Sounds like a good plan.

You know what would be a great thing? Now that Deis has a body, she could meet a certain Major Alex Louis Armstrong. She probably wouldn't be able to take him home with her, because I doubt he'd get along with Remilia or Flan, but I enjoy imagining her watch him flex. Complete with the little sparkles. :3

The Armstrong Family are the only manly people allowed to sparkle.
All of them sparkle. All of them are manly. Even Catherine, the adorable, naive, shrinking violet that is Olivier's youngest sibling, both sparkles and is strong enough to pick up and throw pianos.

"You know, Ilya, you shouldn't have me make all your decisions for you." She hunches her shoulders a little despite your playful tone and you squeeze her a little more tightly.

"I know, but … you're better at it than I am." You snort gently and tousle her hair.

"Hmph. Then you need more practice! But since you're leaving this one up to me, I think we should take a walk and see what's around instead of going straight back to Patchouli. Of course, we will need a guide …." You trail off meaningfully and Ilya makes a thoughtful noise of her own.

"It would help. You were thinking of asking Illyasviel?" You chuckle again.

"I was thinking of telling her that she'd be our guide for the afternoon, yes." Ilya sighs.

"Flan, she might be busy." You nod sagely and open the elevator.

"Yes, she'll be busy guiding us around town as best as she can. It's the least she can do to make up for Tatsuko."

"You can't blame her for the actions of her friends, Flan." You snort and lean forward to bring your finger over Ilya's head and down to bop her gently on the nose.

"Of course I can! I can blame her for the actions of her friends, her enemies, her family, people who are affected by her actions, and seemingly-irrelevant people who were, in fact, influenced by the presence or absence of people who were affected by those influenced by the fact that they did or did not hear about her exploits in a silly pink dress." Ilya is quiet for a moment before craning her neck to look back at you.

"I don't think it works that way. That sounds like you're cheating a little." You poke your nose into the air and make a haughty sound.

"Ilya, that's a very plebian way of thinking. I prefer to call it being right." She finally giggles before sighing, defeated.

"Well, we'll ask her before making it clear that she doesn't have a choice, okay? No guilt-tripping unless it's needed."

"Fi~ne." Ilya giggles again at your concession. You reach the classroom shortly before Taiga arrives with her students; she steps aside to speak with you.

"One class to go. How are you holding up?" Ilya smiles.

"I'm fine. I've enjoyed myself, too, and I'm glad I got the chance to come here." Taiga smiles happily, and Ilya clucks her tongue. "Oh, I almost forgot - please don't do anything special for me at the end of the day." Taiga pouts for a moment before smiling warmly and nodding.

"Alright, I won't." Ilya nods and you enter the classroom, Taiga heading to the front as you push Ilya through the aisle to the back. The last class is some kind of historical or cultural one, a very brief overview of the country during a period of extreme isolation. Soon enough, it comes to an end and the students go through the closing ceremonies and begin getting ready to leave. Ilya leans back and whispers to you in German.

"So, Flan, how did you like your first day at school?" You think about it for a moment before leaning closer to keep your voice similarly low.

"I'm not sure there are enough students and teachers to properly paint the whole school red with blood. The floors, probably, but there are a lot of walls, and people always forget about the ceiling." She turns her head to scowl at you and you shrug. "One day, when I'm explicitly an observer and therefore not strictly bound by their rules and don't have to pay much attention to the lessons? It was alright. Still nothing I need to know or anything terribly interesting." Ilya keeps giving you a look for several seconds before finally giving up and sighing.

"Well, let's see if Illyasviel is busy, okay?" You smile and push her over to the cluster of girls.

"Oh! Illyatwo and Flandere!" Fortunately for the little blonde girl, her friends drag her under before you're forced to acknowledge her presence. Illya winces before smiling nervously at Ilya.

"Ah, are you heading back already?" She seems to realize that what she just said could be interpreted a few ways and her face starts turning red, but Ilya laughs softly and shakes her head.

"Actually, we do have a little time before we have to head back. I was wondering if, perhaps, you might be able to show us around town a little?" Illya looks flustered and stammers for a moment.

"Um … um, well, I'm not sure I know any interesting places -"

"But she'd love to show you around!" You turn to see Mimi giving her friend a thumbs-up, smiling as the other three girls continue struggling with each other. Illya stares openmouthed for a few seconds before shaking her head and nodding.

"… Um, yes, if you're fine with that … then I can show you around a little." Ilya bows her head.

