We should probably go and seek out the Library. Talk to them about the whole 'spreading Distortion' thing. Plus, I want more Roland scenes.

I do wonder if there have been any E.G.O. users around other than Capone. Distortions are obviously easier what with the state of things, but there are enough notable/protagonistic people around that E.G.O. should manifest in some of them naturally. From what we've seen of the Sinners so far what you need for partial E.G.O. is mostly the ability to stand up and move on despite your flaws/any personally tragedies you went through, and there's probably a quite few Operators who meets that low bar.

Maybe Nearl? I don't know enough about her to judge, but considering she's supposed to be the main character of this event it would be appropriate.

You know...

Carmen really is taking advantage of the fact that Ayin is nowhere to be seen huh?

gigantic serpentine Sweeper
gigantic bear puppet
mutilated carcass of a man
A writing quill ran through a man's eye
Someone holds a red jewel in their hand- and crushes it
A puppet, made from the mangled corpse of a man, made to dance for the amusement of a liquid crowd. The strings that hold it up are human spines.
That's 7 distortions, 8 if we count TEoU too.

Well, Ayin is probably enjoying his time back in the City, but still.

Quite the mountain of problems just got dropped on us.

I'm pretty sure there's only four so far. They seem to fit with the description of the Interlude options we had.
That is entirely possible.

Or at least, 1/4th of him is.
Bro, I can't believe Adam somehow became a bigger pain in the ass than he is already.

Ugh.

Anyone got any idea what should we do next? There's the 'seek' out the Library method, but I feel like that's not too viable.

So... is this story just gonna be stupid grim darkness? Nothing can be done about Carmen, and she'll just keep releasing more and more horrors in the world in the name of 'freedom' or some shit?

Eeeh, not quite.

There are ways to undo the Distortion, even without Sieg's 'Students of the Same Teacher' Trait. All it takes is a little bit of empathy and a lot of digging.

Moses literally built her career off of undoing the Distortion back in the City, and while it would take time someone else could conceivably take up the same role on Terra.

Plus, from what I've heard, this isn't the first time a bunch of gods meddling on Terra got shot down.

hmm.
If we want someone to get a leash on her, we need abel to actually get a spine.
Because Ayin is not here and X is out the light, The only light Entity that can block out of the C influence somewhat is abel, but if he is not going to do anything to then we will have a big fucking problem and either he grow a spine to rebell against her, or he is going to competely useless soon enough.
Abram is still fucking sleeping and we need to wake him the *** up

...

That could be a good thing to do.

[X] Discuss with Abel what to do in order to slow down Carmen.
-[X] Suggest he and Abram work together to stop her.
-[X] Bring X into the discussion too.

Abram would actually be worse than Abel when facing Carmen really. Even then Abel isn't gonna become useless because he can't fight carmen, he still can give us insight both Lob Corp related and scientific. Something tells me that X isn't really gonna use his aptitude for science much if only to separate himself from Ayin.

Terra's the kind of place that swallow Gods whole and then spit out their half digested carcass to assert dominance over other Gods thinking about fucking around, there's no escape from finding out in Terra.

I don't think Carmen is afraid of finding out, really. The worst has kinda already come to pass for her.

But yeah, Terra isn't going to get (much) darker than it already is.

It's not City-level the-rich-literally-eat-the-poor dark, but its dark enough that people spontaneously turning into monsters isn't likely to make things too much worse.

One, Abram actually doesn't like the current Carmen so he can provide some help on that regard to help convince abel to actually do something about it since at least Abram have the courage to do something and continue to do the thing until he eventually breaked.
True those knowledge do provide help but since we have the actual fucking manager that finished the loop around now, and that one can actually fight, so Abel needs to have a new purpose in the team or he's going to be replaced by X, who is smarter, more resilient to challenges and has a fucking ALEPH under his control.
The Scars will not heal yes, but You need to wear those scars and keep moving forward or else everything is just going to fall apart.

I see several options here:

1. Go meet Kal'tsit, Amiya, and the Doc and tell 'em about the current situation with WhiteNight and Carmen. Gather support for our activities and share information.
2. Go around the city and look for the Library. Maybe they'd be open to being allies?
3. Start hunting for the Apostles.
4. Hang around RI, maybe we'll run into a familiar face?

I support doing both of these!

We should be honest, since we know for sure that these two groups of people are nice, so they'll help us out especially since the subject at hand is important to them too.

We need help to deal with Adam, because Sieg on his own currently can't be everywhere all at once.

And with Carmen, the Library's expertise would help out more here!

look, all im asking is we try to make him to actually grow a pair and pull his weight for the team
He was providing knowledge yes, but now it has been proven that it's not good enough, because other people that can do his job better than him and our enemy have the same knowledge he has.
His place in the team can be give to others that can do his job better than him now. we need something more. We need him to have a character arc and get his spine to stand up straight.

Well I'm gonna try and compile what we know of the Librarians in Terra
According to Adam the Library brought along: Philip, Pickman, Pluto, Xiao, Tanya and the other two that I don't really know the mods of. (Hell everything I know about Pickman comes from the Servant sheet in SB)
So that would make the Library forces:
Roland-???(presumably the Black Silence if you count him having the perception blocking mask as proof though that would leave one page unaccounted for)
Chesed-???
Chiyo-Philip
BongBong-Tanya(technically Adam didn't mention Tanya, I guess BongBong is just that mysterious.)
Tatyana-Pluto
Paul-Pickman
Louise-???(My vote says Xiao since she has horns and well Xiao also has horns)

hmm.
I have forgotten most of the pages, but the library has brought their a team for sure.
Wondering if the library has any Head pages now because there is a lot of the Head Reception mods on the workshop

It's extremely unlikely that the Librarians have any of the Head mods because those are mainly all combat and 0 story.

That and also. The Head mods are all overpowered.

Whenever you need to murder someone, just equip the Hard version of the Head keypages, and bam, the enemy is erased from existence.

Yeah I can see that there's too many irons in the fire for Sieg or even all of Turbulence Office to realistically handle everything on their own.

You gotta know when to ask for help, though I don't know if Sieg would trust RI right off the bat, we can ask Nicole for her opinion on the subject. She's been around long enough to weigh in favor of asking for help, I think.

Here's what I'm thinking so far

[] Plan: Let's start our own event
-[] Things have escalated too far for you or your Office to handle, you'll have to ask Rhodes Island for help.
-[] Run the situation by Nicole first if you have doubts. She's been in RI long enough to get a good feel for them.
-[] Lay as much on the table as you need to to get their help.
-[] Tell Abel to start talking to Abram and X about finding a way to stop Carmen.

Anything anyone want to add?

lmao ture.
Let's just say that those mods are Zena being a prissy bitch and coming over to beat the shit out of the library for no reason

hmm
Maybe tell abel to actually talk with them? to prove that we actually have some base about these informations and thet are not just hallucinations?
