We didn't heal by transforming but by using the healing spell.
 
*Drums fingers* We probably have a bit of lee-way. I very much doubt any mother wants to think they're kids are magical girls, however she will likely suspect magic is involved somewhere... We need to leave. Within the next couple of days.

I think our sister isn't coming for a while yet? It'll be easier to leave if she isn't here yet I suspect. Or close at least.

We'll probably want to level up our flight a few times as well, just to get away that much more quickly. Maybe another level or two into Sun's spell as well.

You honestly think these two would leave when they know their beloved big sister is coming? Weren't you one of the people who keep saying not to do out of character things?

Also, why? Why do you assume the moment we do something strange everyone will assume we are Magical Girls? It's annoying.

And before you even say it, "We choose Human Nature" is not a proper answer.

Except it kind of is. Humans in this setting (from every way I've heard described so far, we really need to read those textbooks even if they're censored cause kids) have a fear of magical girls. I mean like full-blown "Hunt the Witches" in medieval Europe and early America kind of fear. The kind of fear that turns everyone into mass murdering mob of people.

And yes, I did say to not do out of character things. But that's only insofar as to keep us from being found out, it doesn't help if we're found out anyway.

And I didn't say they'll assume we're magical girls. I said they'll assume we got hit with something magical. Which is just as bad because people will investigate. Legitimately for our own good in that case, but they'll likely stumble across us being Magical Girls during the... investigation/check-up.

Just..urgh. Ok. Lets take this one at a time. @Naron Do they have any way to tell if someone is a Magical Girl without seeing them transform?

They would need another Magical Girl that can sense untransformed MGs for that, as there is no rod of detecting magic in this installment.
I can tell you now that, at this point, there is only one girl capable of sensing others of her kind. She can only do so when they are transformed. And, most importantly, she would flip the bird at anyone from any government trying to put her to ratting out her fellows, then cut them and everyone with them to pieces.

Another question. Can a person just accuse a girl to be a Magical Girl, or would they need some kind of evidence to be taken seriously?

They can, but nobody does this lightly (i.e. without evidence or at least a strong suspicion); if the girl in question is taken in and it turns out she is not a Magical Girl, whoever accused her will be punished harshly.
In fact, your big sister put this particular law into place to stop people from reporting others because they did not like their faces.

Thank you. This does comfort me, knowing that unless we do another huge fuck up, it's very hard to get us convicted as MGs.

One final question, how recognizable are we in Magical Girl form?

In other words, if they do see us, they'll know who we are almost immediately.

On another note, do we know some of the signs they look for when trying to ferret out magical girls? If only as things we're told to tell the nearest adult and stuff.

Maybe we can fake it or at least be sure not to pick anything too strenuous that would look suspicious because remember she wasn't wincing when walking ludger, we just have to play it safe...er.

Rico making some noticeable damage is better than Eva healing herself because the damage could be blamed on anything. Like a second demon!

Just as a sidenote, the moment she want to change the bandages we are found out by our mother. Therefore I think it is hilariously funny how some came up with the idea to train our mind-connection without our mother noticing. BUT i dont think (or more I hope) that our mother will hate us and therefore it is bad that we are found out but it isnt the worst.
As long as we are not found out by anyone other than our own mother we are out of mortal danger .. for now. Thats why we should train to lay low until we are havn´t a choice but to run. Poor little girls.

Ehh... I'm not going to hope. The mother hates Magical Girls. And depending on the propaganda it could be like Anathema in Exalted. Basically "The person you knew is dead and now it's only a monster wearing their skin."

Which is honestly very effective really.

You were told to tell an adult when you saw a girl sneaking off for weird or no reasons or sneaking off at all, when someone ditched school or stayed at home more than usual. And they told you to mention when one of your friends goes to play alone more often.
