Lex Mechanica

[] Plan: Organicists Galore
-[] Coalition: Yes: Humanists, Cogs of Justice, Sect of the holy lightning inspiration, Holy machine faction. No: Seekers of the Omnissiah
-[] 1: Cooperate with General Gaius Manorvitch of Valhalla, and Inquisitor Evallin of Ordo Xenos
-[] 2: Establish the black-lab on a big asteroid or similar isolated location, with enough arms aimed at it to deal with possible leaks. A facility for studying Dren psykers.
-[] 3: Expand the gene temple on the Forest Moon with facilities dedicated to more specialized Genetor fields of study. Such as botany, chemystry, genetics, biology, and medicine.
-[] 4: Begin construction of heavy chemical industries on Sidonia for the production of prometheum, fertilizers, and chemical weapons.
-[] 5: Order some deceased Tyranid sample from Hive Fleet Behemoth for our Genetors to study.
-[] Outreach: Expand our influence with the Genetor and Organicist Tech-Priests by organizing meetings and collaborative projects with them.

Don't really trust the Space Marine guy, sure it might be a logistics thing but we are a very minor Forge World so his interest is ringing some alarm bells.

Besides that what do you all think about my plan.

You do but that doesn't mean you shouldn't put it out there during the time before the vote and see if anyone would be interested.
Well, first off, you don't really say what your party is, and secondly is there a reason why you're excluding Seekers of the Omnissiah? Studying Dren psykers seems pretty up their alley, and they'll probably cooperate with Manorvitch and Evallin.

The Illuminated Mechanicus deepened their involvement in the Forge's learning apparatus, sharing long-guarded secrets with emerging bright minds, attracting unexpected attention.
Wonder why the space marine chapter wants you to train their marines instead of the "normal" mars

Really makes you think
Hmmmm... Might there be a connection?

-[] Coalition: Yes: Humanists, Cogs of Justice, Sect of the holy lightning inspiration, Holy machine faction. No: Seekers of the Omnissiah
Humanists didn't even submit a plan last turn, how about us "Illuminated Mechanicus" instead?

Maybe they like our outlook on education?

Well, first off, you don't really say what your party is, and secondly is there a reason why you're excluding Seekers of the Omnissiah? Studying Dren psykers seems pretty up their alley, and they'll probably cooperate with Manorvitch and Evallin.
But would they do it in a reasonable manner?
They are excluded by a big part of society for percieved recklessness.

Because I don't agree with the vast majority of what they are trying to push. Besides they want to be friends with the Dren and I want to exploit them to the maximum amount for the benefit of humanity and only humanity.

Also thanks for noticing I didn't put which party I am it is fixed now.
Humanists didn't even submit a plan last turn, how about us "Illuminated Mechanicus" instead?
Kinda hoping they will make a return this turn, but if they won't I will think about it. Gotta weigh my options after all.

Warriors of the Machine God draft:

Cross Training with the space marines and using the battles on the moon to get more skilled

[] Plan: All Skitarii Party
-[] Party Name: Warriors of the Machine God
-[] Party represents: Chaff (Skitarii), martial priests of all stripes (Auxilia Myrmidon, Electro-Priests, etc.), Pro-Democracy everyones
-[] Coalition: Yes, all democratic parties who are willing to advance and strengthen the military

-[] 1.Accept the proposal of the Blood Leopards, in exchange for our Skitarii being able to cross train with these prospective Tech-Marines, improving the strenght and knowledge of both sides. Be open towards the other requests to allow more coalition arrangements as we do not care about them.
-[] 2. Further expand the Skitarii, creating stations where Menials are tested and the greatest of them are allowed the honour of being admitted into the Legions, giving them the chance to further rise in stations to true tech priests should they prove their suitability through service. The selection and augmentation process will include oaths of loyality to the democratic foundation of Sidonia and they will be taught to be proud of being the defender of our great and unique planet.
-[] 3. Develop the theory of the mechanicus further, integrating the superiority of democratic processes, as they allow for cybernetic(hehe) feedback and avoid the foibles of single human errors.
-[] 4. Take advantage of the battlefields on the moon to allow our troops to bloody themselves, granting them their first fights in a relatively safe enviroment and train to improve themselves
-[] 5. Investigate the use of the Dren as War-Servitors or auxiliary forces with the right combination of diplomacy, modification and incentives, hoping to make use of their power as stable psykers who can defend against enemy witches

-[] Outreach: Develop the theory of the mechanicus further, integrating the superiority of democratic processes, as they allow for cybernetic(hehe) feedback and avoid the foibles of single human errors and share it across the military to inspire pride in their role as protectors of democracy

