Spellcraft is working with magic spells that Shirou used in his life, which is the current spells we know right now like Projection, Structural Analysis and Reinforcement magic.

Semblance is that one special ability that makes a Hunter unique. Such as Yang being able to hit harder the more she gets hurt. Blake being able to create clones. Velvet being able to copy and recreate weapons as holograms along with using them with the same skill as the original owner depending how many pictures she's taken of that weapon, etc... Our semblance in this case may allow us to use Unlimited Blades Work or something. Besides that we haven't focused any actions on our semblance yet so now looks like a good time as any to see if we can learn anything more about it.

Regardless this works to balance our Piety options. Right now we can focus on Aura and semblance training here and next turn we can focus on Aura and spellcraft. Just trying to balance things here.

I think it's still a bit early to try working on our semblance.

We need to take handyman this time around. It gives us all the same skill bonuses as cooking and gives us the chance to learn Alteration, a key skill we need for our full potential. Once we get it we can do other things as we can train it with our other spells, but we need to get it ASAP if we want to level it.

@Warhawk_1 First of all, thanks for that easy to understand list! :D

Secondly, I was concerned since 'magic' seems to work a bit differently on Remnant than it does in Nasuverse canon. Everyone being able to use Aura and Dust with proper training, for instance. Not to mention the magic circles and such that Weiss, Cinder and Ms. Goodwitch used seemed more like the Age of Gods Magic that Medea of Colchis tossed around.

Oh yeah, and then there is Kanshou and Bakuya... could Jaune/Shirou have traced them if he hadn't seen them with his own eyes first, or were they traced purely from his past life memory?

What's going on with other people seems to kind of be up in the air.

That said, I have to assume that overall it's favorable because it's implied that Alaya is supplying more power per capita / Gaia is more focused on attacking through Grimm than direct countering Alaya power.

It would be an interesting question as to whether UBW has unexpected effects on any aura-sensitive.

  • Aura/Semblances are based on the power of the soul
  • UBW / Reality Marble is the most extreme version possible of soul manifestation
  • If UBW was powerful enough to make a soul create its own world in Shirou's life, what happens effect-wise if Jaune pulls it out in Remnant.
