Name: Tomonori Kuki (Western)
Power Base: Air Bullet Projection
Appearance.
Costume:
A bodysuit with additional padding to dispense the recoil located around his arms and chest. A pair of glasses to protect his eyes.
Quirk:

  • Air Gun. By compressing air into projectiles, he's capable of sending aimed blasts strong enough to neutralize an adult man with one shot. The drawback is, however, that his body is forced to absorb the recoil, which causes internal damage. As such, the prolonged result may cause various injuries, broken bones and eventual death.
Bio:

(Undercover)

Tomonori Kuki was raised by his mother alone with occasional help from her parents. As a child, he always strived to enforce the rules set my those older than him – parents or the school. He was somewhat uptight for a child his age, as if trying to prove something.

In the middle school, he quickly became the lead disciplinarian. With his strict adherence to the rules, he wanted to become a hero and thus joined the prestigious U.A. Academy.

. Information on your public sheet Is stuff anyone could find out if they did some digging - undercover information is stuff you're doing your best to hide.

Name: Emiko Izawa
Power Base: Magick Attacks
Appearance:

(Original drawing by Shoken Narai)

Costume:
Emiko's costume is similar to this:

(Original drawing by Shoken Narai)
But without a tie.

Both of her hands are covered by the kind of glove shown in the picture and her shoes are of a similar making. The gloves and shoes allows her to fire her energy bursts from her hands and feet without ruining her own cloths (similar in a way to Ashido Mina's boots).

Quirk: Energy blasts.
Emiko is capable of generating energy in the form of either concussive bursts or slicing rays of energy. The energy leaves her body with high velocity, and thus she is unable to form a static shield with it. Her power is strictly offensive in nature, though she can use it to propel herself towards one direction or another (overall it's similar to a cross between Aoyama's and Bakugo's quirks).

The strength of her blasts can range from a punch, to a concussive blast powerful enough to flip a car to a energy beam that can demolish a house.

Despite the spectacle her quirk is, she doesn't tend to use it a lot.

Skills:
OSINT collector: Emiko is good at crossing information and figuring things out of data that is available to the public. Stuff like guessing the area a group of villains are operating from based on where they committed crimes/attacks or collecting video footage from several sources in order to have data to examine regarding their abilities.

Basically, she is very good at finding out information and reaching conclusions, so long as there is publicly available data to research.

Bio:
Emiko is a city girl that grew up idolizing heroes. When she was a child she had an accident which resulted in her injuring a classmate, something which only increased her passion at becoming a hero. She doesn't have much useful experience for this kind of work, but she is doesn't back down once she has made a decision.

Some digging will reveal that she has transferred schools after the incident and did not have a large circle of friends since then.

She seems a bit cold, but she is quite passionate once you get to know here. She is also a bit of a nerd (don't tell anyone!).

My god. What a coincidence.

just so you guys know I'm not actually kidding about me wanting to participate in this thing.

i present to you art.

Name: Nasake Nawa 情け縄 (sympathy rope)
Alias: "Pinky Promise"
Power Base: Heart Link

and thats all for now folks. I"M STILL WORKING ON THE POWER MECHANICS AND BACKSTORY. I HAVE TOO MANY THOUGHTS. AND I NEED TO CUT THEM DOWN.

I love your art and concept. Way better than mine to be perfectly honest.

So, I have a question. Does everyone's character have a useful skill? Cause mine does not.

Unless being exceedingly goodlooking counts as a skills. Cause, like, he is, appearance wise, genderbent Starfire, so basically an orange skinned deity.

Skills: (Notable skills useful to a hero. Stuff like 'Martial Artist' and 'Master Detective' rather than 'talented singer' and 'master hairdresser'. Unless, of course, your Quirk benefits from those skills. The Undercover tag can be used here as well.)
Does being stupidly attractive count as a skill?

No, wait, we are all, like, 14 I think according to the main characters age when he started the academy. I don't really know what age Japanese kids are when they start high school so I'm just going by the main character here. So, like, at least 2 years before anyone is considered attractive to anyone not our age.

Forget I asked.

Edit: Please ignore this, It was 90% a joke that everyone took surprisingly seriously.

