Yup, pretty much. Votes are still open by the way, so if y'all want to submit in your votes, go ahead and do so~ I just posted up the omake as establishing a few things here and there.

[x] Josuke's right. There's no reason to worry about an abandoned house... and plus, you had a creepy feeling from it. (+1 Josuke, +0 Koichi, +0 ???).

[X] You don't want to pick sides on this one. You have your own point of view. And you don't care what Josuke or Koichi think about a stupid house. (+0 Josuke, +0 Koichi, +1 ???).

Holy shit, nui! Maki's going to go nuts when she heards about this.

Umineko Truth System
This is just another mechanic I wanna toss in. There's already a few mysteries floating about, so I'm going to give you all a chance to theorize, present the truths and see what you come up with. LoreOfClarke's explanation was pretty good so it helps out a ton.

Meaning Umineko Truth System is activated. I shall explain this.

As a player, you are only allowed to write in blue text, since you don't know whether or not what I am saying is going to be the truth, misleading, or just outright false due to the fact that you can only see certain things from player perspective.

Blue truth is this shade. It is the basis of your ideas. After a while you will form paths that you think this story is following. Naturally, everyone is different, so different conclusions are possible. Some could match yours, while others go on a different path to rejoin later, creating a sort of web. There is a lot of possible blue sentences that can be created, so it's possible that some or all of them may be false. However this structure will help with mystery portions better and feel more organic.

An example of this would be if, per se, "It is possible that more Stand users will awaken."

Red truth is this shade. This can be used by anyone who has GM knowledge about specific parts of the setting, such as people who are helping plan out the story, or who are given hints to character motivations. The red text is ALWAYS true, it is fundamentally rules out things like character mis-understandings and makes things clearer. However, it does pose risks of ruling out potential plot twists in the future.

An example of this would be, "If there are less Stand users that awakens." This potentially could cut out twists like there could actually be less and they were being eliminated one by one. Or that there is actually more of them coming out and there is a potential future where there are many who carry Stands. Also mentioning since I'm encouraging Umineko style text, I'm probably going to play around with you when it comes to these things to keep you on your twos. The red text example, however, will not rule out other potential options, either.

Gold truth is this shade. Gold text is only used for the fundamental details which drive the whole plot of the story. Vital key plot points will be described under this color. I might have GM helpers who know parts of these truths. Although I, the GM, know all the details of the story to the plot that I know what is vital to the setting, and so only the GM can speak in gold.

Pretty much this is what we're going for when it comes to forming things for mysteries. Gives it a bit more organic feel to the mysteries. With that, feel free to start using the truths and see where we go with it. I'll probably be the one that collects the truths and make sure that there is a point where we establish a list of truths going on in the Quest.

Request is granted. Instead of closing it right away after that mechanics post, I want to see if any more votes pour in. I like to not get too hasty in closing votes, because I always feel I close them up too fast, which I have to admit, might be a flaw of mine as a QM, haha.

Voting shall close in twenty minutes.

But yes, the Umineko Truth System is set in place so it spices it up. I bet you all didn't see that coming-- no wait, I bet you already did. I shouldn't say bet when I know for a fact that you all know. :V

Alright, closin' up the votes here! Be prepared, this is going to be really fun, heheheh~

...And to nearly forget the Koichi votes! I am such a fool! Forgive me for that.

The owner of Speed of Love is officially dead in the water once Maki hears about this.

VS Nijimura Brothers Part 1
[X] You don't want to pick sides on this one. You have your own point of view. And you don't care what Josuke or Koichi think about a stupid house. (+0 Josuke, +0 Koichi, +1 ???).

What did a house matter to you? Nothing, really. In fact, you could care less about the house. Josuke and Koichi just worrying over it had bugged you. Although you planned to walk ahead, you noticed that Koichi had approached the gate willingly, looking at it. What was he doing? Did he honestly think investigating an abandoned house was a really good idea? You had to question your friends and their logic sometimes.

Before you could step any farther away, you heard a loud rasping cry. Whipping your head, you saw a guy who was of an above-average height and medium to athletic build, who had literally slammed the gate on Koichi. Two fine lines were across his face, almost a semicircle pattern passing the inner corners of his eyes. Unlike Josuke's pompadour, this guy's pompadour was much smaller, and it appeared the sides were lighter and combed back with care.

His face wasn't the only feature you focused on, either. He too, had a dark modified Japanese school uniform, with a double-breasted jacket. And if you thought Josuke had decorations with all things metallic, apparently he wasn't the only one. He had metallic, golden emblems that had a yen sign on the right collar and a dollar sign on his left. A larger dollar sign was on the middle of his chest, too.