-[] Ideology: Representing many of the Skitarii and military minded Tech-Priests, the Warriors of the Machine God desire to strenghten Sidonias Legions and using them to the Forge-Worlds advantage. Many a favour can be gained by deploying these great Legions to our allies in the Imperium and the Warriors are determined to ensure these favours they are fighting for end up benefitting them too. In the pursuit of these goals they are generally uncaring about the philosophical divides of the Selanian parliament, letting themselves get courted by any side to best achieve their goals, with experienced Masters of War calculating the exact gains made by moving on the political stage just like they would when fighting their enemies. They view the Steel Cult as ideologes who care more about their squabbles with the Radicals than truly doing their best to advance the cause of the military. Additionally they are not interested in supplying imperial troops over mechanicus ones - the Skitarii are superior to the Imperial Guard after all. Following increases in tension among the mechanicus and suspicions of actors preparing for civil war or foreign intervention, the Warriors have increasingly turned to see themselves as defenders of Democracy on Sidonia, seeing it as the superior alternative to orthodox despotism and arguing that it is the true governance system of the cult as practiced on ancient mars. This has drawn in an increasing number of patriotic supporters of democracy, which has mingled with the existing base of the military to create a new strain of proud Tech-Republicans, fearsome warriors on the battlefield and fierce defenders of democracy, daring anyone to oppose the rightful institution of Sidonian democracy

The Lighthouse of Humanity 15.21%
This might be dumb of me to bring attention to, but I only got 1 other person to vote with me and shouldn't have this much representation.

I would really like to see continuing improvements to education personally. that and space expansion will be my two issues i am key voting on.
I am right there with you. A solid foundation is what we need to survive.

First draft. If any prospective LoH members want it revised, just @ me

[]Plan: Cast out the darkness of Ignorance
-[] The Lighthouse of Humanity
-[] party represents: Menials, low level Tech Adepts, Geneators, Artisans
-[] coalition: yes: the Seekers of the Omnissiah, Bearers of the Beacon, Warriors of the Machine God, Luminen of the Forsaken Calculus, Glory of the Omnissiah, Sect of Holy Lighting No:
-[] 1) Expand our navel Shipyards in both size & number of slipways
-[] 2) Expand our Industrial Capacity by expanding our Forges
-[] 3) Expand our solar mining operations by building Refinery stations in the asteroid belt
-[] 4) Expand our Educational apparatus, thus securing more tech acolytes and a more tech literate population
-[] 5) Expand our navel Shipyards in both size & number of slipways
-[] Outreach- The party shall attempt to be the main conduit for work with Tech-Marine Barbus Sychel of the Blood Leopards

Prospective idea for a new party/plan, anyone interested?

[ ]- Burn the Grox- eat the Grox!
-[] Party: Adeptus Sustainus
-[] Party represents: Logi, Artisans
-[] Coalition: Yes to all parties so long as they are not increasing importation or reliance on external entities for resources

-[] 1 Reach out to the Genetors and see if we can apply the "Burning witch root" to domesticated Grox, such that we may bolster our food production and cut down on imports via self-regenerating slabs of meat.
-[] 2: Begin segmenting portions of the 'Forgeworld' as it is into 'Districts.' Each District is to ensure that they are at minimum, capable of powering and feeding their entire District at all times without reliance on other Habblocks, such that in the event of Insurrection/Heresy/Dreno attacks, the Habblock is able to sustain itself should it be isolated, whether from siege or some sort of disaster.
-[] 3: Accept General Gaius Manorvitch's offer in trialing Saturnite weapons, however, ensure that we have tech-priests present to oversea the trial (both to ensure they are used properly and to see how they can be improved), AND, have our tech-priests intricately examine the training batch of Saturnite Weapons BEFORE their arrival, to ensure that they are in perfect working order. As for the 'Blood Leopards Chapter,' Reach out to the 'Warriors of the Machine God' (who focus on military matters), and proceed with their cross-training approach, with the additional addendum that Tech Marines being trained at the Forgeworld are also required to aid in the defense of the Forge City, given that we'll be outfitting them with equipment and letting them use our facilities. As for the Inquisitor, comply with their request, we do not yet have the political capital to contest the demands of an Inquisitor. Rather, the party shall instead supply the Inquisitor with a healthy tithe of captured non-vassalized Dren, with said Dren being both sadated and under guard during the transfer. Ensure that our Tech Priests intricatly examine the saturnite equipment being delivered to the Inquisitor, we can't risk being seen as insufficient in the eyes of an Inquisitor. Should the tithed Dren ever be returned to the Forgeworld by the Inquisitor-- they are to be exterminated such that no knowledge of what lies beyond the Forgeworld reaches their ears.
-[] 4: Begin the construction of several deep-bore mines, and attempt to gain access to any rare metals/minerals that may be deep beneath the surface, such that mineral importation can be reduced
-[] 5: Begin consolidating a series of ledgers to take an accounting of the Forgeworld's production, such that any deficits or drops in production can be preempted before the forge runs into critical shortages of materials.
-[] Outreach: The party will reach out to the Chaff— ie, the Menials, and attempt to provide basic 'rituals' on how to best conserve the resources of the Forgeworld, and thus, reduce importation and make it more sustainable. Such 'rituals' include (but are not limited to) allowing the Machine-spirits to 'rest' when not needed— taking a load off of the powergrids, and 'rituals' regarding the reuse of scrap metal such that nothing the Forgeworld produces goes to waste.

