Yes...we could, can and would always be able to. We tried and failed, bu we still could and can. The only reason we don't have one right now even as king is because we didn't meet the DC, nothing more, nothing less.
You think that is bad? The Dwarfes were killed even though the Odinsons were there and couldn't stop it. What great 'Guardians of the Nine Realms' we turned out to be. Point is, this is PR nightmare.

We outright needed to ask the Dwarves to make one for us since we didn't know how. So don't think we can just make one.

If that's your plan strongly suggest we leave some forces to watch over Nidaveller since just leaving something like that without any defenses seems extremely unwise.
@KnowledgeKing if the Dwarves are dead, does that mean we won't be getting our new weapon?
This is exactly why I recommend evacutaing the dwarves.
@KnowledgeKing If we trick another government or subvert the government will Thanos auto know or will he investigate?
Can we obscure our involvement in it?
Edit: Ultron is basically Odin now so no way we win even if Odin wakes up and those artifacts are now more dangerous. We need to strike back using catspaws that Thanos cannot Trace to us.

Kinda pathetic that Asgard has to evacuate an entore realm because its too weak to protect the dwarves.
Lets just reroll their deaths.
This is definitely something we need too fix next turn, maybe make firm allies with all of the Realms. If we can get Surtur onto our side and get the crown back, then we can get rid of Mephisto for good. Also should definitely improve in all fields of development.
We can't the roll we have to rereoll is the Thor Loki team up if we want to reverse dwarves genocide.
Edit: @radioxaxa first we need to fill in the security holes that the QM hinted at. Then the turn after that Odin should be awake to help us with the conference.

Me too. But to be honest, this is more us making sure that no one else takes them, and we had good relations with the Dwarfes, so I like to think that they would prefer us having them than the others. Probably.

Just realized that our h2h bonus was turned from 30 to 5. The difference in martial was never a mechanic until now. If I am wrong someone correct me.
Edit: Don't waste the reroll, we would need a 42 to tie and above to pass.
Another thing I realized was the QM said that if we copied people's knowledge then op characters would notice us and we wouldn't gain stat points to equal the knowledge. Ultron has gained the stat points somehow on top of the knowledge and it doesn't seem like Thanos is suffering any blow back.

Earlier I was waiting for the Kree to attack Titan on the order of Supreme Intelligence.
I mean there is another AI far more superior to her/it. But then again... backlashes are only for the players, the NPC get away scot-free.

The handwave I was speaking of was the stealing money from Phoenix to fund a mercnary group that was done in perfect secret such that Loki's own spies did not have an inkling to the huge planetary invasion.
Also, you are acting like Thanos should have been known to still be insane, but there was no reason to predict that because the event that drove him insane- the destruction of his planet was stopped. It would be like we prevented Joker from entering a life of crime or we socialized Orichimaru enough to ingrain ethical research. At that point in time, the being himself shoild have been changed. After all, in the movie Thanos was called mad because of his methodology of goal, not because he was unable to grasp reality. He understood people getting angry, pain, loss, and temptation- he destroyed the infinity stones because he knew he woild be tempted to undo his own works.
This Thanos cannot understand why Loki woild be salty that he attempted to assasinate Odin. And what, exactly, is this revelation that he has to save the universe? Accumulation of wealth through conquest and genocide?
Also, we are limited by your options you give us: the game is no more "free" than other quests. The philosophy of core trait is different. The balancing is brutal, the rules change to make the game harder, and the player relations are a bit different. But, the game is no more free than any other game.

What is Thanos's learning? He was able to create Ultron in one turn while Osmond with help barely gets anything out of the tablet and space stone in the same amount of time.
Why haven't any of the other empires intervened yet? Empires don't just let competition rise up, so at least the Kree or someone else would sabotage them.

There are literally billions of worlds in a single galaxy. It makes sense that other worlds aren't stressing every single world going up. Besides that Titan doesn't really seem to have done much to piss of other people besides Asgardians. It would seem like a hamfisted attempt and basically be saying that no matter what anyone does you can never rise up because other people would just squash you, just because.
Which would be seen as extremely unfair if it was the players trying to raise up their world.
