Like... goddammit dude.

Uh... I think I get what you mean.
However...
[] Stay with them (agree to meet with Abyss Knight)

[] Leave (gather your things and learn where to go)
The vote on that even stated you would ask the other girls where to go. I would even have clarified that this means getting told where Kibo is, had any of you wondered and asked for clarification. As it was, I figured people understood this because nobody asked.

So... I do get that you are not happy, but it seems that mistakes were made on both sides in this regard.

... I all but explicitly asked for that kind of clarification. All you told me was that they were nowhere near our current location and Judge was hesitant, at best, to have us tag along with her.

All that says to me is we'd be wandering around the wasteland, on our own, dodging UES patrols, probably half-starving, and only able to pray that someone who knew where Strength and her faction were would show up.

At Best.

If we were, say, told that the other group doesn't have a presence in the area and we'd be on our own if we left them then I could see them going to meet Yggdrasil.
However... distance is... well. Let us just say no one but the girls from Yggdrasil is nearby and the girls would have no reason to assume otherwise.

I realise I should not have answered a non-question in the first place.
Additionally, my response was "No, there are no girls from Kibo around", which answered your question of "Are there any girls from Kibo around?"
Not that it will change anything; you will end up in Kibo either way
Maybe I should reiterate that I am dense at times, but... this was all there was to it for me. I never even thought about the fact it would mean any more.
So if you want to know something in particular, you have to ask me directly. I can not read your intentions from your words unless you spell them out to me.

Plus... I am kind of happier you people chose to go meet Abyss Knight anyway, even when I did not expect that to happen.
At the time the last vote went down, my plan for the other option was to have the girls take off at night, which would have left Judge behind either way.
(I know this was a bad idea, but I only realised it when I started writing this Update with the fact they would stay in mind)

By the way, you still have a write-in on your choice.

If you want to change your decision, you can just vote something like
[] You would rather stay with Judge
and will be on your way with her again.

The write-in is for exactly that kind of thing. Decisions that are not on the forefront of Eva's and Rico's mind for one reason or another.

In that case, I think the biggest question at this point is "are we closer to Kibo or Yggdrasil?"

Seeing that Abyss Knight has a legitimate grudge, I'd rather try to get her talking with Kibo and our sister.

To me it looks like Yggdrasil considers the UES military one monolithic block, which simply isn't true.
We can try to let her see that, depending on how much her powers warped her.
Tell her how our sister, the Minister of Defense, agrees it's better to run than be an enforcer.
How she helped us get another MG out of the town.
That she helps Kibo out as much as she can, but sadly does not have unlimited authority.
Let her open communications with our sister, cause we know we can reach them via Kibo.

I don't expect this to change things for the better instantly, but it'd a step in the right direction.

On the longterm, maybe try working out a plan to get Bianca's rivals embarrassed, make them lose influence.
Let's try poaching UES enforcer girls.
When we run into Brave Heart again, let's talk to her.
She's gotta be quite confused by how she was treated. She seemed to have had a very white/black morality going, but our actions have shown cracks in that view.
Let's explain to her that most MGs simply want to live without being forced to fight for old mans, who sent MGs out to slaughter armies wholesale.
That we'd prefer to not fight at all, but only got to choose between running away or being forced to fight.

I... Dammit Naron. IC that' legitimate, OoC that was a dick move. Like holy shit, "So either the Abyss Knight's to make the best of a bad situation or wander around the wastelands with no survival skills with Judge maybe staying with you and the UES probably hunting you, choose" and then you drop that, oh, Judge knows where the other faction is right afterwards.

Like... goddammit dude.
Uh, it was pretty clear thats whats going to happen?
She's not the type to dump the twins in the wilderness, or she'd already have done so!

Information is good, but we got a moment of peace we REALLY need to know how our stuff works so if we kill someone it's on purpose.

Now that we've decided to pay Yggs a visit, I wouldn't change our decision even if we could go to Kibo. Knowing both options were on the table would have been more fair, but I don't think we'd give them a chance otherwise, and they interest me.
Uh, it was pretty clear thats whats going to happen?
Not quite. It wouldn't be her abandoning us, but rather, us running off. She promised she would guide us to some girls she knows, and she did. That we don't find them too attractive as a company is kinda our problem, and it was implied she refers us to others because she can't babysit us herself.

