Hugh's Perfectly Abnormal Mafia Game Where Everything Weird Happens Oh God (And We Promise It's Not Mountainous This Time)

Pretty trusting right now all things considered, if only because of the reveal consistency when I tried specifically to create inconsistency in them. Admittedly I have pretty much no other reads at this point since the nature of the game kind of forced things toward trying to figure out what our situation is mechanically first.

If I were to assume the game was fully mechanically consistent and didn't have the crazy reveals we've seen thus far, then Nani would move to a pretty firm null since I don't think they've done anything super good or bad up to this point. Oddly enough I would also say the same about YP, since everything he's posted up to this point fits pretty well with the usual FPS.
Explain what you mean by "the usual FPS", please?
I'm not as familiar with Pyro and people just seem to be writing off a lot of what he's said as "it's typical" for him without much else which I am... Not very inclined to trust.

It's a pretty typical pattern for them to try to progress (or hinder, depending on the alignment) a solve by employing strategies that require either a lot of things to happen or go right, or just reveal a questionable amount of information that would be better off just not spoken on publicly. Most the time said plans don't go very well, and it pretty much always gets him in hot water because of it.

Okay, so it is...
Perfectly reasonable for me to not think he's a villager off of it because he doesn't really play like one.
Noted, however dissatisfactorily.

Y'all been hearing from him?
(idk what you mean by the out of game part)
As in…
Okay.
So maybe this is me reading too far into things but my understanding was you like the game-role of Painter because it's an excuse to flex your drawing abilities, which in turn suggested you were artist enough to try for that 'and the Tyrants shall fear your might' ad on SV.
But if that all is me reading too deeply then my bad.

lmao
also bc it's a joat-like role that isnt restricted to certain options

Just received confirmation, Party Host is a no-go for me. If anyone else wants to try that would be pretty cool and groovy

My attempt led to me being told I already do something similar so I was noed as well, unfortunately.

Noodle seller here! Come, visit my stand! Take your mind off this violent mess!

@OriginalName @Cyricubed @Walker GTH who's your top non-YP scumread?
Can I just shoot hugh? No? Well, if you must take all the fun out of it...

I'm still kind of thoughtful about the Wiadi/YP interaction all the way back in D1 - while it's not necessarily indicative of anything in and of itself, Wiadi's abrupt willingness to back off on it as soon as they were pushed on it is a little odd, if excusable considering D1 kills are always just vibechecks anyways. Their hopping back on it D2 after Scorbunny starts pushing for a YP vote, but recommending actions-based verification makes me blink a little; it's entirely possible that they just want to be sure before they vote anyone out, but it could also be scum trying to delay losing a member for as long as possible, while still getting credit for their elimination - and I have confidence enough in their abilities to allow for that possibility.

To address the elephant in the room: I don't exclude the possibility of YP being scum, but the modpost timing doesn't strike me as strong evidence in support of that, nor am I particularly surprised by their interest in working towards a mechanical solve a little too early in the game and getting read as suspicious for it.

Also unless it is otherwise proven (or a certain event happens), I'm assuming Nictis's death was by a wolf and their factional action is a day thing.

@Cyricubed contribute to the thread.
[X] Vote Cyricubed

The problem I'm having is finding any reasonable traction to move a vote or discussion elsewhere and a combination of having a very busy week.

I agree Nictis's death was likely the work of scum, but I wouldn't lock to a day thing is all.

GTH who's your top non-YP scumread?
Ori likely.
--Acknowledge thread has been kinda locked on YP but done nothing about it post acknowledge
--Posts give the vibe of noise without purpose(aka posting to post)
--They didn't reveal as sparticus the greatest, everyone knows that guy, who is sparticus the inimitable?
