Well, clarification is important regardless. My firm belief is that I do understand the bases of it. However, I wish to learn more about When She Shines, as When She Shines is the majority winner here. And please do, @The Oldman, I'd greatly appreciate it and I'm sure everyone would appreciate knowing about WSS even more.

And before officially ending this vote-off, I'll say that this was quite intriguing. WSS, Sabaton, and Vibrations, our top three. WSS has uniqueness when it comes to light, and it looks like we might be the next Polnareff if those cards are played correctly, considering we do have a sword - at least how I have it in my head, maybe, maybe not, we'll see. Sabaton thematically and design wise is very, very well developed, loved the concept of how death was a major theme there, especially since this is Part 4. And Vibrations has it's really surprising canon-like efficiency that can be imagined to see in JoJo itself, with it's own abilities and ACT I and II. And plus because of that weird idea I still keep having of Maki chucking the defenseless Vibrations ACT I at Dorothy. My brain can't stop replaying that scene in my mind and it makes me chuckle each and every time. In fact, everyone's Stands did quite well, good thing we had the vote-off to fully go through them all.

Alas, we have to choose one for this Quest. However, do not fret, as future JoJo Quests I will devise will be unique that in any Stand from a previous JoJo Quest, like this one for example, can be showcased! Or maybe I might showcase them in this one, depending on if that's alright with everyone. So everyone has a chance to have their Stand to be in the spotlight!

On that note...

The votes are officially closed! The winning Stand is When She Shines! Of course, we as a collective will elaborate more into When She Shines since I will be working on the post and to get more insight about When She Shines while I am writing the next post up. I might add a few details here and there, because I am gonna make this next post pretty badass for this.

Actually rereading it again I think I understand it switches properties depending where the light is located.
Example: WSS uses A glow from the heights on a car making so half the car is cover in blue light, then it uses We all lie in her light on the sidewalk, finally it uses Dance on the bay so half the car becomes sidewalk and part of the sidewalk becomes part car.
The Oldman so is this right?

Mmmmaaaybe. While it does use a sword like Silver Chariot (and weapon-using stands are pretty rare in their own right), the type of sword is very different. Silver Chariot has a rapier, while WSS' sword has more in common with Cloud Strife's Buster Sword.

Mmm, true. Kinda forgotten that rapiers and Buster Swords are two different things. Need to go back to sharp blade school and get poked by a few swords. Maybe then I'll learn the difference! Maybe we would probably get mastery in sword like Polnareff would be the more realistic goal here. :V

The main difference is that a rapier is a light pokey sword, while WSS' sword (Imma call it the transistor sword) is a heavy choppy-slashy sword.
But yeah, WSS has good learning, we can probably turn it into a kind of melee glass cannon with some practice.

I can think of a offensive move and defensive move with WSS, for offense switch the enemy's hardness with graphite's and for defense switch our hardness with something like diamond or cement if im reading the ability right

That's how I'm reading it, but I don't think it's limited to just physical properties.

Not sure about anyone else, but WSS's power sounds a lot like Soft & Wet's power, only spread over an area instead of an object and with light instead of bubbles...unless I missed something.

*Looks at picture of the Transitor*
It reminds me of a thinner Dragonslayer more than the Buster Sword in terms of the actual blade's shape. @Shiranui I would suggest looking up the Berserk 2016 anime fight scenes or clips of Guts in Berserk Musou if you have trouble visualizing how the sword can be wielded.

Sounds like Maki will need to brush up on her geography.

I believe that @The Oldman, the one who created said Stand probably would be the best person to answer that sort of question. Because we had finished voting - it's just taking me forever to write up the post - but he'd be the one you would want to ask about that subject.

Ah, and thanks for suggestions on what to do involving the sword. I will probably look at them when I get the chance to do so once I'm not so wrapped up in writing the post. Although it looks like I'll have to post it later this morning on my end at this rate considering how my brain is going everywhere tonight.

Maki will definitely need to brush up on a lot of things. Particularly medicine. Sure, Josuke can help with patching her up, but she can't always be able to rely on him being at her side during a fight...

Well, actually I am a girl. I just enjoy using male anime avatars much more than female avatars? I might change my avatar at some point. Asides from that, I'm tirelessly working away at the post to see if I can get at least over the Stand's appearance. ...Although knowing me, that's just hard considering the theme I'm planning to go with.

It takes, like, a full minute to heal significant wounds. 60 second might as well be half an hour in JoJo seconds! :V

Do you hate him or something?
Unlike most of the Berserk 2016 anime, most of the fight scenes are palatable. The sound design is still abysmal, though.

⌈When She Shines⌋

[X] You can't do this alone. You need to awaken your Stand. Before she goes after Josuke and the others. Before anyone in Morioh gets hurt. You want to protect others with the strength you have. You will never run away again from those you can protect...!
[1] When She Shines - The name rushes into your mind, like pulsing lights on the dance floor, like the moon illuminating the starry night sky, the light that you want to embrace fully and connect everyone to your light... Everything has become clear as crystal. You are no longer alone.