Even if she went beyond a simple courtesy and walked us to some other girls, there would still be no guarantee these new girls would be from Kibo.

To me it looks like Yggdrasil considers the UES military one monolithic block, which simply isn't true.
Or they think it makes no difference to them, which could be entirely true.

I mean, how much would the knowledge that there exists a faction condemning quietly disapproving UES actions warm you when they plant a bullet between your ears?

Those who believe that peace should be reached through cooperation go to Kibo. Those who believe peace can only be achieved through parity of power - or straight up superiority - remain with Yggdrasil. It would be strange to assume it's a problem with them not knowing something, rather than them holding different convictions. They know Kibo exist and have plans of their own, they just don't find them viable or acceptable.

Oh.
Now all the opposition to heeding our sister's advice makes sense if you thought that was going to happen.

Everything I was reading from Judge, from her in story dialogue and demeanor to Naron's comments on her OoC, gave the (somewhat explicit really) impression that she did not want us.

That the only reason she escorted us this far even was because she felt bad about being part of what separated us from our family.

That as soon as we had a chance to go with someone who could feed us, she would drop us and wander off on her own. Because at that point it would have been our choice to go hungry rather than go with someone.

You assume that she thinks there is a choice to be made at all.
Judge has been doing that for a while; she hangs out and goes where she wants, meeting Iron/Mirror or [Redacted] to resupply.

Four times, she stumbled over another Magical Girl that managed to run off before. Each time, she brought the girls along and had whoever she met with next take them along.
She literally only has what she carries around, which is enough for her... but she knows this style is not for everyone. All the girls before you were happy getting a place to stay and Judge knows that Abyss Knight sends all the girls that do not want to fight over to stay with Kibo anyway.

The only unusual thing about this situation is that the twins are Bianca's siblings and Knight wants to talk to them directly; she has no reason to assume that they will not be sent off to Kibo afterwards, anyway.

And ultimately, Judge can not look into your heads. She has not the slightest idea that you might not want to go with Yggdrasil because you do not trust them. To her, this is little different from the girls she sent along with her contacts before.

Ok, changed my mind. I'm not sure how to handle Black Knight. We are the perfect hostages for a government she hates. And she's throwing a super powered temper tantrum. Not sure anything we say to her would have a positive impact.

We already got confirmation from Naron that we won't be forced to join them.

We made a positive first impression on Ignition Sentinel and Mirror Memento, because we saved Ignition Sentinel.
Doubt they'd react positively to Knight trying to force us to do anything.

So far there are four people saying to keep going to talk with Abyss Knight and one to abort.
Tied on who we go with though.

We shouldnt label her that fast as just a evil MG. Maybe she isnt that evil to use us as hostages. Mostly because if she does that against our will, she will most likely loose much of her backup from many other MG´s, because what she does is nearly the same es what the government does.

Besides that I really doubt she is such a person anyway. Naron said already how her personality is, even if he maybe didnt wanted it in that moment. Ygdrasil and Kibo seems to have different things they believe they will work, but dont dislike each other. Following that I believe they wont be against each other or other MG´s as long as they didnt try directly to interfere with their respective plans.

I would go and meet Abyss Knight but make it clear that we dont want to fight especially against our Big Sister and we just want to live happy and in peace.

You'd be surprised how quickly people become hypocritical when it's to their advantage. Besides, she kills Magical Girls that stand in her way. What's to stop her from using hostages?

Or does she just hurt them? I can't recall.

Then Bianca becomes serious.

You sit a little more straight when she looks at you like that; did you do something wrong?
"The other one you should know about right now... is Abyss Knight. If you ever meet her, do not listen to what she says and do not help her in any way."
Huh?
Big sis takes a deep breath and lowers her head.

"She leads Yggdrasil, the other faction of Magical Girls. Their goals are the same as the other's, to make it so Magical Girls can live in peace... only they do it by destroying the rest of humanity."
Huh? What?
How does that even work? Magical Girls are humans, too!

