    • [X] Attack Dorothy while she and White Rabbit are in pain and are distracted. Might as well take advantage of this moment of weakness... you can't afford to let Dorothy gain the upper hand over you again.
    -[X] When She Smiles has a blade swing it at White Rabbit's other knee so that she can't chase us.
    - [X] Swap her density with that of the street. Stop her in place, and sink her into that softened ground.
    -[X] Grab more pencils from your bag and Increase their density before throwing them at Dorothy.

    Well, it was better late than never. Dorothy was writhing in pain along with White Rabbit. It confirmed that a Stand and it's master was connected, which is impressive and frightening you at the same time. Considering that you wanted to also try out your new Stand as well, your shoulder could wait. It was time to dish back some payback before things got out of hand.

    "Brat, you've pissed off the wrong chick!" It was quite easy, everything being mental and all. Although it creeps you out a bit, considering you didn't really have to direct When She Shines with verbal commands and the like. But then again, it made things easier. You didn't have to put much effort into fighting, which was good, considering that your shoulder was pretty fucked up at this point.

    When She Shine's blade made contact with White Rabbit's knee, a pained scream from both Stand and user echoed throughout the air. Good thing they were so wrapped up within the fact that the knee got damaged that you had the ability to slice into the other. The sensation felt quite stunning, to be honest. It was as if you had your own personal guardian who had such strange powers. Not that you didn't mind, anyways.

    "Fucking... hell..." Dorothy's voice must have gone hoarse at this point, it had to. She was quite the screamer. White Rabbit had collapsed onto it's knees, blood streaming from two different kind of wounds - a puncture wound and a large gash.

    Standing back, you wondered something. "Oh yeah? Didn't you say that it was going to explode, Dorothy, your thread-bomb? Or did you just switch it off to attempt to save yourself?"

    "Shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up! I haven't lost yet, I haven't...!!"

    Uh oh, it seemed like this had pissed Dorothy off more than anything. What seemed to be a numerous amount of threads began attempting to stitch up the wounds, almost as if she was sewing her Stand back together. From the corner of your eye, you could see threads planting themselves into the ground. Was she attempting to force her own Stand back into a fighting condition?

    If that was the case, you had to stop her before that even happened. "Sorry! I don't approve of you getting up right now!"

    Good thing that When She Shine had been creating more blue areas, and it happened that the ground Dorothy and White Rabbit were under were so happened to be picked. It intersected with a golden light, too... so... All that needs to happen was a bit of a property change here. The ground slowly softened up, as you had swapped the density of Dorothy with the street.

    It wouldn't last long though. You felt the mental strain. The pencils were simple with the pins because you didn't want to go and explain to doctors or to Josuke of how your shoulder got this fucked up or bring Dorothy to where they were.

    The chaos gave you enough time to run to your bag and search through it in a frenzy to find more pencils. God, your mom was going to kill you. Coming up with a solution though, you opted that you wouldn't throw them all, rather just throw about six of them - you didn't want to kill her. You just wanted to stop her from going after more innocents.

    "You'll feel a sharp prick, Dorothy!" You had increased the density within your pencils. This power your Stand had been quite useful so far. Although you wish your shoulder could be healed instead of looking so screwed up. On instinct, you got When She Shines to take the pencils to hurl at Dorothy, which struck the lower torso and torso area, however not high enough.

    To most ordinary people, they would see Dorothy floating in the air, not ever realizing that a Stand was stuck in the ground. Of course, that would turn back to normal quite soon. Although considering how injured she was, you doubted that she would make any moves to attack any further. Although it gave you a chance to look for more things to change density. To your surprise it seemed that switching was quite easy.

    The harder part was maintaining depending on the current state that you were in.

    It seemed that there was a limit to how much damage you could take. You were lucky that When She Shines hadn't gotten hit by any attacks. That would be speaking too soon, considering that you were already feeling worn down.