Ideology: Recently formed from a collective of the Logi, the Adeptus Sustainus is focused on the self-sustainability of the Forgeworld first and foremost. Reducing importations, and thus reliance on the benevolence of outside entities is their (current) objective. The Adeptus Sustainus does not particulary care who they work with, Xeno or Imperial, Heretic or Zealot- so long as the Forgeworld continues to grow and becomes self-sustaining.

(NOTE: Item #3 has been switched out; It used to be:
-[] 3: Commission several survey vessels from the newly constructed shipyard so as to scan for/survey vital mineral deposits in the solar system
)

We tried to be nicer to the native and just ended up doing another common form of colonialism where the demands of the colonial power spark endless war among the colonized. Fun times.

[ ] Plan: Grow Baby Grow
-[X] Party Name: Holy Machine Faction
-[X] Coalition: Name: Glory of the Omnissiah Goals: Build up our Forge world to create wonders
--[X] Invited to Join:Illuminated Mechanicus, Sect of Holy Lighting Inspiration, Society of the Living Alloy, Cogs of Justice
--[X] Not: Seekers of the Omnissiah
-[X] 1: Cooperate with General Gaius Manorvitch of Valhalla, Tech-Marine Barbus Sychel of the Blood Leopards, and Inquisitor Evallin of Ordo Xenos. None of the requests are from traitors nor do they interfere with growth of the Forge.
-[X] 2: Begin construction of a new factorium to increase the Saturnite supply. We are the only producers and now have weapons, initial orders, and space industry in place, it is important we have a good supply ready.
-[X] 3: Expand the space dock so more manufacturing can be done and the mining we do in space can also be processed there.
-[X] 4: Establish a second Forge City on Sidonia.
-[X] 5: Begin consolidating a series of ledgers to take an accounting of the Forgeworld's production, such that any deficits or drops in production can be preempted before the forge runs into critical shortages of materials.
-[X] Outreach: Gather funds to create a party owned mining vessel that will slowly product resources. We will use it as the core of our space forces to build out own orbital station that will be the home base of our faction.

right now, you have 2 Expand our shipyards, switching the 5 to be Increasing the average literacy rate of menials, to allow the readjusting of Magos and tech priests to the presuit of knowledge.
else then that, that covers most anything. Can i convince you to switch 4 and 2?

In all honesty… (and yes, I know this would be morally bad) it's probably in our best interest to perpetuate and prolong the conflict (for the purposes of training troops), as @NSchwerte suggested in their plan, cause right now… we're really lacking when it comes to any sort of military and we're beginning to attract outside attention.

Now they are weaker than ever before, we must go further
If we go further, however, and actively, actively start trying to remove the non-vassalized Dren Tribes, we may lose access to what is essentially a free training ground… but we could probably get rid of most of the ones immediately surrounding the Forge.

Prospective idea for a new party/plan, anyone interested?
Sounds cool, another interesting coalition partner.

What do you think about eating Dren?
Fresh dead Dren seem to be a very renewable resource.
And once the black lab is build I'd like to start a facility to produce Dren for it. At a 1 Psyker in 100 Dren rate that would still produce a bunch of not-needed Dren.

this is called warhammer let some war happen

Hmm… I find this argument strangely compelling

What do you think about eating Dren?

Hmm... quite the proposition you got there. I mean... so long as they aren't exterminated and the number being culled (for food) remains beneath the Dren's Birth Rate, I'd say 'sure.' The only issue really (beyond the morals of consuming sapient creatures, but I'm not taking those into account) being that we may alienate the vassalized Dren Tribes by consuming their brethren... but then again, maybe they'll be cowed at such a sight. So long as the quantity of the Dren remains stable, such that it is sustainable, I don't see this as an issue.

Yeah, I was hoping to massively expand our ship building capabilities because it's such a an important industry, but if it's too much I'll change it.

switching the 5 to be Increasing the average literacy rate of menials, to allow the readjusting of Magos and tech priests to the presuit of knowledge.