But... no, really, how does it work?
"Why do they think that will help? Bianca, what is happening?"
"I don't know. Yggdrasil stays mostly in America these days, killing the few thousand that remain there... my contacts are nowhere near them and I can't get any data. I know that Abyss Knight is planning something, though."

She stays quiet for a moment and you look at your sister; she looks so sad... and that makes you sad.
But Bianca shakes her head and it is gone. "If you ever meet her, just don't listen. I heard she won't hurt Magical Girls even if they disagree with her, only if they try to protect regular people and get in her way. She is hard to miss... tall and blond, with a black armoured dress and a two-handed blade with red markings. Her eyes are usually hidden by a mask that matches the blade, black and red."

So... you probably should stay away from that person, if you ever see her. Even if you have trouble imagining someone who wears that much black.
That is all information that Bianca told us.
Though from the dream we also got:

But that did not stop anything. How could she look her mother in the eyes tomorrow? How could she tell her the girls were on their way to Yggdrasil?
Bianca knew so very well that Abyss Knight was not wrong, even when she was doing little more than throwing a superpowered temper tantrum. The twins would know as well... and if they were made to choose too early... if they chose destruction over peace... could she really fight them? Drag them into a better future kicking and screaming?
What I read from that is, that Bianca tried to give us an overly simplified view of Yggdrasil (because we are little children and Bianca does not want us anywhere near them).
Bianca knows they have good reason to be angry and upset, but thinks they go at it without any chance for longterm success and making things worse.

But we also know she sends MG´s who dont want to fight or cant fight (maybe ability or age) to Kibo. Bianca dont want us to speak with her because she feares that we will join her and Yggdrasil. That gives me the feeling that she is very good with words and with the things that MG´s must endure are a strong point in favor of her believes.
Like Bianca said Abyss Knight isnt wrong, but neither side is absolutly wrong. Even so no side is right either. I would say until know Naron did a good job to show us that.

If Abyss Knight would use us as hostages or something like that, it will only work if we are consent with that. Because even if everyone within Yggdrasil will accept that doing the same thing towards two 10 years old MG´s, that is the reason they want to fight against the government. Kibo most likely wont accept that. Then we would have a new full scale war and I doubt Abyss Knight would risk that. More so because Strength Is the leader of Kibo and one of the storngest MG´s who are alive.

IF Knight would risk that, I dont think Yggdrasil would be existing until now. (At least she is absolutely certain that she and her group will win.)

I think she will try to get information from us. Like what Bianca and the government are planning and so on, because she dont/cant know that we dont know anything.
The look on her face that she will have if she wants us to speak about our Big Sister. XD

I have a hard time imagining Eva not getting in Black Knight's way one day. Mainly because she wants nobody to be hurt.

And killing is hurting.

Let's tell her how we ransomed our Big Sister for lunch :D

XD THAT is the idea, she will totally learn how much the twins idolize her Big Sister. XD

And DarkKing that is true, BUT it wont happen now. Because if we would fight her now we wouldnt have a chance. Later we will most likely have a chance against her. At least if we throw Dmg with 9 digits in her face. XD

Because even if everyone within Yggdrasil will accept that doing the same thing towards two 10 years old MG´s, that is the reason they want to fight against the government. Kibo most likely wont accept that. Then we would have a new full scale war and I doubt Abyss Knight would risk that.
Over two girls? They'd likely not lift a finger - it's not worth it. We should probably accept it that our fate would be entirely in Knight's hands, and the only thing protecting us would be her own moral fiber, whatever it is.

I do, however, imagine that both Yiggdrasil and Kibo are necessary components to integrate MGs back in the society. Like good cop/bad cop, they drive home the idea that you need to negotiate rather than shoot, and Yiggs serve as a perfect 'or else', a stick to Kibo's carrot. Their willingness to fight serve as a guarantee of MGs rights to live without a bomb implanted.

As for personal judgements, I'll probably draw the line at whether they attack civilian installations, or limit themselves to military targets. The few thousands in North America sound concerning, but I thought there weren't any settlements there, so who exactly was it that they have driven out?
