Anyway, do we want to spill the beans about we being foreigners as well? It hardly matters at this point, and it might give us some help on finding the library folks?

Yeah. We already know RI is aware of the City.

So might as well push Sieg to be confident enough to reveal it.

Hiding it wouldn't help us at all here.

I think we should, but I also think Sieg doesn't have any proof that he really is from another world. From his perspective, its a bit of a gamble.

Maybe there's a way to get Kal'tsit to admit to knowing about the City, and have Sieg admit it then?

We can trick her into saying some information that we are sure that she do not know anything about.
For instance... lech, and the war.

Is kinda hard to come up with a way to have her say she know about the City. Since one, we don't know Lech was here or even apart of Babel, unless that was apart of a vision I missed. There's also Memento that Sieg picked up from Silence, mostly mentioning it so we don't forget about that as well.

...Why can't Sieg just go up to her and say
"Listen, I know this might sound weird, but I'm from another world, and there currently is a huge threat that also came from my world and I don't think I can handle it on my own, can you help me out?"

I mean, he's not that naive, but we can vote for him to do it anyway.

oh fine, We can just mention something off hand about the smoke war and she will pick up on it and know that we are from the city. But she would likely not do anything about it but will provide help at least.
Something like this is going to get even worse If we don't act quick and the death count is gonna get higher than the fucking smoke war

I doubt Grandma would act aloof if Sieg confessed, its just that from Sieg perspective he doesn't really have any tangible proof. You don't go to someone and claim to be from another dimension without sounding like a loon unless you have proof. Maybe if he saw his medical records he can point out his abysmally low blood originium density.

Have Abel talks in her head too or something. Or explain the abnormalities and the Distortions.

We have Capone, X, and Sieg himself here, so explaining the light to her shouldn't be too hard. Capone himself has Sieg's memories.

Nicole, and Sleepy are here too to back us up. Alongside Arabella and Wympe.

And we also have Abram's book.

I love the fact that the skepticism of our grandma cat is gonna be our make or break when theres two gods fucking around and finding out.

Even then all of that doesn't matter.

The main thing is, we just need to convince her and Doc that Adam and Carmen need to be dealt with before the shit in the fan throws even more shit around.

Not really her skepticism more Sieg's expectation of her skepticism.

Though if we don't wanna be too open about it we can unironically claim that it came to us in a dream.

I will be honest with you here.

We should probably come clean regardless of her skepticism or our expectations.

This problem we are dealing with is much bigger and more problematic than just her skepticism.

Even if she doesn't believe our other world stick, we should still inform her of the threats and our need to deal with it.

I think that, right now, we've hit a sharp limit on what even a Color Fixer can accomplish regarding stopping Carmen and the epidemic of Distortions. We need to start brining more people in on this - the Ayin clones simply aren't going to cut it, even if half of them weren't actively counter-productive.

The way I see it, we've two options - either approaching the Library, or the Company. The former are strangers we've been actively hostile with, but know more about Carmen and the Light than literally anyone else. The latter we're on good terms with, but we'd need to do a lot of explaining. Still, despite the inconvenience involved I think it's worth the effort - we simply need to start calling upon the expertise of an organization in order to handle the scale of this threat, and preferably multiple.

I'm actually semi-more curious about getting Doctor as a possible help (which I know will be included in this). If shit hit the fan and we have to like either face a large-scale threat or a semi-large scale threat, I want to see how the Doctor's tactical abilities will be handle.

And yeah, both is a good/better solution than one.

Wait, I'm sorry but I think I missed something. Why does Sieg trust the library enough to ask them for help? From his external point of view the library is a Venus flytrap of people. Yes, the people were released afterwards, but Angela said she wanted to burn their books and they still have copies of the people they freed. The only good point I think Sieg could see is how Angela didn't outright kill them and had the patience of hearing their full introduction.

On another note. Do we need to tell RI the full story of being from another world? We could just tell them that the light is like an infection and start showing more of the truth the more trust they put on us/when we prove that light isn't something we invented after smoking something.

Asking because I'm genuinely confused, I thought it was already decided Sieg would give them a half truth some chapters ago. Thanks beforehand for putting up with me.

Things changed.

Back then it was just Adam we have to deal with, which didn't seemed that bad.

But now Carmen threw a wrench in that plan in the form of TEoU, and also even more Distortions.

If all of them were like Daddy Bongie, we wouldn't worry this much. But they aren't. So we have to rewrite the approach to being secretive.

Less trust more mutual enemies. Both sides oppose Adam and Carmen and Sieg knows how strong the Library is so teaming up with them is the logical solution. They don't have to like each other they just have to come to a mutual understanding.

So as to prepare RI against these threats as fast as possible? I see...
But would Sieg just tell them like that? Sieg is already scared of being treated as a looney, couldn't he just decide to not follow the vote and cause us to lose the vote in exchange of something he wants to do? I guess it's worth trying though...

Oh... That makes much more sense...

Thanks for answering my little brained questions :V.