As you felt Dorothy's threads yanking at the pins, slowly dragging them out of your wound, you stared directly at her, unwavering, despite the sharp pain in your left shoulder reminding you are still injured - yet you weren't focused in on that. It was her words. It angered you. No. More than that. It was a blistering rage that festered inside of you. Long had you held it back, for fear that you would be judged and labeled as that delinquent chick who loses her head over the littlest of things. Yet it was something you couldn't just hold back.

"Hey, you're making this like, scary face. You really ought to lighten up." Dorothy chided, pouting. "You ought to know better than messing with somebody like me~ Sure I attacked you first, but your mere existence is a problem! Like, honestly, you really are..."

"Shut up..."

"Hm?"

"I said shut up! You damned rabbit bitch!"

It was the first time you raised your voice like that. Your skin prickled, it felt like hands were caressing your shoulders, reassuringly so. Based on previous situations, this had never happened before. A shaky breath escaped your lips, feeling your heart pounding your rib cage to the point where you had to attempt to calm yourself. Although clearly this wasn't working. You are way too worked up now, there was no way you could come back down from the tipping point. Your head felt like as if it was tearing itself open.

Then suddenly, you noticed something.

Hands, and arms, and a body were coming out. Was it... no, it couldn't be. You weren't the only one shocked. Dorothy's mouth was agape, her eyes fixated on what appeared to be your Stand. Soft glowing of light radiated from your body, and your Stand emitted it too.

Her flowing, long wavy hair traveled behind her, iridescent purples, blues, even black. It almost was like a sea of stars. You could see that she wasn't entirely human looking though, apparently more cybernetic because you could see that they were more jointed for her body parts, seeing that her skin was a very gradient light blue to dark blue. She was similarly built to you, you realized. She had metallic side face guards with blue triangular pieces on each guard. It alarmed you at first, considering that you figured that your Stand would look different. Especially considering your Stand was wearing clothes, too. When She Shines had a dark black overcoat with large white fur lined collar and a golden diamond on the back of it. She had a skintight black bodysuit that covered her neck and extended down to show a bit of thigh and had short sleeves, with grey belts with black buckles on it, about five. It seemed that the first three were connected together, that way so the chest was kept nice and compacted, while the other two were around her pelvis. Also she had long, black finger-less gloves that stopped just past the elbows, with grayish-silver reflectors on them, one on each glove. It was odd, however, that a Stand needed knee-length lace up boots with thick soles, considering it was floating in mid-air, but you weren't the one to question.

Her massive crystal-like sword was the next thing you noticed. It shimmered with blue and green hues, and smack in the middle was a bright red crystal, reminiscent of an eye on the flat side of the blade.

"When She Shines..."

Those words slipped out of your lips in a mere daze. It seemed the Stand was responding. Smiling at you.
You had your own Stand at last. Your heart felt... lighter. Much lighter than before. It was an amazing rush of power, too. It was as if everything had cleared up once she had arrived. Having a stupid grin on your face, you cared not that your shoulder was jacked up as fuck right now, and that the pain surely would set in again. You could be useful and actually help for change. It wouldn't be like the other times before prior where you didn't have any use.

Sure, fists had their uses but it didn't stop every troubling thing that entered your life.

"That's it, I have no patience for this!" You heard Dorothy, as her stuffed bunny began to warp and change. "White Rabbit... let's show this bitch whose boss...!!"

With a deafening roar, the cute little stuffed bunny morphed into a giant, patchwork bunny that had immediately picked up Dorothy and put her on the shoulder pad of her Stand. Even though it was moving, it seemed that Dorothy would still be able to sit on there. "Remember those threads in your pins? I can make those explode, ya know. Hm. I don't remember how long I set the timer for... I kinda forgot..."

"What?! The thread's a bomb?!" You screech, as your eyes were glancing at the thread. You could hear a low hissing sound, and then you come into realization. There was no way you could realistically touch the threads- they not only are starting to burn, but some of them were embedded into your shoulder. If it exploded now... There would be no way to recover from that. If only you could remove these blasted pins and threads!

When She Shines's eyes, which you had barely registered, her black irises glimmered, with a blue aura around her blade and pressed the dull edge against the choke-hold of the pins. You didn't know what she was doing, especially since her other hand was focused on opening your bag which had been long tossed aside not too far away from you, considering that you were attempting to defend yourself. And a golden aura around your pencil, having finally noticed that there was a sparkly golden path leading up to your bag. What. What was going on. You could barely understand. Maybe you should have really asked Jotaro about these specific details instead of focusing on just awakening to it...

