Yeah, I feel like if I tried to make my sheet longer I'd just make it worse somehow.
I mean, the only way I coul add more is putting in a few scenes of his life, but not adding more to the backstory itself.

I might try that, but as far as background goes, Takeshi's set. His motivation is that his dad is a complete hero dork, and he wants to make people happy in the same way that heros can make his dad smile.

This is one of the most heartwarming things I have ever seen and now I feel like a horrible person

Can we submit multiple sheets because I came up with two character concepts for this roll and I can't decide which one is better
I've had a one-sheet-per-player policy in place to prevent it turning into effectively infinite rerolls. The fact that you're asking about different sheets based off the same base power made me stop and think, but it wouldn't be fair to let you submit two sheets when I've already told others they aren't allowed to do that.

So, sorry, but no.

My bio is about 500 words, but I can elaborate some parts. Okay, many parts, since my bio is more about Tomonori's parents than about the boy himself

...Just for the record, you don't have to write small novels in the bio section. I appreciate when people care enough to go that far, but it's by no means a requirement.

What did you expect after posting something like this?

"Yeah some of you should really step up your game, while many of the sheets have potential and could be cool, the council has received more then twenty submissions competing for eight slots. If you're shit, and hoping to get in based on some nebulous concept like potential or whatever the fuck, try and be less shit so that potential actually has a chance to come into fruition." -Cancer Jho

Personally, I like sheets that are concise, yet be able to tell me what your character is about. I don't want to read a 10 page essay every time I review them for judging. But that doesn't mean you can just give me a handful of sentences. There's a fine line between laziness and being on the point. Although, making them fun to read is a point from me. - Waifu Jho

Personally, I do appreciate those of you who put in the time and effort to make a thorough bio. Conversely, the char-sheet equivalent of a cardboard cutout won't be getting much credit from me. - Jho Prime

You have brought it on yourself :V

I do wanna point out that length and quality ain't always the same thing.

And I'm in no way saying this because I have a short ass bio.:V

Waifu Jho literally mentioned they prefer concise sheets, though.

The thing I think that everyone here is missing is, ironically, one of the central messages Boku no Hero Academia is trying to get across. There's no singular right answer to the question "'what makes a good bio?" any more than there's singular right answer to the question "what makes a good hero?" If your character is best expressed through a lengthy bio, swell. If you find that short and snappy gets yourself across better, that's great too. Etc., etc.

Don't feel like you've gotta do anything just because other people seem to have had success doing it. It's possible that they will get in, and you will not, but I'm hesitant to believe that imitating what the person next to you is doing will make up the difference between the two sheets.

Also, I do have an exam later today, so Im going to also have to do some last minute revision for that. I might not be able to fully update my sheet until much later because of that, like a good 6 hours or so. Probably more than.

Edit: Managed to get it done surprisingly quickly, so I still have plenty of time for revision! Phew!

Name: Mitsuzuri AyakoRei
Power Base: Distance Manipulation
Appearance: Brown, straight hair pulled into a simple ponytail. Dark hazel eyes that turn white when her quirk is in effect. Rather short, she refuses to wear any kind of platform heel to make up for it. Her exercise regimen and training have kept her with a figure like you would expect of someone in a martial art.
Costume: Simple blue jumpsuit with an Emblem shaped like an eye with a stylized slash through it. Has a simple breastplate, with armored vambraces and greaves that boomerangs are attached to.
Quirk: Perspective. Can define a frame of reference, such as making a frame with her fingers, or through a window or picture frame, even on a TV screen, and manipulate distances between the objects in said frame of reference.
Skills: Practicing Jo/Stick/shortstaff fighter, Amateur photographer, Can hold her breath a REALLY long time, Knows EXACTLY where Waldo is at all times.
Skilled with Boomerangs.
Bio: At a young age, she didn't understand why she could change the photos on the walls, or move people around on the tv, she just thought it was part of the way things work. Her parents had been at the center of a Villain attack and didn't want to tell her about quirks and their users.

It wasn't until she saw a mother and her child during an attack about to get crushed under a falling car, she saw t it happening through a convenient window and moved the car aside, the flaming hunk of metal being flung aside and out of the windows frame of view. When the authorities looked into the matter later, she ended up being invited to join UA to be a hero.

Well, this is what I've got so far.

Am I trying too hard, or not hard enough?