"Thank you, Illyasviel. We'll wait for you at the front of the building, then." You bow as well before pushing Ilya's chair up to the front of the classroom, stopping at Taiga's desk. "Thank you again, Miss Fujimura. Ah, should Flan return the elevator key to you when we get to the ground floor, or should we drop it off at the office?" Taiga blinks, momentarily confused, then looks a little nervous.

"Oh, bring it back to me, please. Wouldn't want to bother everyone at the office with little things like that!" She laughs self-consciously and you manage to suppress a resigned sigh. Given how Patchouli acted about the whole thing, you probably could have managed to visit more officially, but what's done is done, and it's not like you are at risk of getting into trouble.

"Of course, Miss Fujimura. Bye!" Ilya bows her head, as do you, and Taiga smiles and bows as you push Ilya out the door and toward the elevator. Once you're well away from the classroom and moving through the students she shakes her head and leans back, shaking her head slightly. You unlock the elevator for the last time and pull Ilya into it, brushing her hair as it descends.

"I won't be gone long," you say as you push her out of the elevator and park the chair out of the way. Ilya laughs.

"You say that like you're going out for something instead of just up a couple floors to return a key."

"And if you hear any screaming, I didn't start it." Her smile turns into a look, and you giggle and stick your tongue out before turning and hurrying away. Not a flat-out run, but still a fast jog by human standards. After all, you don't want to leave Ilya alone too long. You dart past students and turn into the stairway. Up three steps, then five, then you jump up and wrench yourself over the railing to skip the landing and land on the next set of stairs. There are too many students for you to keep running, much less to jump the railings again, but you're still able to duck through the groups without too much pushing around, and then you're up the next set of stairs and on the right floor. You trot to Taiga's room and poke your head in - the teacher is still there, but most of the students have already left - before walking in swiftly. Taiga looks up at you.

"Oh, uh - Flan-chan, wasn't it?" You nod, a little irritated by her use of your shortened name … but you don't think you ever introduced yourself to her, so that's not entirely her fault. Just mostly, for not making sure.

"The elevator key." You hold it out to her and she takes it, smiling in relief. Then she blinks and frowns at you.

"Hey, how did you get up here so quickly?" You grin and stick your tongue out at her before turning and hurrying out of the room. "Hey! No running in the halls!" She yells after you from the doorway, and you wave back before you have to slow down to weave through the students in your way. It's not like you'll ever see her again, after all. You rush down the stairs, three and four steps at a time, only slowing down when you see Ilya. You wave as if you hadn't seen her all day.

"Okay, let's go!" You giggle as you start pushing her wheelchair and she sighs.

"You really didn't need to run, Flan. I'm not going to disappear just because you don't see me for a few minutes." You pout and slow down a little.

"You don't like it when I want to be with you?" You start sniffling.

"Flan - Flan, you know I like being with you -" You slide forward and hug Ilya tightly.

"Yay!"

"Flan … oh, fine. Let's go meet up with our guide, though, okay?' You grin and giggle.

"Yep!" You continue on to the entrance of the school building, but when you see Illya, she isn't alone as you'd thought she would be.

"Miyu, are you sure you want to come with us? It's really probably not going to be very interesting." The dark-haired girl - the actually dangerous one of the pair - nods once.

"Mm. It's fine." She notices your approach and turns to look at you. Illya sees you and waves.

"Ah, there you are. Did you want to go anywhere in particular?" You keep pushing Ilya along, safe under the parasol, as she considers the question. Illya and Miyu walk along beside her.

"Hmm … well, why don't you pretend we just *poofed* into existence at the school and didn't know anything about the city. Where would you recommend going?" Illya frowns and thinks, looking around for inspiration.

"Well, there's the high school …." You scowl and Ilya looks confused. Illya blushes and shakes her head, but she doesn't come up with something else before Ilya can speak.

"What's at the high school?" Illya hangs her head for a moment before looking up and adjusting her cap.

"Eh, well, I'm not sure, really. But my older brother goes there, and …."

"And she has a crush on him!" The floating star - her Device - pops out from somewhere behind her head and floats over her shoulder.

"Ruby!" Illya grabs the Device and shakes it around, trying to keep it from saying anything else, but you're pretty sure you hear it laughing quietly. After a few seconds she stops, face still positively glowing.

"… Brother, huh? What's he like?" Ilya sounds wistful, almost sad - right, she left behind someone who was, for all intents and purposes, family ….

"Onii-chan? He's … well. And … and he's …." Illya mumbles to herself, and you're not sure if she's aware of what she is and isn't saying … but she isn't exactly disproving her Device's claim with that smile.

"So what is Mystery Brother's name?" She looks up, startled at your question and shakes herself.

