[X] Attempt to capture the witch's soul gem - one more for the collection!
[X] Kill it as quickly as possible - ensure that the witch can't use her strongest magic.
You aren't sure why a witch would want to move you away from your temporary den, and even less sure how you managed to enter a youkai's rift accidentally - the only other times you've gone into one, you've entered following a lesser youkai ... of course, that was only because you wouldn't have found the entrance without one. You can move through unlocked doors like those by yourself! Of course, maybe the witch didn't know you were you - you were in bat form, after all, so maybe she thought you were an ordinary animal? You shrug. It's all irrelevant now - now you're going to kill this youkai for its Grief Seed, quickly so you can force the witch to fight handicapped, and then you're going to catch the witch and take her Soul Gem from her. Hopefully it'll be a pretty color ... maybe a deep emerald green for Meiling? You wonder what Patchouli and Sakuya would want, and hope you find another pretty red one, so you and Remilia can have a matching set. Well ... assuming Remilia would want one; while she would probably like having another magic focus, you're pretty sure she's not too fond of necromancy, and this would probably count. So maybe you shouldn't get her one, and you can keep the second red one for yourself!
You look around, curious about your surroundings, and pull out Laevateinn. You decide to follow the 'path' leading 'up,' although it doesn't really seem to be going up, and there's definitely not an actual path - it's just one direction among many. You push just a little power through your gift, turning it into a torch ... and are stunned when your surroundings fail to light up at all! You knew the darkness surrounding you was magical, but you aren't sure why the flames of Laevateinn aren't burning it away. Experimentally, you push more power through it, creating a larger blade - but with still no effect. The flames are as bright as they should be, but apart from them there's no change. You frown and dismiss the flames; you don't need the light, and you actually find darkness quite comforting. But something made this darkness, and not being able to burn it away is strange. You move on, looking left and right, even spinning on occasion to check behind you, but aside from - eventually - a slight narrowing and raising of the direction you've taken, not much seems to have changed. It's all empty, like the Library if you took out all the books. You sigh, bored.
"Hey, witch! I'm going to kill the youkai first, then you, okay? How many continues have you got?" You giggle and jump a few meters into the air, then speed forward. Flight is so much faster, and in a few seconds you've reached a very tall structure; disregarding any sort of doorway, you simply fly straight up the side, and upon reaching the top, you land. You look around - to your left the structure seems to become a large face, while to the right there's a promontory of some sort with a large torch. You take a few steps toward the torch; it feels like there should be something else there, but you can't figure out what it is. You certainly don't see anything. You shrug; the youkai must be inside the structure, and you see a passage of some kind going through the throat. More importantly, however, you the witches.
One has a spiky sword, another is unarmed, a third carries a slightly curved blade. Those are the ones in front, one of the ones in the back has a bow, and the other three have staves or large wands. You look for their Soul Gems, pouting because the dark makes it harder to identify Soul Gems. You can see several places where they could have them, but you can't be positive. You wonder if they're here because they're hunting the youkai ... or if they're hunting you. Maybe there isn't a youkai here. You look over to the promontory again, but there's still nothing you can see. Still ....
You know they're coming; you don't hear them or anything, it's just the right time for them to attack. You casually swing Laevateinn, expecting to cleave through them in a single blow, and you're rocked off-balance just a bit as your gift rebounds off the unarmed girl. Of course, she goes flying back, and you're pretty sure her arms are broken, but your moment of shock is enough for her companions to land their strikes - the spiked blade enters your right eye, and it's cold but that doesn't bother you, and the curved blade tries to bind Laevateinn and disarm you, but even shocked you don't loosen your grip, and an accidental twitch sends the sword flying, disarming the witch. You turn to the girl with the cold blade, and -
You shriek in anguish as the arrow enters your left eye. It hurts. It hurtshurtshurtshurtshurts! It shouldn't hurt like this! You shriek again, and you sense the witches nearest to you stumble back, and the witch with the cold blade drops her sword, and it shatters. You can see again, sort of, but it hurts, and you see that the two nearest ones are clutching their ears, and even the ones in the back are flinching. You drop Laevateinn and rip the arrow out of your eye, but the pain doesn't fade. Even when you were weaker and fought with things that could hurt you, even when you asked Remilia to hurt you as badly as she could, it never hurt this much! You know who did this - only one of them has a bow! You step forward and backhand her, crossing the distance between you in a burst of inhuman speed, and her legs fly over the edge as her torso crashes against the stone face behind her. You're on her, then, and you see she hasn't reacted to your attack even as you grab one arm, the opposite lower-most rib, and rip her throat out with your teeth as you yank her body apart. A sparkle catches your eye, and you smash the Soul Gem. You're panting now, and you slowly turn around. You're going to kill these witches, and maybe you'll keep their Soul Gems intact. You barely register the attack.
Your head slams back into the stone, and you look down to see Remilia's spear pinning you, and as you register the pain in your limbs you see her chains digging into you, constricting your movements, and then you look up and you see her, glaring at you. Gone are the smiles, the exasperation, the sadness. Only hate and fury remains in that childish face, and it's all directed at you.
"Pathetic. Worthless. To think, I had to have something like you for a sister!" She sneering now, and the words hit you like a giant's hammer. She ... hates you? You'd be crying into her skirt right now, if you could move; as it is, tears start to run down your face as your mouth works soundlessly. This ... this can't be right? You're sure you're hearing things ... there's no way she would ever say things like that to you ... right? Your mind starts to go fuzzy, and you see her ready her spear again.
[ ] Flee - you can't beat her, not if she wants to kill you. Run!
[ ] Kill her - you killed her once before, after all. It should be even easier this time!
[ ] Lose Control. Destroy Everything. Your sister hates you. There's nothing left for you.
You can attempt a write-in that is not some variation of Fight or Flight; depending on how complicated it is, though, it may require a roll. Attempting to diplomance Remilia would have a significantly more difficult roll than, say, trying to outlast her attacks and wait for her to cool down.
