Hantei Amira would be among the third or fourth ranked possible heirs, based on age alone. Not much is known about her; the daughter of the Scion of Heaven and a member of the Saamrajya monarchies and diplomat to the Emerald Lands, she spent most of her life in the personal holdings of the Emperor, as expected of a child that had not been officially introduced to court. This changed when the princess started suffering from some unknown ailment, that led to her being sent to the custody - of all people - of the Moth Clan. The reason why - or that it had happened - is known only to a select few.
Princess Amira was to be introduced to the Imperial Court last Winter, but the Scion of Heaven decided against it, for reasons known only for him. As such, Amira was with the Moth when the Great Hail destroyed the clan.
If there were any survivors, they would have made the safety of the princess a priority. However, even the death of Amira would need to be confirmed. Your Clan Champion has shared much information about what he knows about Amira, but you don't know what Bayushi Shoju thinks.
But you can make an educated guess.
Hantei Amira is an unknown, and that makes her a threat. Not even Shoju knows what exactly made the princess become a ward of the Moth. Furthermore, she should have been accepted as an adult last Spring; why was her introduction delayed? If Amira is an embarrassment, she will be the third prominent failscion of the Hantei line, shaking confidence on the Throne; if she is a remarkable young woman, she may outshine her older siblings, casting further shadows over what already looks to be a shaky succession.
It may be kinder for her to have died back then. Still, her Fate is your Duty.
Love.
As a proper noble of the Bayushi, romance was a crucial part of your education; indulging in it and bragging about the turmoil under the watchful gaze of your mentors was just another of the trials of growing up.
Still, it was another arrow in your quiver; a way to spend the four months of Winter and an alternative to more dangerous boredom or - Fortunes save us - friendship.
But you can't help but wonder about love. True love whatever that means, something sincere, the possibility of vulnerability. Abandoning your veils and taking the road was as exciting and terrifying - and in no small part because you would be putting yourself out in the world. If someone likes you, if someone - do you dare to think it? - loves you, they will truly do.
This is a hidden blessing; you will open your heart to the world in ways you never imagined possible. You have made love-seeking your Desire.
Scorpion orthodoxy may seem cold, calculating and unpredictable; in truth it is about the value of bonds and their preservations. Scorpions do what they do because of what they believe we owe to each other - to kin, to family, to friends, to lieges, to spirits and Heaven, to the Throne. Duty, in all the forms it manifests, is crucial to the Scorpion way of life. Of course, like in every clan, its nobility chaffs under the expectations and there are people that embrace heterodoxy. How do you feel about your clan, even after they "cast you" away?
[] [Clan Relationship] I am still well respected among the Clan; my kin and family still see me as a Scorpion, even after the unfortunate circumstances.
[] [Clan Relationship] I am truly a ronin, not only in appearances. I started following my own path even before I left the Scorpion, straining the relationship with my community. If I am to ever come back, I will have to prove myself yet again. I tested their patience by (pick 1 Strain options)…

[] [Clan Tenets] My belief in Duty and Loyalty in all its forms has only been reinforced by my trials. This gives me strength in this darkest hour.
[] [Clan Tenets] I cannot be the paragon of the Scorpion I am asked to be (Pick 1 Heterodoxy option).
-[] [Heterodoxy] On the road, I have become used to selling my Loyalty and sword.
-[] [Heterodoxy] I was not above working with the horses before and I'm not above working alongside peasants now.
-[] [Heterodoxy] I was wary about poisons and my dogmatic peers, so I learned to counter them.
-[] [Heterodoxy] We lived by the shore of the River of Gold, so I learned how to swim and sail.
-[] [Heterodoxy] I think the Clan still holds too many things sacred. I am too ruthless even for my peers.
-[] [Heterodoxy] My family bred horses, but we are also amazing riders.
