That falls under the 'break whatever's in your way' category; Flandre's unbalanced, not stupid. She'll kyuu when necessary, she just doesn't because it's boring; which is kinda understandable given how goddamn easy it is.

Edit: Also, I'm guessing you mean 'oppose' instead of 'propose'; otherwise I'm wondering how we even got suitors here in the first place...

... shouldn't we actually find out the terms, first?

Anyway, looking at it from their side of things this is probably a test. After the data we gave them, they'd like to know how stable we really are, and probably have some fairly heavy forces in the area in case the answer is 'not stable enough to work with'.

I want to leave this goddamed place now. And fuck them,Flandre is bored and hungry.
 
In all honesty I suppose we can try to give the bigwigs a shot at direct negotiations with us, but I really fucking doubt that'll go anywhere. At least, not anywhere that we want it to go. In which case, the tacked on "I've been playing nice so far, so don't test me" clause most of those votes have will likely come into play; meaning things going boom regardless. I guess that it has being the polite thing to do before wrecking their shit in going for it.

Frankly, if people wanted to play nice and diplomatic they should've tried to...you know, be honest and upfront with the TSAB right from the get-go. Instead the whole 'keep everything hidden' plan got pushed and when Flandre's unstable ass went...well, unstable; shit hit the fan. Granted, the fairly out of nowhere third persona asspull rankled a bit, but really it was gonna happen sooner or later.

They saw our little escapades in PMMM land, there's really no way for them to assume anything good about us; with how casually we caused chaos and mayhem in that world. As well as how unstable we are and how easy we are to trigger off, as the illusionist who pulled the fake Remilia served as a wonderful example of. At best we'll always be a rabid animal on a leash, a very short and tightly held leash at that.

Spoiler Alert: we are a centuries old amoral inhuman insane monster that happen to look exactly like a little girl. So I doubt they got our best inerest in mind.:V

We should at least see their terms before going on a murderous rampage. That said, I feel like letting Headless make the decision, so they had better be good.

Yeah, though at the time, we definitely were being influenced by 'Whoa Non-RF6 TSAB No-good, Last time we tried to be open, people went apeshit'. It's near impossible to guess what will work and what won't work, and that's on top of our unstable... unstableness. It's like we're looking at a betting table - but we don't know the odds, the risks, or the payout.

We admitted we were a magical monster to a person who hunts magical monsters, and I'm pretty sure that everyone and their grandmother knew that Mami wasn't gonna take that well. The rest of the flustercluck that was Mikitihara was due to futzing with Madoka's mom and the fallout of taking out two magical girls in front of Kyuubey as well as being an unknown from his perspective.

The TSAB, on the other hand, is a military organization that has far more reasoning and logic behind it than a teenage girl does; and who also already has a problem with obscuring information leading to shit going down hardcore.

I often ponder about Flandre. I mean is Flandre capable of killing Remila if she gets even more carried away with her"playing". And another thing, do touhou youkai have a true form besides their human girl form.