That's when it happened. The pins and threads in your shoulder, slowly but surely began to slip out. Your eyes were watching this unfold. Did... did When She Shine change the density of the objects...? You shook her your head. Now was not the time to question this!

You grasped the pins, careful to avoid the threads. "When She Shines, thanks for the assistance. I appreciate it!! Now with this..." You tugged away at the pins, and even though blood leaked through the opening wound, it was as almost as if you were picking up your pencil at school. "Holy shit! This is like, super light..." Then you grunted out in pain, remembering your shoulder was still fucking bleeding and dropped the pins onto the ground in front of you.

Although you should bless your lucky stars that you wore your blazer. You removed the blazer, and could see how bad the damage was. It punctured quite a bit, although you were sure if you found Josuke, he could immediately fix this. However until then, you used it a temporary bandage. However, you felt that it wouldn't help.

White Rabbit had swung it's claws at you, childishly attempting to cause you damage. It was as if it was a child in a big bunny. It didn't mean that it didn't nick your face, however, leaving a long cut across your right cheek.

"Oh that's it, bitch. You are going down..." Dorothy's hands were covered with threads, you figured that she could create these threads as well, with a high variety of colors, unfurling to strike at you this time.

You had a wide grin on your face. This was actually going to be quite fun, from what it looks like!

It was almost like an automatic mode, with When She Shines having tossed those ridiculously large pins back at Dorothy. You wondered if you could switch it off as they were going flying towards Dorothy, so you mentally switched the properties again. Despite how easy it was to throw them, it was better if it packed a bit of weight behind the attack. Unfortunately, Dorothy seemed quite adept at blocking the pins.

Except for one pin that lodged itself into White Rabbit's knee, causing the rotten Stand user to scream and clutch onto her knee in pain, as if they were both in symbiosis. Both of them must have been in pain, considering the angle and the density of the pin.

There's no turning back now. What happened next?

[] Attack Dorothy while she and White Rabbit are in pain and are distracted. Might as well take advantage of this moment of weakness... you can't afford to let Dorothy gain the upper hand over you again.
- [] Write-in how.

[] Dorothy and White Rabbit might be out of the fight just for a tiny bit.
If that's the case, you got to get your ass to Josuke to get healed.
- [] Write-in how.

[] Dorothy is stunned. Run away from the fight.
Even if you continue fighting, this is a bad place to fight. You can distract her to follow you to a more remote location. A secretive location is a best location to finish Dorothy off.
- [] Write-in how.

[] Run to a pay phone and call Morioh Grand Hotel.
Jotaro was still in the hotel, as you recall. Plus didn't Josuke said he was coming around his place later in the day? With an injured shoulder, you are unsure you can hold out in a fight. Plus it's better to have an experienced Stand user to show you the ropes.

Welp, that certainly took forever to get that one done, nearly practically the entire day, but it's here, and that's all that matters! So I hope you all enjoy. :V

So I'm a tad confused why we're verbally ordering our Stand.

Ahhhh, you're right! Scramble the jets, scramble! :V

EDIT: There we go, the jets have been scrambled, and it's been corrected.

So yeah, I think i get how WsS works now. but the question is what are the first two abilities for. Can they be used in the density exchange?

[X] Dorothy and White Rabbit might be out of the fight just for a tiny bit. If that's the case, you got to get your ass to Josuke to get healed.
- [X] Joestar Secret Family Technique (even though we are not a Joestar).

[X] Attack Dorothy while she and White Rabbit are in pain and are distracted. Might as well take advantage of this moment of weakness... you can't afford to let Dorothy gain the upper hand over you again.
-[X] When she smiles has a blade swing it at White Rabbits other knee so that she can't chase us.
-[X] Grab more pencils from your bag and Increase their density before throwing them at dorthy
-[X] Look for more stuff to change the density of.

Yuppers RYNO Ross, the two big skills are the ones that determine what you exchange for object density. Although you gotta be careful with what you exchange, I shall note. Especially considering that Maki is still injured. Even though her blazer is absorbing the blood, the wound is not bandaged up, and therefore, it effects how long the effects of the exchange last. :V

And if you do consider running, be mindful that Dorothy can and will go after you, especially considering Maki's actions against her.

Well, yeah, that's true. Joseph is a really fast runner, and he would run quite a bit. Although Maki isn't usually the type to run away from a fight, so she'll feel compelled to try and look back to see if Dorothy or White Rabbit got up because curiosity kills the cat. :V

Damnit Maki! We have to teach her the technique ASAP. Here's hoping that Jotaro bothered to learn it, or that Josuke inherited it.

To be honest, I doubt Jotaro would bother to learn the technique, hahaha. Maybe Josuke inherits it. Who knows. All you do know is that Maki loves fighting and running away from a fight usually isn't her first option, lol.

- [X] Swap her density with that of the street. Stop her in place, and sink her into that softened ground.
