New Good Seed and Omake Rule Updates
Good Seed and Omake Spreadsheet Rules:

Firstly, if you have questions about Good Seeds and the like please read here. If that doesn't answer your question please ping me in thread, or on Discord.

If you write a new Good Seed, or write an omake, please update the spreadsheet if you have access.

If you do not have access, please ping a collaborator (Swordomatic, Alectai, Quest, TehChron, Insane-Not-Crazy, Humbaba, ReaderOfFate, Kaboomatic, no., BungieONI) letting them know what you want and they will update the spreadsheet here. To gain access, you will need a gmail account of some kind. Throwaway emails are fine (I'm using one for the spreadsheet), but to gain access it's as simple as sending me either your email via PM, via DM in Discord, or just in Discord's #spreadsheet-requests channel.

This is mandatory. If a Good Seed does not record their omake by pinging collabs (or just requesting access and editing things themselves - this is the preferred option), I won't give out awards. If a new Good Seed is not recorded here, they won't advance. By doing this it makes the whole thing manageable for me - it's gotten pretty unwieldy!

Omake Writer Instructions:

There are four fields you need to fill out.

Omake Link, which is just a link to your first omake for the turn. This makes it easier for me to read them as I do the update - without this it's tough to know off the bat which omake were written this turn, and to properly

Requested Bonus, which is your requested bonus for your omake. You can leave it up to me if you like. You can see more info in the Good Seed infopost here.

Cultivation Aims. For those following unorthodox paths - higher than 9th Heavenstage or later than 7th Dao Pillar paths. Please put in what you are aiming for before you break through. I have left it as 'default'. If you do not edit it, I'll go with that.

Turn Notes - Do you want to do something specific? Enter a Secret Realm? Help the Clan out in some way? If you have something specific you want to accomplish on this turn, put it in turn notes so I can adjust your Fate around it.

All other fields are for QM use to record character information to properly run the flow of the game.

Hmmm, the "Stork" Bloodlines. Are those bloodlines similar to our in bestowing benefits, namely to longevity, fecundity, and luck?

If so, I wonder if intermingling a bit would be an option (unless our people generally don't marry outside the clan)? Asking them a tribute of virgins would be a bit yikes for me but having them receive a reduction of tribute if some of their people decide to join our clan through marriage could be mutually beneficial (especially at the beginning when they would have little else to offer...).

[X] The Stork Bloodline Clans

New vassals focused on economics, an area we need help in. Good cut of the land. Improves our relationship with the SPS. Doesn't require us to give up the Scorpion Road (OUR MAIN SOURCE OF INCOME) and/or risk a third Jingshen Nascent Soul. This is not so much winner winner chicken dinner as it is winner winner full chicken farm and trained chef on-staff for the rest of your life.

But that may give them enough resources for a third nassecent soul, which is game over. That's not a risk I am willing to take.
Having no buffer zone between us and them is a two-sided sword. In this gamble, we make no assurance that we won't interfere militarily. If we can mess with their mines, we can interfere with their wealth. We can work on subverting Jiao, or otherwise use Intrigue. Or try getting another Nascent Soul first.

Seems like the best option , good relations with the purity sect seems like a thing to pursue and more land we take would need investments people is another reason to not be super thrilled with more land for now.
Also wich option won the million omake words bonus ? I think easier trials right ?
Blind the thief won, so we get more stones to rebuild the clan

Blind the Thief means the bonuses for each option are double what they would have been (1.2/1.4/1.75) according to Occi on discord. So we get as much from the 60/40 split and the Stork clan as if we'd taken Jingshens 80/20 deal and easier trials. Not that I'd want to take the 80/20 deal without the power-up to Manuel for the following Nascentbowl.

I think that the clan has a number of long-term goals that require strategic planning across multiple turns.
1) Maximizing the utility of the Technique Palace. This requires diverting some of our increased revenue into an 80 Wealth repair investment.
2) Shoring up our Trial defenses. Research into accumulating mitigation of the losses such as improved medical knowledge among cultivators to cut down on injuries & casualties, incentivizing formation innovation to lean into our combat strengths, etc.
3) Securing a second nascent soul. Manuel is our major weak point and we need to plan to cover him. Identifying promising NPCs and accelerating their growth and getting good seeds into gear for protagonist tier advancement.
4) Mitigating tribulation losses. While we passed up on using our Good Fortune to ease the Heaven's displeasure, there are lesser alternatives to achieving the same end. Perhaps archival investigation to uncover old techniques and treasures. We could also lean into our access to Righteous sects to see how others have overcome similar issues or just make overcome tribulations.
5)Killing Old Cannibal and Jingshen. This is a very long term strategy but these are committed and resourceful opponents who want us exterminated and we should be ready to return the favor. Starting the grunt work of laying traps and crafting weapons will keep our bag of tricks well stocked when the gauntlet drops.

The good news is that Jingshen has historically poor power projection, while our defenses are excellent. Raiding can be a concern but it's not critical.

The meme of "Manuel can't roll well for Diplomacy" continues though--at least everyone else did even worse!

The scorpion gamble is an absolute meme, and the simple split just doesn't give enough land. Land given to vassals still represents an increase in wealth, if a smaller one, and faster land development means the income will start flowing sooner.

Wait, so does the Stork option still provide a buffer region with the same terms as Simple Split?

Am I correct that it goes:
60 to Golden Devils, 30 to Jingshen, 10 neutral buffer? And the recently taught mortals are to be left alone for 500 years (25 turns)?

Yeah, a 10% neutral buffer zone, and 30% of our gains are used to create a new vassal power (Who we'll be able to make a reasonable tax of once they're established as well). This is also the one that SPS is happiest about because it allows them to discharge an obligation at no extra cost to themselves.

My, such a contentious vote :V

With this big increase in wealth, I'm hoping to save up at least 5 wealth per turn toward the palace. On turns where we don't have any urgent purchases we can probably afford to save 10.
