So, here's my question, how did the invisible girl get past the giant robot test?

Iunno. She could've skated by on rescue points. Or she could've just tripped those robots. They looked like big dumb walking targets. They shouldn't really be a problem if you can strategize/use your quirk properly.

Although there were like four people who got in on recommendations IIRC.

Iunno.

...

Also I think I need to touch up my backstory lol

So, here's my question, how did the invisible girl get past the giant robot test?
My assumption was that the 1 point robots had weak points built into them or something so people with quirks to weak to break metal could do something to them. Iida passed to and his power is "runs fast". I mean, yeah, his kicks are probably do more damage than a normal person but kicking, like, a ton of metal at high speed is still gonna break his legs.

Also, do you think he was born with those exhaust pipes sticking out of his legs? If so, his mother has my sympathies.

It's probably safe to assume that his legs are super durable so they can withstand the force they are put under.

Also, nah, quirks typically develop when you are, like, 4 I think. IT can happen at birth, as seen by the glowing child, but there's no reason to assume that Iida was born like that.

How the fuck do you grow metal? And complex parts like pistons and gears necessary for an engine?

Quirks don't manifest until children are a few years old, though. So, yes, ouch for the mother, but like, no more than usual.
AHEM. wiki -> "Quirks are inherited genetically and typically manifest in children by the age of four, at the latest."

By the age of four. So it's more like, if you haven't manifested it by then, you're probably Quirkless. So there are people born as they are.

I mean, I'm also assuming that there are procedures in place for births in the world in case of baby Quirks making things difficult.

I mean we had the first baby that glowed, we had Present Mic who caused his parents' ears to bleed because of his quirk, iunno maybe it varies? :p

Huh, I guess you guys have a point. So then, his mother birthing him with those pipes really was exhaust-ing, then. :V

Name: 刃浩 光雄 [family name Hahiroshi, given name Mitsuo]
Alias: Vorpal
Power Base:Psychic Blade Construction
Appearance: About 181cm, blue eyes, refined, but not delicate features. Wiry build, broad shoulders, chronically barefoot, but wears vibrams or other minimal shoes in civilian. Black, wavy shoulder length hair, kept in a ponytail in my civilian ID, let loose as Vorpal.
Costume: A reinforced black wrestling singlet with a bold teardrop outline that starts at the bottom of his sternum and wraps around the back of his neck, creating a V across his front. Color changing HUD contact lenses [Transparent/Green.] Contacts will be green as Vorpal, transparent in Civ ID.
Quirk: Vorpal's Razor, I can project and/or launch blue blades of psychic energy, small and large, from any point on my skin. Smaller blades are more opaque and last longer when thrown, while larger ones are more transparent, and aren't really made for throwing. My blades take concentration, however, so distracting me somehow can get me to drop them, or worse. In my civilian ID I present my Quirk as Paper Cutter, where I can cut thin material with my fingertips.
Skills: Martial Artist (Jujitsu, Iaijutsu, Kendo,) Freeclimbing Practitioner,
Bio: I discovered my Quirk while doing some work in middle school. I was going over a handout my teacher gave me, thinking how I wanted to just cut away anything that didn't make sense, and next thing I knew I was slicing my paper with my fingertip. I've always thought that having heroes with public identities was asking for trouble if their loved ones can't defend themselves from a villain, so I hid my abilities, enrolled in secret, and found ways to hide my identity when I did use them.
Personality: I'm an absolute go-getter, always seeking to help people, which is why I enrolled in the first place, and also why I tutor and volunteer at the animal shelter in my civilian identity. My favorite personal time activity is climbing things, trees, mountains, skyscrapers... If I have the time, it will be climbed.
Updated Quirk description

So, here's my question, how did the invisible girl get past the giant robot test?

Mis-direc-tion.

Absolutely no idea. Rescue points are to niche, she definitely didn't have the power to break or subdue any of them without gadgets, and her invisibility does not, in fact, extend to others. The only conclusion we can come to is that her kung fu was better. More sensibly, she probably found some partners to team up with and get assist. Maybe she changed her own records and is one of the "Undercover" villains? Think about that.

The answer that makes the most sense is that all robots were paper mache puppets made in shop class. The training ground was their final and is actually made of super solidified gumballs.

I mean we had the first baby that glowed, we had Present Mic who caused his parents' ears to bleed because of his quirk, dunno maybe it varies? :p

Yu's mom gave birth to a fire cracker, an oil baby, and a Dark Shadow-esque technical psionic twins.

That poor woman.

For those of you who think you have you characters mostly finished, now might be a good time to start working on your final draft.
When submissions are judged we'll only be looking at the most current full sheet in your PM conversation, there are simply too many applications to read through every PM for minor notes and tweaks that were added after the last version of your sheet.
Whether it's adding and smoothing out the aforementioned or just quadruple checking for spelling and/or grammar errors, polishing your submission as much as possible can only help your chances come the time for the Final Decision.
