Whichever interpretation makes it okay for you to pay us.
Oh, you want something to boo, boo at Bandai. After the end of Witch from Mercury, they tried to push whole "their relationship is up to interpretation".
The issue with that interpretation is that would make Utena not yuri. That depends how we define yuri.
Is yuri a story where prime focus is relationship between two females? Then no, it isn't. The focus of the series is very much on found family dynamic and comedy, not in personal relationship of main cast.
Tohru is pretty obviously in love with Kobayashi. Elma loves both Tohru and Kobayashi. Tohru also very much cares about Elma, despite her insistence of other wise(FFS, she crashed her wedding). Key here is that Kobayashi herself is not quite sure where she lands. She does care for Tohru, and does want her in her life, but she is not sure if she can respond in the same feelings that Tohru has. Oh she does eventually admit she does love Tohru, but well.. it's not quite the same as with Tohru, and it doesn't really change anything between two.
I doubt we will ever get proper confession or confirmation on Kobayashis stance, since the series doesn't really focus on romance.
IE Aegosexual, Attraction without Drive. It's also a spectrum like any others. With some, well, if you ask they might state a preference, but not really feel any drive to go out and pursue a sexual or romantic relationship.
That depends how we define yuri.

And here I thought I'd never get a physical copy of the series which wasn't a bootleg. Nice.Discotek has licensed the Lyrical Nanoha TV series
Discotek Just Announced A Bunch Of New Anime Remasters
Discotek is well known for its anime remasters and re-releases, and it's stepping up the game with its next batch of releases.www.yahoo.com
Here's hoping they get to StrikerS, which has never had a NA release....
Considering that it is Discotek, they probably will unless those episodes have completely vanished from existence.
Kibou no Chikara ~Otona Pretty Cure '23~ or Power of Hope ~Precure Full Bloom~, a spin-off/sequel of the Yes 5 and Splash Star series just released its third episode which had an interesting surprise during it.
Kurumi pretty much confessed to Karen that she loves her. No beating around the bush, no using metaphors, Kurumi confessed. She did have to be three sheets to the wind drunk to say it, and Karen didn't give an answer, but we can say that there is a Lesbian Pretty Cure couple that is text and not subtext.
I haven't seen any part of that series yet, but I do find that a little interesting.
In both Precure 5 and GoGo, Kurumi generally didn't have much interaction with Karen outside of generic "group interacts with each other". The character she interacted with the most is Nozomi, which also doesn't really say much due to Nozomi being the lead character, and Kurumi/Milk having a self-professed rivalry with her.
I'm a little curious why Kurumi fell in love with Karen, and if it was based on something that was in the original YPC5/YPC5G.
Also I'm a little amused that this series acknowledges how the characters age with the passing of time, when the original Yes Precure 5 and GoGo very carefully did not mention why everyone remained the same age and in the same school despite a year passing between series, and Komachi and Karen supposedly being in their last year of middle school at the time of the first season.
and of course, theres backlash about this from idiots that don't seem to be able to comprehend that the entire Yuri genre is about homosexuality.I was really impressed they included a serious discussion like this in a mostly comic series

This episode had a pretty long post-credits scene. Nothing crucial, just Misha and then Claire finding out about Rae's new pet.I'm in Love With the Villainess has it's first battle. Was well animated too.
Stardust? Yeah, he's not really making friends.
Hey, Crunchyroll posted it. Cool.

Well, this is Crunchyroll's YouTube account, so there are probably a lot of Shield Hero fans following it that are upset at seeing a female character who isn't enslaved.and of course, theres backlash about this from idiots that don't seem to be able to comprehend that the entire Yuri genre is about homosexuality.