    "You're absolutely awful, Maki Kunikida...!!" Dorothy must have been trying her hardest to free her Stand, though the more she struggled, the more it weighed them down, considering you switched Dorothy's density with the road.

    "Wait, how do you know my name?!" You were in disbelief. You had thought that there weren't any other Stand users in town besides Josuke, Jotaro, and Anjuro - well, to be honest, now you could include yourself onto the list. The fact that alarmed you more is that the girl who was hunting you knew your name. That sent off quite a few red flags right there. How did she know about something like that?

    "I'll answer you with a question, why should I tell you? You don't deserve the right to know, as far as I'm like, concerned!"

    "Tell me, goddamn it! I'm winning right now, I have to right to know why the fuck you are attacking me, you psycho rabbit bitch!"

    "Oh, I'll take that to my grave, thank you very much! After all, if I'm going down, I'll take you with me, too!!"

    "Tch... this is seriously annoying..."

    She was trying to kill you, why should you expect any answers from her, anyways? This seemed more to be like benefiting herself, if anything. She talked about superiors, so there must be somebody who was above her. If this was the caliber of Stand user they were sending, hell, you had a feeling that things would only get rougher from here. Not to mention the fact that Dorothy still seemed to be not going down without a fight. Plus you saw your pencils were slipping out of the wound. Even though you had increased their density, it seemed that anything you did could be easily undone if you were exhausted enough.

    Your ears pricked though, you thought you heard your name being called. You whipped your head around instantly. It was Josuke and Koichi. What the fuck were they doing here? Did they decide on a whim to check on you? Did they had business in this direction? You wanted to tell them to get away, that you were fighting a Stand user. This was especially to Koichi because he couldn't see the shit you and Josuke saw!

    While you weren't paying attention, however, threads shot straight into the ground where both Dorothy and the White Rabbit were sinking into.

    Dorothy had a menacing grin plastered on a face. "You're a fool, you know, Maki-chaaaaaaan... seriously, for a new Stand user, you completely and absolutely suck! Sure, I'll give you credit where it's due, you injured me pretty badly. You failed to see my trap, too! You gave me enough of a mental image when you threw those pins... so I was waiting for you to do something like this! Haha, game over, I win! And plus, there's two threads! Double the pain~"

    It was a surprise that Dorothy's threads were strong enough to go into the ground. Then again, what tricks didn't that bunny hoodie girl up her sleeve? She must have been quite the advanced Stand user to do a trick like that...

    She's digging through the ground with those pins! Our best bet is to throw off her aim somehow. We need some sort of reflective surface to blind her, although getting Dorothy's attention isn't all that difficult.

    Maybe we can dig up the ground or something? Although that would leave us wide open...

    Wait a minute. Dorothy hasn't explicitly stated she's aiming for Josuke and Koichi. In fact, this line in bold:

    implies that Dorothy is aiming for us and might already have two pins attached to us or primed to shoot out of the ground. I think we need to move.

    Ugh! Stand battles are so hard to plan!
     
    Well it is good to think it over! Especially considering Maki is already injured. So there is that. Plus Dorothy will not go down without a fight. :V

    As QM, I won't kill Maki within the first real fight she has, as one big important thing to note.

    Although it doesn't mean you shouldn't be on pins and needles when it comes to fighting Dorothy... :V

    So this is a pretty cool quest so far!

    @Shiranui I have some questions if you don't mind.

    According to the profile we can swap properties... how crazy can we get with it? Can our stand affect us? For example could we swap our weight to make ourselves lighter and be able to make super jumps? Or maybe we swap the 'toughness' of metal with the 'toughness' of our clothes for some psuedo armor?

    We would stand a better chance of helping one person instead of two. Since Josuke is the medic, keeping him alive is our top priority. Besides, just because Maki doesn't know that Crazy Diamond doesn't work on Josuke doesn't mean I have to pretend to not know that.
     
