You know, Akiha is lucky

I dunno, at least with Berserker it'd be over quickly.

Huh. Well Ilya did turn out to be the point of failure here, and they found a way to strike her through Berserker....fuck if I know how they did it though. Did not see that coming.
... The benefits of having an ability that is pretty much Line-of-Sight and Speed of Sight.

Dunno what world is intended next, but maybe something that could get Satsuki okay with killing could be good. As in giving her targets she would have less issues with.

Depending on what she decides to do anyway.

There was a MtG world, wasn't there? (Ravnica maybe?)
Killing is probably necessary there and she could start with a lot of different non-human sapients.

I know jack about MtG so you would know better than me if this is a good place for that.

Still... If Satsuki is sticking around, we cannot stick around for Shiki to arrive. if there's one sure way to ensure she would change her mind and fight to stop Flandre, it's fighting him.

Lots of different people of all power levels and probably some areas where the important people don't care if someone is killed (or quite a few someones).

Edit: And with "people" I don't necessarily mean "human".

Next we might want to just go home so we see if we can convince Ilya to go with us. Scarlet Mansion with Flandre's backing is safe-ish, which was Ilya's worry when we suggested she go traveling with us.

If I'm not mistaken, going home means staying there.
(Except for the work we still have to do in the Nanoha world.)

[X] Kill Kishima.
- [X] Break him.
- [X] Then kill Tohno messily and painfully

They came here looking for a fight from the start, They cross the line first and I'm not letting them get away without consequences.

And Akiha deserve worst than a mercy kill.

I know, but she's more likely to if we suggest Gensyoko than random world hopping. So my suggestion is ask if she wants to see our home. If she says no, go visit a random world. If she says yes, take her to the Scarlet Mansion.
Would be midly annoyed to use that stick right away however, I admit... Before we use that, would be nice to grab Lutecia so we can show her around Gensokyo. Even if I know it's probably too soon to expect her to be free to do so.

Well, the thing is that Remilia said we'd have to go back to the Nanoha verse after we decided we were done traveling, to finish our work for the TSAB, anyway. So we'd see Lutecia then.

Hmmn.

Would rather not deal with the satsujinki. Or Arcueid being crazy.

Yeah okay. Think this one is now one behind the kill and torture option. Here's hoping this works out.

Going to help Ilya is something you would like to do, but with your relative lack of medical expertise and magic there isn't much you could do to help. And Ershin and Leysritt … fallen as they are, they could be dead or simply waiting a free moment to make good their escape. You glance back at the castle, but you don't hear anything; good news, in your mind - if anything permanent had happened to Ilya, you would be hearing Berserker. A free moment is something you can give Ershin and Leysritt, along with some small measure of vengeance for Ilya. You look at Kishima, see his eye, and with a quick squeeze of your hand he is no longer a problem. A shame, but without knowing his motivation he's too much of a threat while you're busy with Tohno. The explosion attracts the attention of Tohno and her attendants, and you begin moving toward them.

Tohno is the object of your focus, and you delight in the shock and fear in her face as you tear the head off an attendant. For a moment you wonder if you're going to be able to properly punish her; her left leg looks broken, her left arm twisted painfully at the elbow, face drained of blood, hair oddly ragged and torn like someone had taken dull scissors to it … she may well die before you're finished. The air warms noticeably as you approach, and as you crush another attendant's skull she looks right at you. Her final attendant tries to pull her away, but you scythe your arm across his neck, shearing through the spinal column, and Tohno's hair leaps forward, driving into your chest. Your skin starts heating up, and you look down at the twisted strands of hair going through your chest. They miss anything terribly important, however, and you grin before surging forward, darting around behind Tohno. You place one hand on her head, holding it in place, and then begin tearing her hair out, yanking clumps right out of her skull. Despite her injuries, she thrashes madly, and her leg snaps, bone projecting, as she twists and falls forward, leaving part of her scalp in your hand. Some of her hair is still active, however, and they wrap around your arms - and in a brief instant of searing pain, they shear through your arms, leaving your left arm a stump halfway down the forearm and making an intricate tracery of deep scars on your right. You stare at the fallen girl, her eyes nearly glowing as she starts laughing at your severed arm, and you throw yourself on top of her, driving your knee into her right side and shattering a rib before pushing your hand against her throat. Your wings stab her flailing arms, tearing through bicep and bone, and when she tries to kick out to lift you off you drive a foot into her stomach, maintaining your chokehold all the while.

When she starts losing strength and her eyes start fading, you release her, and she twists away, heaving blood and vomit. She tries to drag herself away from you, and you drop onto her back, driving your knees into her spine while you pull her right shoulder blade half-out of her body. She keens in pain, interrupting some unimportant babble, and you take the opportunity to lean forward and drive your fingers into the girl's eyes. She's too weak to thrash properly, but she does curl into a ball and cover her face. You wonder at her constitution - even with her body driving itself hard to escape you, it's quite amazing that she hasn't gone into shock from blood loss. And Kishima was able to survive against Berserker and attack Archer and then took a blast of magic from Deis … perhaps they aren't quite human? It might also explain why Arcueid is familiar with Tohno Shiki …. Still, she has, possibly, suffered enough, and now it's time to end her. She likely will die even if you do nothing, but that would be a peaceful death, slowly fading away from life. You force the beaten girl onto her back and pull her right arm and leg to the side before stamping on them to hold her in place. She doesn't have the strength or awareness to beg for anything - not that you would listen anyway - but she tries to pull away as you push your fingers into her side. You rip her rib cage up, tearing it partially free from her body, and you wait for a few seconds to make sure that actually killed her before finally dropping your invisibility and turning to head inside to see about Ilya. A bolt of fire streaks in front of you and you turn, wondering just how someone managed to survive - and you're immediately struck by shame when you see that it was Deis. You dart down to her and Ershin, but she waves her hands in front of your face before you can apologize.

"No, no, Flan, we can talk later, for now we have a bit of a problem. Ershin and I will be fine, but you need to - carefully! - take Leysritt and get Sella to help her. I've stabilized her as much as I can, but she's still in bad shape. She started some kind of alchemical reaction, so she's going to need someone who knows what's happening to help her. Go, Flan!" You shudder and hop to the fallen homunculus. Her eyes, almost blank at the best of times, are even less aware, and her face somehow seems paler than normal, and you gently cradle her as you rise into the air to follow the path through the castle that Berserker made. You find the hulking Servant crouched in an anteroom and lay Leysritt down on a couch. Berserker doesn't stop you from passing through the open door, and you see Sella leaning over Ilya, bandages in hand. If that's all that's needed ….

"Sella." The maid jerks around at your voice, eyes widening, and you suddenly realize that you're fairly covered in Tohno's blood. Still. "Something's wrong with Leysritt. Deis said she was doing some kind of alchemy on herself, but we don't know how to help her." Sella stares at you, frozen by indecision, and you jump forward and take the bandages from her. She nods jerkily and dashes past you, leaving you alone with Ilya. When you finally look at your friend's injuries, your wings hang limply. Her right leg only exists to just above the knee, her right arm only to the elbow. You finish wrapping her leg and make a quick check of her arm before wrapping it, too. There's no bleeding, amazingly, and the 'cut' is very clean, as if the limb past that point simply ceased to exist. Ilya seems to be asleep, probably in shock from the disruption of blood flow …. You finish bandaging her arm and brush her hair away so it's neater.

What do you do now?

[ ] Stay with Ilya until she wakes up.

[ ] Ask Sella what you should do.

[ ] Go back and help Deis and Ershin.