If anything, though, you shook your head. Why were you focusing on fashion!? This guy was hurting Koichi!

"Don't you have common sense, brat? Don't trespass other people's houses. It's rude." The stranger snapped.

You took a step forward. "Look. I understand why you are upset, but I don't think it allows you to--"

Straight from above, an arrow flew out of nowhere and struck straight into Koichi's neck. If you and Josuke weren't freaking the fuck out, who would? Your eyes were drawn to the upper floor. Wait... Anjuro's story... and the fact that the Bow user had to be in Morioh... You looked over at Josuke, and he looked back at you. Goddamn it. Of course Koichi had to trigger the one thing that would make this encounter possible.

"Big brother! What gives! I got it, and you... ughhhh, that's so annoying, you know!"

"Okuyasu. The pair that is with him is Josuke Higashikata and Maki Kunikida. I thought he, there, had the potential. Apparently not, considering he got hurt by the Arrow instead... Defeat them with The Hand. It is your finest work. Even I fear it." The shadowy figure remarked, the one who had caused Anjuro to awaken.

Good thing that Okuyasu was more focused on his older brother rather than those who were in attendance. This allowed you two the chance to get behind Okuyasu and shove him out of the way. Looking at him, and from your basic knowledge of medicine, it seemed that he was still alive. As long as nobody removed the "plug" that was the arrow, Koichi would be fine. Although it would be better to get it out right now.

"...I'll heal him. Keep me covered, got it?" Josuke said, as he cracked his knuckles.

"Got it." You weren't going to hesitate if Okuyasu did come after the pair of you.

"You are letting them do what they want, little brother. Don't stand for this, Okuyasu. If you fail..."

"R-Right! I won't! I'll take care of it right now...!!"

Seeing Okuyasu rush at you and Josuke, your Stands came forth and catch The Hand's arms. However, you had a bad feeling in regards to The Hand. It was just odd... for one thing, it didn't appear to have a physical weapon... yet it wasn't like you could underestimate a Stand like that. After all, appearances could be deceiving. That was just how you viewed it from your point of view.

Josuke instinctively had Crazy Diamond release the right arm. "Something's not right about The Hand's right arm... it's like it has an ability..." He then had noticed that the gate had been cut. That was just way too concidental, too. If that had to involve Okuyasu's Stand... then perhaps it seemed it was time to question him.

"Hey. Can you erase space with your Stand? It's really unexpected. I thought yours was just a normal one... Josuke stated bluntly.

"Oh yeah, I can. I have no idea where the space goes either, so don't ask me on that." Okuyasu explained. "Ah, and I can cut space between you guys and me... Like this."

He had swiped the space with The Hand and it had drew both you and Josuke over. It just caused you to worry about the fact that there was no way to counter something like that with your Stand. You could feel Okuyasu's fist bury itself into your face, landing blow after blow.

"O...Ouch..." You glared at Josuke. "You really had to ask, huh?"

Josuke smirked. "Yeah. Because he's given us a perfect chance... All we need to do is execute it, knock him out, and be able to save Koichi. It's going to be simple. We just need a battle strategy. God. From the sounds of it, it surely was risky, all considering. There was no way that the risk couldn't be made though. The pair of you only had managed to examine Koichi a bit, but not fully enough to determine what else to do for him.

What were you going to do about this new development?

[] Attack Okuyasu and The Hand while they are wide open and show them who you are made of. (+1 Josuke, +1 Koichi)
-[] Write-in how.
[] Try your best to tend to Koichi and his wounds. You can let Josuke handle fighting on his own... (+2 Koichi)
-[] Write-in how.
[] Follow Josuke's lead. Plus, teamwork makes a dream team. And it might make fighting easier. (+2 Josuke)
[] Write-in.

That has a pretty good chance of working, actually?

Also do remember that Maki's Stand has a skill set you can access. Because we're not making attacks 24/7 over here, otherwise my brain'll melt. And plus, you have to weigh both the pros and cons of the vote, too.

Reading swordbeams makes me feel like I'm reading some sort of Xianxia xD

Well, come back to a lot of votes here. Also asking a quick question everyone, when it comes to Maki's Stand stat change, when do you all think it shall be appropriate to change around the stats? It is simply out of curiosity, of course.

Maybe slowly drop Learning to B or C when we get really comfortable/understand WSS. Not sure about the others but the moment will have to be dramatic.

Sounds like a good idea~ I'll probably run along with that idea and see where it takes us.