    @Knight-Radiant - Yes the Stand can effect you. However the limits are time of the switch being active, particularly being injured, and if you switch a lot, Maki will have difficulty remembering what she switches. So keep that in mind.

    @ChildishChimera - Yes, you can. But remember, Maki is also injured. The effects are going to wear off by this next post for the stuff that already previously happened. Just to let you keep that in mind.

    Considering the fact that you had no clue what Dorothy was up to, you knew that if you didn't get Josuke away from her, there would be more harm than good. As much as your shoulder still stung, you had to run. It was then that you noticed that Dorothy was slipping out of the property switches. So you knew there was no way that you would have enough time to bind her back up.

    Goddamn it. Could your situation get anymore screwed...?

    Not to mention that you were abandoning Koichi to chance if the thread hit him or not. You would have to apologize to him later... If the thread didn't get to him first. Dorothy really brought on the pressure. Although considering her childish behavior and the lack of decency, you wondered if she really was stable enough to make any more moves. Even though White Rabbit was stitching up its wounds, it didn't mean the same go for Dorothy.

    Despite great power, there were limits. As much as Dorothy had hers, you had your own. You were lucky that your shoulder was the only part of your body damaged. You feared that if you didn't had your Stand awaken when you did, you would have been dead. No doubt about it in your mind.

    The threads were coming up to the surface. Were they that strong that they could extend so far...?! Your nerves were shot. It looked to be extending quite far, but you didn't know how far... Then again, it appeared that she was more of a far-ranged Stand user than a close-ranged one. You had been running for a bit and your heart felt like it was going to burst from the pressure of the situation. What else could you do but keep on running? If you stopped now, you were sure that Josuke and Koichi would head into the crossfires.

    You had to stop in the middle to catch your breath. You felt like you were going to vomit. Saliva and sweat made for a nasty combination, your frame shuddering from the pressure. In the moment that you were running away, you hazily recalled something from your books regarding about medicine. That if a person lost more about five or six pints of blood, it resulted in death. You knew you couldn't be that close to a dire situation like that, although you were positive that you lost nearly two pints of your goddamn blood.

    A dizzy spell had begun to set in. It was different for every person, yet for you it reared it's ugly head sooner than you thought possible. Yet you couldn't stop here. If you did, Dorothy would certainly have her way with you, and that certainly wasn't what you have in mind.

    Suddenly one of the threads from underground had shot out, not at Koichi as you originally thought, but at your leg, slicing into your flesh. Your eyes bugged out at the sight of a lumbering White Rabbit coming forward, with Dorothy weakly riding on it. Blood literally had caked her legs, at least as far as you can tell from your position. The thread was burrowing into your leg. If you couldn't make it in time, then there was one thing you could do.

    "Josuke! Move! There's a thread... coming after you...!" You shouted as loud as you could, your throat growing hot and irritated from all the physical exertion that you had forced yourself through.

    The thread had shot out, Dorothy had must have lost it when you warned Josuke, as Josuke had side-stepped, and was only lucky that he got a cut on his cheek. "What the... thread...?! Another Stand user is here already?"

    "Gaaaaaah! No fair, no fair!" Dorothy's voice could be heard off in the distance. You could barely hear it though. You were focused more on your pain rather than her words. "You ruin all of my fun! I'll kill you for that, you know! I'll..."

    Having collapsed suddenly on the road as you did, Koichi screamed. "Maki!" He picked up his pace. It was a lucky thing that you were already at the halfway point before this had happened, making Koichi's arrival a much desired relief. "Your right leg... and your left shoulder... hang in there, just stay awake."

    Joining the pair of you, quite quickly, you had to wonder why Dorothy hadn't stopped them. Did something happen? Your brain felt fuzzy. Josuke had examined the wounds. "It's a wonder you lasted long as you did. If you hadn't moved, you would have been toasted. Hang on. Let me take care of you." You thought he said some other things but they were currently in one ear, out the other.

