I think what they are saying is that the mob memories were overwritten to think that Asuna was and always had been 'Titania' - Titania had always looked like Asuna and vice versa.

Has she fought/met mobs that are associated with Titania outside of the Djinn/Solomon and Octavia?
If she came across the other Boarder Guards or those with higher levels of intelligence then yes they would either recognize her or at least say she looks familiar depending on the mob but if we are talking about Dagger dogs and other mobs of similar intelligence I don't think they would care at all.

Yes if they knew about the relationship between Titania and the various boarder guards which at this point may be kept as a high level secret or at least they will try to make sure that the knowledge doesn't spread to far(depending on who heard it and what questions were asked after words) for other reasons an example being the Tristan nobility wondering why the Fae "Queen" has abdicated her throne then that is a possibility however there is also the possibility that due to Sugou's lore retcons there might be some severe consequences to such a tactic after all look at what Octavia has done due to the fact that Asuna came up as Titania in her mind.
Also you would need more then appearance after all the Pixies mentioned that Asuna also smelled familiar as well so there may also be other markers other then appearance that we are unaware of.
Also Sheffield I can see if she had intimate knowledge and knew how to use it which she probably won't for the above reasons but why would a Rhyme Dragon try this? and if you are referring to Dunwells familiar same problem as Sheffield she would need detailed knowledge of said person and whatever objective she would need to achive
EDIT: Also out of curiosity does the shapeshifting spells in Halk also include the voice as well or just the physical appearance? cause that would be a massive tip to the various boarder guards.

That's actually pretty logical.
And would fit within both the Original Lore and Sugou's remade Lore. Since it would explain the sudden turn around of Titania's personality. From strong warrior to simpering maiden.

Can't we have a story start where Asuna (Titania) killed Oberon after overcoming mind control?

Vaer, as others have said there are a variety of "mobs" that have recognized Asuna as Titania in some way. The Pixies recognized her scent (without really understanding why.) Octavia recognized her voice and magic (sort of) based on her listening-at-a-distance. I honestly have no idea how the Djinn recognized her. The easiest solution - and the one that is probably right - is that Asuna "is" Titania to them. We don't need to read any more into that until someone tries to con one of the mobs. Given that my personal money is on it being "some magical Yggsdril-sama-sense" that has no real bearing on scent, visual, or auditory cues.. I'd pay money to see someone try.

Well they just had a giant battle less then 15km from a populated Gallian city.
And are now in the middle of discussing things about Asuna/Titania in the open with Octavia and Solomon.
So while I am willing to entertain the idea that Gallia wouldn't have had spies watching the Fae from the closest city they had to them. And that if they did those spies wouldn't have bothered to listen in on the giant light show going on.
I am going to have to remain rather skeptical that Gallia doesn't have the slightest inkling that Asuna's is someone important to the mobs at this point.
Well if it's just scent there is probably some way to fake it magically. Maybe some sort of magical perfume like the one's that Montmoracy was known to make. (Might be a good way to fool pixies overall.)
As for some magical marker that she is Asuna/Titania that would be a problem to copy if it exists. But we didn't see anything like that when Octavia looked at Asuna with her magical sight. So we can't really make a decision one way or another on it.
Well, Slypheed would do it if big sister Tabitha asked her to.
And Tabitha might ask her to do it to get unrestricted access to the Library so as to look for a cure for her mom.

I don't think Illusion spells do without an additional Wind or Water spell to alter a persons voice.
As for actual shape-shifting I don't see why it wouldn't given that is a physical change to the body. Which should include a persons vocal cords.
True, of course it could also be she was looking for that Divine Power and noticed Asuna didn't have it.
In which case all a Border Boss with that ability would notice would be that the imposter also didn't have that Divine Power.

At this point, the PTB in Gallia are ignorant of the fact that Asuna is anything but a highly respected Fae veteran and member of a new Knightly Order.
Give it 2-3 weeks for various versions of the story of what just happened (And you're right that there's no way that they'll be able to cover up that something happened at Ragdorian Lake) to spread and for any spies who pick up the various versions of the story to write up reports and send them back home, and I wouldn't put any wagers on that.

Also, as an X-Com player, it's far too close-sounding to something else for comfort.
The whole "is singular" thing is kind of the point. It's a specific word that can replace "group". The word "group" is singular, as is murder, watch, and all the other already given examples.
