All of the options are amazing. I am partial to the Barrow King, the last remnant of an ancient culture seems great. But Lizardmen and Old One lore also seems amazing.

Vampire skald seems best for turning what we currently have into a coherent exhibit with his knowledge of Luthor's early years here in awakening, but is not TOO far ahead of the valkyrie if we add in some lizardmen relics in the future.

And only one of the two offers Old One Lore.

Its a very dumb joke about this one very prolific 40k Art commissioner. Like a ye olde patron of the arts, he commissions a bunch of very good art that just so happens to include his OC Ultramarine Honorguard, the eponymous Black Lion.

He's not everywhere but the character pops up in a lot of good fanart and a few commissioners I've poked at have done work for him too. Thats about it.
 
Random thought for the future, if we establish a racket that is basically "give an interesting thing to the museum for safe passage" I wonder how much stuff we could get for our exhibits?

Very interesting and I'll give him at least it's not another god dammed wolf
 
Fact that Black Lion has "Authority" in Knowledge about Beasts, (most probably) means that if you give him even *smallest* part of "anything that qualifies as 'Beast'", he will give you several hours long monologue about said Beast, up to most meanigless trivia info

I am getting more and more confused about the "normal" journey of souls of dead people. Do they ever even fully leave the material plane if not forced to?

These two options, other than being damn interesting characters in their own right, are the most likely ones to answer me all of my questions on this subject in an organic matter.

Yet again, every single option sounds so interesting that it's difficult to choose. I'm voting for the ones I like the most, but I'd be happy with any of them all.
