Lesbian and Yuri Anime/TV/Novel/General Discussion Thread

My computer died recently so all my bookmarks have evaporated, but here's what I remember off the top of my head;
Kiss It Goodbye is good, and is also in the process of wrapping up now.
Suzuhara is A Demon is pretty good, though it's fairly slow paced and still updating.
I'm personally not a fan of Not so Shoujo, but that's my my own opinion so Id definitely give it a try anyway.
I haven't read Among Us (Yes, I know) but it comes highly recommended.
Interesting, say what's the chances of them getting a book release?

E1 - The Executioner

Mitsuki's dreams come true when he is isekai'd to another, magical world! Once he meets the kindly priestess Menou, his grand adventure is sure to begin... right?

Out today. Looks good, the adaption follows the manga, liking it so far....

Sentai licensed it!

Sentai Snaps Up “The Executioner and Her Way of Life”

Sentai has acquired exclusive rights to and will stream The Executioner and Her Way of Life anime exclusively on HIDIVE during the Spring 2022 simulcast anime season.

Watching the first episode and not gonna lie, the 'Fantasy Worlders preemptively kill Isekai MC's because they're usually bound to go mad with absurdly OP powers' premise is more interesting to me then the yuri which is just a bonus.

Ok, this sounds hilarious in a morbid, post-modern kind of way. Gotta check it out one of these days.

Have read Executioner manga, then the novels, then watch the anime, and it's great. Great stuff. The worldbuilding is pretty good and intriguing, the relationship between casts are messed-up and nice to read, and the pace is rather brisk.

I didn't really like the manga myself as it tried too hard to get edgy and missed the good points of a few characters in doing so, which lessens the impact of what happens. The anime's great tho.

I read a chunk of the manga and it just seemed okay, but maybe the other versions are better. Mind you, 'okay' is better than a lot of series I've tried.

The author is nice enough to tell you what the series actually about within the first volume of novel, or roughly the entirety of scanlated manga so far. So if you read them and you like it, expect something in that direction.

Watched Executioner episode 2. Again, looking pretty good... seeing Akari's power at work was cool. And Momo's jealousy is pretty funny.

I've decided to avoid watching the Executioner anime, simply because I'm reading the light novel. Normally, I rarely care much about spoilers, but I'm using Executioner for a personal goal related to reading. So I don't want to kill my motivation to read the book. At there's still the opening song by Mili for me to enjoy for now.

I have to say, just from the first two episodes I get a pretty cosmic horror type vibe from the way those powers work.

I mean, Akari, a girl with a time power that is at risk of going out of control is talking about fated encounters and how time stopped for her when nothing was going on.

Then you have the glimpses of Menou's dreams and such. This feels a lot like there could be acausal time-fuckery happening here. Did a hypothetical future-Akari do something with the more-developed power?

And I can see Akari's power going multiple ways in the future as well, assuming she doesn't get killed in episode 3 and we get to watch Menou break down from her first kill after prolonged friendly contact.

Yeah, second eps is mostly setup. I think we're gonna enter the story in earnest by next episode. And judging from OP (and cast list), seems they gonna adapt the first two volumes, so the pace should be pretty brisk.
