Powerlevels + Touhou ?! Madness.

Besides depending on your beliefs either Yukari or Shikieiki Yamaxanadu or Remiu wins all the things forever if they wanted to. Course when you're comparing mythical figures it's 99% belief at that point.

Course Flandre is always a fun one to watch. And Kotohime.

And Mecha Pilot Cirno!
If your counting the literal G in SMT. The guy just needs to remove all definitions of concepts and bam your dead and is now going through literal hell in all your other incarnations as you had challenged the big G himself.
Edit
And we are probably aren't counting all the other people that gives a Fuck YOU! REALITY!

/inb4 BUT YUKARI MANIPULATES THE BOUNDARIES BETWEEN [x] and [y] and wins/

More seriously it's one of the those things that tbh will be near impossible to write well, so I never expect to see high end SMT vs Touhou (or even their interactions).

I think we should go for fake Remelia.

[X] There's no way for Remelia to get here without you noticing! It has to be a fake, AN ILLUSION! BREAK IT, SHATTER THIS ILLUSION!

Thoughts?

This looks like fun. This is probably also what drives us to grow tired of this world and look in another. Hmm... was One Piece a choice? Are we even strong enough to survive there?

Fuck everything.

C'mon guys what about collecting rainbow's worth of Soul Gems?

We need one for our friends! I wonder if our 'imaginary' friend would like one?

Would require a high roll to succeed, 70+ easily. Flandre is not thinking clearly, and while she might notice imperfections in any illusions (if any are present), it would take time for her to notice. In the meantime, Remilia is trying to kill her. Trying to focus on specific failure points, and/or making 'break the illusion' a subvote of a different choice, could lower the requirement. Also, Remilia could totally get there without Flandre noticing; not only is she a competent mage in her own right, she has Patchouli and Sakuya with her. Flandre would find Remilia simply appearing with no fanfare pretty easy to believe.

In addition ...

@Christyking1980 @Legionary
For both of these, Flandre doesn't know this could be an illusion. It's not something she has much experience with, and "I Roll to Disbelieve" isn't an option. If you think it's an illusion attacking Flandre, figure out a way for her to:
* Figure out it's an illusion and/or provide reasoning;
* Maintain life and sanity long enough for her to figure it out;

Rather worried about little Flan now. Wondering which is better, running away from a solid illusion that can hurt us and potentially opening us to more attacks, or just having Flan go crazy and insta gibbing everything in sight?

[X] This isn't your sister.
-[X] It can't be.
--[X] It can't be!
---[X] Break this, this WHATEVER-IT-IS, because it is NOT your sister!

This seems like it might work out well enough; it feels like a straight-up rejection of this being Remilia might be in line with how the poor girl's thinking, and it gives us a nice avenue towards just breaking it wholesale, whatever it is.

Eh, I thought Remilia liked her fanfare? At the very least a dramatic entrance from a large distance to properly inspire dread / surprise.

The question is when we got hit... the arrow maybe?

Hmm -> "You're on her, then, and you see she hasn't reacted to your attack even as you grab one arm".

Alright so how about...

[X] It... has to be an illusion! You'll knock away and hinder the fake Remelia and aim towards avoiding combat.
-[X] Use free seconds to try and find failure points and break the illusion... you won't let yourself be tricked like this!

Ooooh i get it Remilia appeared rigth after we Remembered how we asked her to try her best to hurt us, ergo on of them has the ability to bring back memories as illusions, or something along those lines.
first she appeared right after you were remembering her, second on of the girls is still missing, third the Yuokais realm allready has demonstrated illusion capabilities that even dwarf lavaetein so it must be an illusion of the yuokai or one of the witches.
[X] It... has to be an illusion! You'll crash rocks into her spears to knock em off course and hinder the fake Remelia and aim towards avoiding direct combat. You can stall with explosions! You're good at that!

She does, but when facing dangerous opponents she's not above a sneak attack.

Clarifying that Remilia is not holding Flan - she's about halfway between Flan and the stone cross, chucking spears. Roll would be lower than your first try, and a failure would result in fleeing.

"Life is full of choices. Sometimes you make the good ones, and sometimes you have to kill all the witnesses."

Gotta admit this seems fitting for this quest... too fitting perhaps!

Ah thanks. Alright then a few minor changes.

Hahaha. There's no other choice in my book :p

Voting will probably stay open until Sunday morning. If a vote requiring a roll wins, I'll roll for it when I compile votes; I will try to notify players if a vote requires a roll, as well as defaulting behavior should the roll fail. All "Break the Illusion" votes will require a roll, however; specific actions taken to disrupt any illusions or specific points of failure to look out for will modify the roll.

Didn't see this coming. I'm going to advise against the"fuck everything" vote. That might result in smashing our soul gem collection, and that could still pay off later.

Remi is a fake obviously, but while she seems strong I doubt she's the danger here. Kyubey has been busy, these brats can actually hurt us. I doubt the one that conjured up "Remi" can actually kill us with her, that's way too overpowered for a single contract. The plan is probably to trap us in an illusion and have her buddies take potshots while we're distracted.

EJ said breaking the illusion would be tricky, and while we're busy the magical moron militia will regroup. Not to mention they could trap us in this trick again after we escape the first time.

We need to fight back against this spell, and in a way we can get the caster in the crossfire. Whatever magic made her won't last after the witches are dead.

[X] Kill her - you killed her once before, after all. It should be even easier this time!
-[X] Four of a kind! Have the clones kill the weak fools for putting you through this farce!
-[X] You need to get free! Break loose and burn everything!

I need clarification - is the last part supposed to represent slipping into Losing Control?

Makes sense, even if Remi wasn't an illusion it would make sense for Flan to set everything on fire. Since she is an illusion setting everything on fire should dispel it and make Flan feel better which neatly solves the problem. This is the perfect solution after all everyone knows fire makes things better, although it's probably going to be less fire and more conceptual destruction of everyone within thirty meters.
