Lesbian and Yuri Anime/TV/Novel/General Discussion Thread

I've recently seen a Yuri manga called Even Though We're Adults. The premise for it isn't novel and is even a bit dubious, but this is by the writer behind Wandering Son. So I'm willing to give the first volume a try.

It's that. The reason I say it seems possibly dubious is that one of the pair is married. That's right there in the summary of the first volume. So it seems that's going to be a continuous part of the story.

My position is that, if this were any other writer, I'd not bother with this work. But she has enough good will from her other work for me to trust her not to have this work be unsatisfying/unpleasant.

I've sped through Even Though We're Adults (by my reading standards). I'm liking it so far and it feels like it'll avoid anything iffy, instead having decently handled conflict. But I won't be going on to volume 2 for a while. I already have too much manga (mostly Yuri) to get around to reading.

I'm going to try out the Executioner and her way of life light novel. I'm after more to read in terms of books, the price is low and I keep being reminded of it thanks to the approaching anime. So I have the first volume now

That feeling when you've read so much yuri manga that you can't remember if you've read this one....

(Double-checking, it turns out that I have.)

Executioner is out in Japan on April 1st.

A Practical Guide to Evil has wrapped up. While Catherine Foundling's sexuality isn't exactly the major issue of the story, she also makes no bones about her preferences.