15-16. He spent about a year working the fuck out.
Oh, okay then, 15-16 is around the right age I suppose and my character is notably an early bloomer (I wrote tall for his age in the character sheet) so I guess the question stands?

So I guess I should ask again then, does being "stupidly attractive" count as a skill?

Aoyama got into UA.

Also someone else is using it as one.

You can probably get it in there.

Probably. I mean I basically have "naturally charismatic" on my sheet and nobody complained.

Most of the characters here have useless skills, actually. The definition of skill in this context is "Notable skills useful to a hero", and I've seen plenty of stuff in sheets here that doesn't qualify for it.

As for what you should have... Try to think about some sort of thing that could be useful for your character in crime fighting/helping people if they didn't have a quirk. My character, for example, is very good at finding information online and data crossing it. So she can do some amateurish detective stuff.

No, no, I'm not trying to add in useful skills that my character doesn't already have.

I've already written my backstory, it's a good one, and i'm not changing it to make my character more powerful. He tried to develop useful hero skills and failed due to circumstances outside of his control, and adding in new useful skills would ruin that concept.

I just want my sheet to properly reflect my character. That's why I was asking about this. I imagined my character a certain way and just wanted to make sure that that was properly reflected his form.

That's all. I'm not interested in becoming any more powerful then I already am before the game even starts.

Well, if there are things your character can do then just add them (idk, add another section or just write them into the bio). The "skills" section has a pretty straightforward definition, and I don't think that stuff like being attractive fulfil that definition.

The purpose of skills is to be another tool on your character's arsenal that aren't their quirk or good old improvisation. If the detail you want to add does not count as something like that, then they can't properly be called a skill (it doesn't mean you can't add them in another part of your character sheet).

At least, that's my understanding of how sheets are supposed to be built in this RP.

May as well put up a public sheet.

Absolutely nothing untoward has been omitted from this sheet :V

Name: Yamaikami Noriko
Power Base: Death-Force Bullet Projection
Appearance:
Costume: A loose fitting ensemble that covers up nearly the entirety of her body, including a long shirt and jacket, a raised hood, a scarf around her face, and two loose hanging belts around her waist. This rather scruffy outfit does not look particularly 'heroic'.

Quirk: Rot - Noriko's rather uncanny Quirk is an Emitter-type ability that causes the flesh of animals she targets by making a gun with her fingers to slowly rot. The longer she trains her finger on her target, the worse the damage, and more than mild exposure tends to necessitate a hospital visit to remove necrotic flesh.

Skills:
Brawling: Learned the hard way, Noriko possesses a surprising ability to combat even those more physically imposing than her, using pragmatic tricks like aiming for joints, throwing sand in their eyes, or grabbing hold of a number of improvised weapons to make her hits hurt harder. She needs any edge she can get after all, being a teenage girl with a Quirk that doesn't serve to remedy the issue.

Skulking: Somehow, Noriko possesses the ability to shirk the notice of others. Perhaps it is her body language, or how she dresses, or her tendency to exist at the edges of people's field of view. Regardless, she is accomplished in the art of avoiding being consciously recognized, and uses this talent liberally in order to eavesdrop on others.

Bio:
There is nothing noteworthy about Noriko's family. Her parents are not government agents, famous heroes, undercover villains, or foreign dignitaries. Her brother is not a wanted murderer, and her younger sister has never won a Nobel prize.

They are just a normal family, like any you could find in the Tokyo metropolitan area. They may be a slightly larger family than some, or have slightly less money than most...

Or a lot less money than most.

The reason doesn't really matter, but Noriko's father was required to take out a rather large loan, and he got the money from just the wrong people. Noriko has lived on the edge of poverty for her entire life.

Even in this day and age, where superpowers have become commonplace, people haven't changed.

Her financial situation was deemed a reason to ostracize and reject her, so Noriko lived her life as an outcast. Skipping school and loitering in back alleys, getting involved with unsavory individuals. Petty crimes.

The disease of an unsatisfied youth, slowly rotting at the edges of society.

Noriko couldn't stand to spend time in her family's rundown apartment, and so she'd frequently be out and about at night, wandering aimlessly. On one of these many trips, something unusual happened. As a result, Noriko has been inspired to join U.A in hopes of becoming a Hero.
I hold that her name is more normal than most of the people in canon, while still being appropriate
