Hugh's Perfectly Abnormal Mafia Game Where Everything Weird Happens Oh God (And We Promise It's Not Mountainous This Time)

Well I mean do we look like a normal standard to you. :V

We're clearly abnormal :V

This is satirical not meant for actual defense or interepretation. Please direct all complains to RoostAdmin@caw.net

In the interest of figuring out our next move
(AFTER we get YP, admittedly. Don't let the bird in the hand go!) I'm slightly sus of Rosen but that's just because I don't think I'm tracking his train of thought very well…

And @Nanimani is King Louis XVI, because being mayor twice apparently wasn't enough
Well damn, I didn't know about that one. How'd a bear get crowned king? That's normally a bloodline thing last I checked.
Yeah it's real. Hobo is saying 99 and Zaealix are cleared, through there DM powers
Just gonna draw attention to this, because I am curious. Anyways. Bandwagon~

So why are we voting for YP again?

*shrugs*
Nooo idea. I heard something about birds so maybe someone managed to transport swap the killer with their victim so they'd end up killing themselves? And then the action fails due to previous 'self-targeting shenanigans causing a massive headache'?
And wow that sounds like YP in One Piece doesn't it.

I am relatively sure that targeting restrictions don't apply to redirected actions, but I can't confirm that necessarily.

Why would the role be based off of birds, though?

Usually it would be a case of the mafia being immune to their own shot or something.

We also could have a doctor, bulletproof, rber, etc going on that given the setup may not even know what they did.

Please don't shoot the messenger. Personally have no idea how 99 and Zae are cleared through hobo becoming hugh, they're yet to fully explain what they were able to do by taking that role, though I'll ask. If I'm honest not sure if I trust investigative roles. So far all role announcements have been green, including the announcement from Nic confirming Nani's role, the flips however have been pink, could just be that Hobo and Nic are yet to claim roles (would being Hugh actually count for this?), but could also be that 'taking a role' overwrites our original role card for investigative powers.

So Nictis is confirming I know at least part of the role he died as (if you trust Draxy's response.)
Thank you for assisting in my experiment.

Nic's saying he didn't actually take that role, just did the announcement on Nani's role. Not sure how that effects things?

For the people who have asked me to post a defense: first, I already have. I've already said I asked to be fake-revealed as scum, because asking to be scum would be stupid. That's why the flavor of the reveal wasn't that I was scum, or was announced by someone as scum, but was that I was assumed to be scum. See my post before EOD as confirmation.

Second, I'm pretty sure the game is all the 'perfectly abnornmal town' faction, going by the lack of nk, the suspicious amount of people who suggested a factional setup d1, and the fact that scum could basically insta-win, as explored in my last point. Yes, this is me claiming membership of that faction. I've been a member of the faction from the beginning of the game, to clarify. I'm pretty sure we're not scum, as I have no idea who other members of my faction are, nor is there a faction chat. Plus, it says town in it.

Third, as people have said, the role reveals are nonsense. GM has said that vanilla is green, and we haven't seen anyone flip green yet, even though we've seen people flip 'town'.

Fourth, if I became scum, I'd have either insta-won by submitting an action to kill everybody or something, predicted that people would vote on me and planned around it by becoming a jester/whatever that role is that explodes and kills people that vote on you, or else committed a nk. I guess there's the possibility that I tried the first and it was denied, or the third and was blocked, but in that case I could just do the second option rn and screw town over. So basically, voting out scum in this game is a horrible idea.

Yeah that basically erases any hesitation I had over this lmfao

Yeah, was sus before, more sus now. If there was a hammer I'd probably use that at this stage. Like even if you are telling the truth, we can't take that risk cause it could be the only defence you could think to field as a scum member, for why you are claiming scum roles.

Can confirm that you likely cannot become an exploding imp btw so this defense is incredibly silly. I already tried and was denied. :<

Other thoughts: I still think Nani is sus for somehow figuring out the revealing thing with nothing to work off of. At the very least, I think they have some kind of extra info that I don't, which makes me think they're the most likely person to be non-town in this game.

Only if you were allowed to change your role after the fact, which, for the very reason you've stated here, is almost certainly not allowed. And if it is then this will be a short game indeed.
If this is consensus assumed to be true (for the record, I think it's wrong), using an ability unrelated to the role I was 'outed' as would clear me, right? If so, I can do that.

This is not a reason I would consider Nani sus considering that I had been attempting similar things basically since like hour 3, I just never specified a reveal action. When you get egged on by noticing that your role card is obviously incomplete or not matching public information it seems very reflexive to figure out why.

A reveal action feels ridiculously specific though. If revealing is tied to the setup, I'm sus.

However, if this is just an 'everybody can do whatever they want' game, which I'm leaning more and more towards, than you're probably right.

I'm not saying people should vote Nani. I'm just getting reads out because it looks like I might be dayvigged, and I'm busy later today.

I may have missed something, but do we actually have evidence confirming the existence of a role-lock after being selected? Or, alternatively, has anyone had an attempt to submit multiple actions within the same slot be denied?
