Hereafter [Worm x Fate/Grand Order]

My question is why they assume that Jeanne Alter is responsible for the inversion and not Ruler Jeanne. Giving her corrupted side a chance to do good and save humanity sounds like something she would do.

Which is more likley, an unknown Heroic Spirit forcibly hijacking the summoning of her much more established and powerful Ruler aspect, or the well known Ruler pulling in her unknown Avenger side to give humanity a record of her redemption.

Remember, we're talking about Taylor's perspective here. And the rest are mages and while they aren't sociopaths like most of them, none of them are close to saints either. Do you really think a purely selfless and aultruistic act done out of compassion is something they'd think as a reason for something being done as a 1st or 2nd guess rather than something more pragmatic or more logical like things going wrong or deliberate meddling by Jalter?

Taylor never does revenge, she stops threats. She killed Alexandria to stop her from killing people she cared about, even if she was faking it.

After all Alexandria knew Skitter was Taylor Hebert, what was gonna stop her from killing Danny?
Your stuck on the idea of the compatibility being Class based, and not individual based. Could you please try not hyperfoucusing on one specific trait and acting like it is the sole definer of compatability?

Moriarty is a supervillain bc he has presentations in spade meanwhile our holmes is a recovered crack head who is half a step away to smoking cocaine again. What an uneven fight.
No wonder Moriarty could lose. Nothing can beat a crack head.

Unless Jalter is QA compatibility summon?

QA definitely wanted revenge on "daddy" Zion.
God that was plot armor at its finest, Alexandria flew high to escape her range for some reason. She should have accelerated and turned Taylor to paste before she could even react when Taylor began suffocating her.

So they'd both die?
The bugs don't stop just because Taylor.exe does.

"You've seen enough of my past," Taylor said lowly. "You know I didn't always do the right thing, even when it felt like the right thing at the time. Do I deserve to be mocked, ridiculed, and thrown out, just because I wasn't perfect?"

"Of course not!" Olga Marie gasped.

"Then why do you?"

Nice use of the armor piercing question. When did Taylor get training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy? :)

An unseen wind picked up, rushing out from the center of the room, and the glow of the magic circle turned briefly gold, then flickered into a kaleidoscope of bright, vivid colors.

"The Saint Graph is inverting?" Da Vinci squawked, bewildered. "Ruler… No, not Ruler anymore!"

As soon as I read this I was like "oh... can it be?"

"What?" she asked, voice dripping with annoyance. "What's with that look? You're my Master, aren't you?"

"That's Jeanne Alter."

It is! My first 5 star Avenger, my favorite psychopath and one of the only 2 level 90s (so far) on my main account.

I was not expecting that, and I'm really curious to see how this plays out.

It only has sense because it's Bluebeard "fantasy" to avenge himself on the French that executed him ... he is only using Jeanne as an excuse.
Which is close enough to the reasoning the in-fic characters used to finger Bluebeard as the mastermind. Except they said only a person who was denied the chance to save Jeanne would blame the French.

did you forget the part where there's an entire building full of prt employees between taylor and alexandria? alex doesn't have x-ray vision, or any other super sense, she has no way of knowing if there's someone innocent between her and taylor. the course of events was thus: alex enters the building, this time taylor has bugs approach her from behind and enter her mouth before she realises they're there, then alex coughs when the bugs enter her throat allowing more bugs in, at this point alex has closed her mouth and is trying to squish the bugs for a few seconds, but enough have entered her throat and started making webs in there before she decides to get out of range and flies out of the building and away, all this taking very little time, like 10-20 seconds or something i think if that.

sure alex could've just flown through the building at taylor and squished her, but with the civies and the short amount of time this takes, it's not exactly shocking that she decided to fly away instead, after all, miss militia was also in the room with taylor and surely she could deal with her if it was really that bad. not really plot armor, except maybe in the whole 'bugs sneaking up on alex from behind' part, everything else makes sense.

Any chance you can explain why it's funny for the uninformed?

In most legends where they both exist they're mortal enemies and redonkulously powerful. At least one of those has Tez creating the first sun, then Kuku destroying it to make the second sun (out of five).

Of course, this being the Nasuverse and Taylor being Taylor, it'd probably be more like two cats (with world-shattering power) hissing at each other till she breaks out a spray bottle.

My Aztec mythology is a little rusty and based partly off of AD&D 1st ed, some 3rd party supplement, and a bit of Wikipedia, so take it with a grain of salt.

Extra funny because Kephri connections to the sun

It manifests as an event Singularity: The Herald of Dawn vs. the False Usurper of Light.

It goes bonkers (as all events eventually do), but ends with Olga bonking them over the head with the Hume-Barrel Rayproof a bat.

EMIYA and Rits are not amused, but Rika's all for the chuuni-edgefest. Double props if Koyan and Fou are there egging them on.

Something else to consider in escalating horror.
(ORT: *exists*)
(QA: "Dats uh spoidur.")
(ORT: "Fair assessment.")
Taylor: "What the ever loving fuck just crossed into my range, and why can it see the smell of quiet terror in the way the electromagnetic radiation spectrum tastes?"
Rika: "Wut?"
Waver: "...Seconded. Wut?"
Taylor: "Yeah. Now imagine it being rammed into your brain. It isn't fun."
(QA: "I fownd uh spoidur!")
(ORT: "I'm da spoidur.")
Everybody: "AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
