True...However. Distortions are dicks most of the time, so while Carmen can work as an ally, she would still be a massive pain in the ass.

For example, something like the Eternal Persistence would be a horrifically bad ally.

Definitely. While we can trust Carmen's intentions, her methods will likely run counter to our own interests.

I was more thinking along the lines of something like:
- The Church of the Deep infiltrates another city to the point that it's essentially Seaborn territory now.
- Carmen being the bleeding heart that she is, decides to help one of the locals in her own way, and gives them the strength to fight back via Distortion.
- The Seaborn and the Distortion fight each other, and then Sieg and co./local military mop up whoever remains.

It's a messy solution, but it's probably the best we can hope for with Carmen.

... Shit, Carmen will use the fact our friends has been waiting us for that long as a way to crack sieg amd make him think twice about just appearing again, because you have been gone for so long, isn't it just better to leave them alone? You make new friends along the way. What's the matter of leaving some old ones behind for those new connections you desires.... Are you afraid of them, aren't you? You are afraid of those friends of yours not being the same one you remembered. Just give up, and I will lead you to a place that we all wanted to go, a place that we will have no worries.
Just listen to my voice...

That's entirely possible.

Making Sieg choose either one or another. But I don't think that's Carmen's game. She will definitely take advantage and try to make Sieg distort if that situation arise though.

Imagine Lech walking around Babel/Rhodes Island and then seeing the chaos happening only to be reminded of Turbulent Office.

But relying on Carmen's distortion like that is asking for trouble, the Pianist (Who was DEADASS some guy who suck at playing at the piano and snapped when a drunk outshine him) caused the death of 300,000 in an instant. So in that scenario, while a Distortion could help us escape it could also well... whip out the whole city. Lower case c city. I also think the Eternal Persistence wasn't fully form either, it was more like a shell if anything.

Edit: I fucking misspell wasn't

God, damn it.
I hate this. I hate everything about this. I just want to meet up with our buddies and start our meme office again.

It was a partial Distortion, which needed to eat Gambino before it could truly be completed.

Honestly speaking, it was a hella good thing Gambino didn't die or was nearby. Because we probably won't be able to deal with a full power E.P without either massive casualty, or just straight up not being able to deal with it at all.

: Have faith, my dear friend, Sieghart. Trust in the guidance of that sweet warm sun. She will deliver you to where you can be yourself without shame.

We get one advantage then we got 10 more problems on our plate. God....
OK, since we will definitely encounter the center of the problems on our way to find our friends, we should keep on recruiting people and make a name out of ourself.
Basically make us famous, see if they come to us, but don't stop searching for them either. We can't sit down and expect someone to show up our front door.
We should ask the emperor for some Information about our friends and their locations since he lived a long time and is a famous guy.
Also we need to Complete that EGO as soon as possible, we can't afford to lose anyone in any way.

For what it's worth. Sieg could chip in and ask the people present in the meeting.

Another thing is, we got some twofold reasoning to try and approach RI right now. One is to get rid of Fairy so Sieg can go full power mode, and another is to recruit our two top-tier sharpshooters.

While characters like Lech and Sleepy and Sieghart are all relatively serious, eventually we'll end up meeting comedic characters like Mr. H, Stock man and Max Muscular, and characters like those can instantly nullify a serious tone. We'll find them one day but it's a safe guess that they won't be involved with any plot-relevant entities like Rhodes Island.

Carmen might be chill with the Church of the Deep guys drinking their Seaborn Kool-Aid since she was chill with Eileen and her Church of Gears guys believing they're better off following their assigned purposes ("admit they're just a cogwheel") rather than try to be independent ("trying to spin alone"). So she's probably not against cults on principle.

She would be against the cultists suffering ego death, though. Church of Gears worshippers go through a lot to end up like they are, with some of them being literally turned into gears (that's what Thought-Gears are), but even when they end up like that they still have their own separate consciousnesses. (Probably. Eileen talks to them when she was introduced, but she also said that one of the Thought-Gears she was using was her dad, who got killed in her backstory).

She'd also definitely conflict with the Deathless Black Snake and its fuckery.

Originally they were locked in an interdimensional prison.

I don't think we will be seeing those guys any time soon.

Since we definitely won't stick with Rhode island because We're going on a world tour and won't stop until we find all our bodies, they won't follow us because they have their own stuff to do, We should at least make a good first impression so no fucking around and accidently break into high level security, We can't afford a bad first impression, because we have no power, no leverage and we are alone.
We need to gather our forces before we can do something or at least sit with other players at the table and not standing on the table like a piece.
We need our own faction.

Given that Sieg already somehow recruited a partial E.G.O, world-ending monster of a distortion that is Capone...

We will probably get our own faction as long as we keep choosing the [MERCY] option on all the Distortions we come across.

We can be like Mostima or the Messenger, they don't show up in Rhodes Island a lot and still do their own things/jobs. But as long as we're like helping them out on occasion, I doubt they mind lending us some kind of aid.

... That could work, We just need to report in once in a while to make it work, And when they comes over, we can welcome them and help them on stuff.
I just think they will eliminate our future ally before we can use the power of friendship on them.
Let's get a sturdy vehicle and some armor and a sword that won't break after three swings.
And we can improve the vehicle along the way, we might make a mother ship out of it just because the sheer absurdity of the turbulence office makes universe bends its knees.

Err hmm.. I feel like there's a non-zero chance Lech is working for Theresis and his court of monsters.. which would be very problematic.

TBH Capone is probably an exception rather than the rule. We're unlikely to catch a Distortion in their infancy again and after they're fully established we're unlikely to revert them. If EP had fully become a Distortion there would be nothing Sieg could do other than put him down and that would probably be the case for other Distortions as well.

Reverting a distortion is possible, But first you need to cut out the bad influence.
And since we have a voice in our head working for us and not against us. this can be done because we can just simply ask abel to disrupt Carmens influence for a few minutes.
He might fail, though.

Sudden premenition of Carmen's help ending up in Seaborn evolving to fight E.G.O. Users, Distortions and Abnormalities better.

Well I'm sure there's nothing to worry about there.