"Oh, um, Emiya Shirou." You blink, unable to respond in any other fashion, but the real curiosity is Miyu. She stiffens, almost stumbling, and looks down to hide her face. How very, very strange - how does she know him? Unfortunately, Illya notices the oddness as the three of you contemplate the revelation. "Eh? Um, did I say something weird?" Ilya shakes her head.

"No, no. But we should probably stay away from there, right? Or else he'd see me, and then we'd have to explain everything all over again, and he'd probably keep asking you about me." Illya nods slowly.

"Yeah, I guess. Umm …." She starts walking. Ilya glances at you, then nods at Miyu. She noticed it, too …. You slip sideways and tap her on the shoulder, making her jump and blush when she realizes that her thoughts had frozen her so obviously. You and Ilya follow after Illya, and after a moment Miyu hurries forward, catching up to her friend.

You sit next to Ilya at the park, helping Ilya eat her ice cream as Illya and Miyu sit side by side on a low wall. Not really sure what you might consider interesting, she had defaulted to a large, sprawling shopping complex along the river - ironically, not far from the hotel you're staying at - but over the past few hours she seems to have grown more nervous rather than less. You noticed a few times she had started to sneak away, staring at one map of the city or another, but events always conspired to keep her from properly centering herself. Such a shame.

"Miyu! Where have you been?!" Ilya drops part of her treat at the shrill shout. Irritated, you turn around to see the blonde girl from last night, the counterpart to Tohsaka. She's striding toward Miyu, followed by a butler-looking-type. "You were supposed to have been a-ah!" Somehow the butler deflects your thrown rock. It wouldn't have hit her, of course, but it's still somewhat impressive. You rise from your chair and stalk toward them.

"Do be quiet, little harpy. If you must speak to the girl, do so in a manner resembling that of a human, at least, and not that of a raucous baboon screeching after a child or mate." Luvia's face darkens angrily, but either she manages to recognize you or she looks past you and sees Ilya, because she visibly fights down her irritation and calms herself. "Miyu, may I have a word with you?" The girl steels herself and walks forward to hold a whispered conversation with the blonde. You tilt your head to try and listen, but it seems that whatever her original reason for wanting Miyu, now she just wants to know what she's doing with you. Oh … she works for her? But it seems to have been taken care of ….

"Miyu? Is everything alright?" Illya gets up, worried about her friend, but they both turn to face her, and Luvia's face is masked by a cheerful expression.

"Of course, of course! However, it is starting to get late, so perhaps we should return to our homes? I am perfectly willing to provide transportation for you, Illyasviel." Illya seems a bit surprised as the blonde turns a slightly hostile expression on you and Ilya. "I am so sorry to have cut your little excursion short. Do you need directions back to wherever you're staying?" You look back at Ilya, but she just shrugs.

What do you do?

[ ] Keep Illy and Miyu for a bit longer.
- Do what?
- [ ] Luvia may, of course, come along if she wishes.

[ ] Let them go.
- Do anything in particular?

[ ] Other?

[X] Let them go.
-[X] Silently ponder if Luvia's head would look good next to Mami's.

:D (I'm only semi-joking.)

[X] Keep Illy and Miyu for a bit longer.
- [X] Let them show you the food stalls. (The one Tatsuko frequents.)

- - [X] Ask more about Shirou. Just curious.

Emiya Shirou, big brother of Fate's lollies. :):):) I am also curious how well will Luvia hold in comparison to her rival. She leads due to her offering us free ride back to the hotel.

Obviously, Miyu has to go if her employer calls. But despite the votes treating them a single unit, Illya doesn't have that excuse, so we could always try to just keep going with her alone.

A very subtle and amusing sleight, there. She really does NOT like Flan.
Well, considering that Luvia was looking for one of her workers gone AWOL (and possibly her legal ward), and the response was an angry Flan throwing a rock at her and then vehemently insulting her ... the fact that she's offering anything at all says something.

Now look what you've made me do. I've defended Luvia. I think you should buy me a new keyboard for making me do that. :p

I want to see how much it takes for someone to just snap. While a horrible idea for our cover, It's something Flandere would do.

Or, Alucard if you will.

Moderately important side-note: Re-reading through Zwei now, and I'm not sure I've come across Tatsuko's favorite food place yet, so it's possible that whatever interaction you're hoping from that won't occur.

I'm probably going to regret this vote.
I think they want to see us run into Tatsuko, not a specific place.

In the OVA Tatsuko participated in an eating challenge and because she overestimated herself, she ended in debts and landed her school friends in advertising the stall. And after they paid her debts, she did it AGAIN. Tatsuko is sort of glutton. I think it was some sort of bun?

Ah. Never seen the OVA. I'll see what I can come up with.