    After your wounds were taken care of, you were able to move, although your shoulder and leg were sore. It had left you still amazed that Josuke's Stand and his power was able to heal you from the wounds you had. You highly doubt though that they would be grievous enough to not fix. Well, considering that he punched through a woman and a guy, fixed them and left the knife in the man's stomach.

    Josuke helped you up from your position on the ground. Holding his hand made things very awkward though and as soon as you got up after being helped, you released his hand. A slight blush was on your face as your hands touched and Josuke was blushing too, what it looked like.

    "Thanks, Josuke... I really appreciate that." You were still trying to calm down from that intense battle that you had with Dorothy. Speaking of her... "Where is Dorothy? I thought she was still here."

    "Your welcome. Oh? That bunny hoodie chick riding that huge rabbit-like Stand? ...She's gone, now." Josuke remarked with a sigh. He must have been irritated, surely. "Probably realized that against two Stand users in her current state would be a disadvantage. She might have left while I was healing you."

    Koichi took a look around. It looked completely normal now. "Great... This gets weirder and weirder. Are you two really sure that you can handle this?"

    "Well, there's no way we can turn back now. Especially considering I have a Stand now..." You mentioned, much to the surprise of both Josuke and Koichi. Even though it was a really eventful day, you just had to show off a little. C'mon, you deserved to have bragging rights.

    "That's great, Maki! At least now you can protect yourself. I'd say I kinda wanna see it now... never mind, we can do that later. You probably had a long day." Josuke mused while he had started to head off on ahead. "Besides, I'm meeting up with Jotaro tonight about the whole Aqua Necklace business. Maki, you planning to come?"

    "Yeah, I'll come to the meeting. Battle strategy and the like, I'm guessing for Aqua Necklace. Well then I can show off my Stand and be of use in assisting you two in dealing with him! Hopefully he'll acknowledge me." You puffed out your chest and then considered that since it was a meeting, you might not have enough time to do that.

    Koichi blinked. "Aqua Necklace? I mean, you were both shouting at a sewer hole... " He must have recalled slightly about the event prior when it came to the convenience store. You wouldn't blame him if he thought that you and Josuke were off your rocker for that one, though. "I guess I'd only understand if I had a Stand of my own. I'd probably never get it, though, knowing me..."

    When push came to shove though, you didn't want to have him involved any further in something so dangerous as Stands. Despite considering the fact that you were friends, it sounded contradictory anyways. The more he associated with you and Josuke, the more in danger he would be. Besides, you liked Koichi. As a friend. Very much as a friend. The same goes for Josuke. You still want to know more about them and get along with them. Considering the fact that Koichi wished he knew what both you and Josuke were talking about, you wondered if he felt left out, since two of his friends were able to witness such bizarre events. It was something you pushed out of your mind though, when your friends called for you.

    You still had a bad feeling in the pit of your stomach though. Something you couldn't just shake. Anjuro was one thing, yes. Dorothy was another. She was a troubling existence, considering she knew a lot of things about you that you didn't. Your feelings were a mixed bag at this juncture. You weren't sure what to make of any of this, to be quite sincere.

    Free time. You have a well-deserved break from the chaos. It is still quite a bit before evening. What do you want to do? Pick out a person to go with or go on your own. Then pick one sub-option for it.

    [] Hang out with Josuke.
    --[] Take a nice stroll with Josuke around the area. It'll give you time to bond and chat about various subjects.
    --[] Train with your Stands. Could be taxing on you later on in the day, but you can potentially learn new skills from it.
    --[] Play video games at Josuke's place. He did say he had a bit of a collection, after all... (Meeting will happen straight afterwards.)
    --[] Write-in. What do you want to do with Josuke?

    [] Hang out with Koichi.
    --[] Walk around the town with Koichi. You have a few things to talk to him about. Particularly about in regards to Stands...
