells that we can afford, buy those. If we can only afford one, go for the basic healing spell. If none, give up and vow to kill your way through bandits to get the cash while posing dramaticaly.
---[X] Ask Necro-Chan Diana what kind of magical school/s she's interested in.
----[X] If the Mage's Guild is not open at this time, do this tomorrow morning after checking up on Martin.

[X] Plans for the morning
-[X] Check up on Martin to make sure he was'nt murdered by Mythic Dawn in the night or something, just on the off-chance that Chaos Theory works like that in this universe. If he's ok, ask Morila what she wants to do about the Dark Brotherhood after the recent revelations. Add that we know where they hang out.

[X] "You two also have a very important destiny. Specifically you're plebs of no particular importanct and not foretold at all. Which is why none of the big players are going to expect you to screw up everything"
-[X]"oh, and the Tomb of Prince Camarril is a map to the Red Dawn cult, look at midday when the sun intersects the White Gold Tower"
--[X]"and it might be a good idea for you Martin to make sure to sow some wild oats yourself. Frankly the more widespread your bloodline, the safer the world is"

Traitor...?

each of the Mage guildhouses in each city specialize in a different type of magic. spells within that type will be plentiful while others will only be the most basic at best. Kvatch specializes in Conjuration magic (hence why I suggested summon scamp, the most basic of conjuration spells).

however all major Churches of the Nine sell a small selection of basic healing spells, we should have enough for "heal self" and "summon scamp" (or whatever the hell the proper names are), unfortunately "heal other" is annoyingly more expensive...
