"HANDS OFF MY STUFF!" Fighting the Adventurer Menace

[X] Go to the Sparking Mountain Magic Shop: From spellbooks, runes, to magical devices that anyone can use, this shop has it all.

I have heard enough griping about how vulnerable we are in face-to-face encounters to want to prepare. And we have had some demonstrations of those same concerns at this point. Getting some personal defense options would be helpful overall.

Who knows? We may be able to take a step towards magic guard animals or additional summoning options.

And it would be fun to see what the shop is like.

Fixing the house would be nice, but it will still be there tomorrow.

[X] Fix your home

Do remember that the bodyguard used to be an adventurer. And that the merchant was specifically going in to loot shit.

So what is the plan when we are already outside when we get invaded? Just walk on by? Go back to inn? Trap the entrance?
Send in a swarm of mana soldiers, one would presume. Those things are actually pretty good.

I'd still prefer to have more and better options for personal threats, but we can do decently in that case with what we have available.

[x] Exotic Imports: A place that sells exotic animals. Officially, they are meant to just be used as pets but some of them can be... aggressive.
-[x] buy a dog or a pack of them, or maybe those aggressive plants you keep hearing about that can protect a home from the undead.

Sure, you know what, I'm actually fine with at least taking a look finally.

No need to commit to buy anything yet, we'll see the prices and inventory in a separate action.

This option has a none zero chance of adorable kittens or puppies or snakes. Count me in.

And look, if there's going to be more dead bodies to deal with, we need to buy -something- to dispose of them instead of personally having to drag and bury all of them.

I see no reason why mana soldiers would be incapable of menial labour.

We should peobqbly be able to just summon some of them to deal with that.

You're keying off the 'personally' part, I'm focusing on the 'bury' part. Look, eventually bodies are going to take up space. Let's be efficient with our disposal! It also rewards our beasts for a job well done!

so, "never trust a man with a pig farm..."?
The specific one you can summon aren't.

They have very simple programming focused entirely on combat and guarding. There are other mana constructs that are smarter/specifically made to perform manual labor.
Huh. Noted.
