Yeah but I don't recall her ever actually trying to go through with it. Been a while though, and aside the lore on the Grail itself, HF was the least interesting route for me.

The Shadow was beaten this time DIRECTLY, and she also got taste of Flandre's own darkness and power, and learned that Flandre can win, and WHAT Flandre actually is - immortal monster, Vampire, Youkai, living Legend and embodiment of pure Destruction -who so happen be little, you know, crazy. Like Babette, she was given wake up call, one rather early this time, and is terrified Flandre will come for her. She would rather die than risk a confrontation...

*Ponder*

That... doesn't exactly sound right to me. Nope. If we go that thinking, maybe she fear more the monster she can become after seeing Flandre. But I'm not sure that's it to start with.

So if Sakura hurls herself off the building as soon as she catches sight of us, can we pull a Sergeant Schlock and say she committed suicide when she saw us coming?

Probably plays role too. or loss of whatever control Zouken had over Sakura. Who knows? If she survived, Rin and Shirou can ask her. Perhaps she will even tell them ...

Or maybe she just became aware that she is becoming a unholy abomination because the shadow got beaten and doesn't want to be a danger to Shiro?

Well... It might be a quest end, but we could always take Ilya home to Gensokyo. That's.... safe-ish enough to allay a lot of her fears. And then go work off the rest of our debt to the TSAB.

So...just out of interest...what happens, if we break the moon?
In no particular order ...
* Great big explosion and attendant effects
* Darker nights
* Shorter days
* Weaker tides
* Something about rotation and/or axial tilt?
* Probably some stuff related to vampires due to being descended from Type-Moon

Of course, Flandre is incredibly unlikely to blow up the moon. She likes it, after all; she's much more likely to break Japan, or at least the big islands.

It's not an accident the mage who learned Kaleidoscope is immortal Vampire!
It ... kind of is? At least from the way the information that I've seen is presented, Zelretch was a Magician before he threw down with Brunestud, and that's when he became a vampire.

There is a way to turn human into immortal Mage but it probably needs access to something on Grail level of power. Alice Margatroid, who was once human girl lost in Makai, turned herself by using Grimoire of Alice, a wish granting book, current Alice can acquire through trial and blood.
In Touhou? Yeah, it's a matter of a couple of types of magic, and is specifically called out as being relatively easy in Gensokyo due to its level of magical advancement.

I forgot if the clones can transmit memories upon dispersal/death. If not then we can at least ask Ilya if she wants to come with us for a while.

Tethered clones can share senses directly with Flan, but the range is too short for her to leave one at the castle and go to a city. Untethered clones will share their memories if she merges with them.

Very important question: If Sakura dies, what happens to Illya? Does she become the new recepticle for all of Sakura's hijacked Servant energy?

Hey, a chance to capture her so Ilya can use her for a wish!

In Which a Girl Falls Off a Building
[X] Keep watching.

Emiya gestures wildly, almost desperately, and Rider's Master curls in on herself, shying away from him. The Servants' fight continues to rage along the far edge of the roof, with Rider occasionally dropping off the edge of the roof to run along the side. Saber keeps pace with her, the shorter distance she needs to travel balancing her slower speed.

"Aah! Damnit … Illyasviel, can you tell what they're saying?" You sit at the table as Tohsaka complains, and Satsuki moves to stand behind you.

"No. If I were using a proper familiar to do this it wouldn't be a problem, but I can't do that this way."

"What? Why not?" Ilya's shoulders tighten minutely, either in concentration or in irritation.

"Oh, be quiet, Tohsaka. I can't hear anything with all your squawking." She turns to stare incredulously at you, and you gaze levelly at her until she swallows and shakes herself. But she shuts up. While it might be interesting or useful to know what's being said, in all likelihood it's not going to be particularly helpful - Emiya is a young boy, apparently trying to talk an equally young girl from jumping off a building. He's probably reminding her of all the good things in life and how things will get better. Which sounds nice, but he's too inexperienced and ignorant to really know the truth … of course, so is Rider's Master. You take a closer look at the girl - it's hard to tell because of the dim lighting and poor angle, but it almost looks like she has blood on her feet and hands. Coupled with her worn appearance … maybe she tried killing herself earlier and was stopped, but managed to get up here where it would be more difficult?

Rider attempts to push Saber back before dropping down below the roof level and running toward the side of the building opposite her Master. Saber moves to keep her in engagement range, almost taking a dagger to the chest when her opponent leaps straight up in front of her. The invisible blade deflects the wild attack, however, and Rider responds by pushing off of Saber, launching herself toward the corner of the hospital she had just come from and knocking Saber off-balance. Then she throws her dagger, not at Saber or at Emiya, but at her own Master. Saber is able to intercept the attack, catching the chain with her sword before the dagger can pierce the girl's head, but she doesn't retaliate immediately when Rider yanks her weapon back. Emiya starts to run toward Rider's Master, but the girl flinches, cowering, and finally climbs onto the lip that prevents accidental falls.

"That … why would Rider try to kill her own Master?" You roll your eyes at Tohsaka's question.

"The Master is trying to kill herself, right? Can she not command her Servant to kill her?" Tohsaka looks down and covers the back of her right hand before forcing herself to continue watching just in time to see Rider's Master fall back. Emiya rushes to the side of the roof - much too slow - and Saber moves as well, perhaps preparing to leap down to catch her. Rider makes another attack, however, flinging her dagger at Emiya as the boy slumps in defeat, and Saber is forced to pull back to interpose herself. Both Servants charge, but even Saber's superior skill is unable to defeat Rider - the long-haired Servant's blows rock her opponent and knock her off-balance. Emiya turns to face the Servants, looking almost like he's about to intervene, and Rider leaps back. Saber dashes forward to attack, ignoring the chain entangling her blade and thrusting at Rider's stomach. Rider takes the hit and steps forward, startling Saber long enough to grab her by shoulder and hip and throw her off the roof, away from Emiya. The boy looks around for a weapon, standing defiant against the wounded Servant, but before he can grab anything she bounds toward him and picks him up. Quickly settling him into a position where he won't be too disruptive, she turns and leaps away from the hospital, carrying him away with her … west and south? Toward the Matou and Tohsaka homes, toward the school … toward the temple.

"Follow her, Illyasviel! See where she's taking Emiya-kun!" Tohsaka steps closer to the image, hands shaking helplessly.

"No."

"What?! You -!" She spins around to face you, snarling, and raises her left hand, pointing it at you. The arm begins glowing even through her long red sleeve, and somehow she's holding two small gems in her right hand. "You monster!" You raise an eyebrow at her and chuckle.

"Is that little toss going to kill Saber? If Rider wished to kill Emiya, why carry him off? Ilya, would you mind examining Rider's Master?" Tohsaka's face pales with fury, but after a moment Ilya nods silently and the view spirals slowly toward where the girl should have landed. You give Tohsaka one last glance before hopping off the chair and walking past her to study Ilya's projected image. "You might want to stop threatening me, Tohsaka. You can only increase the penalty against you." Besides, even if by some chance she managed to kill you without killing herself, Satsuki and Deis are right there, and Deis has expressed the desire to kill Tohsaka before. Hmm … maybe that's not the best solution, though.

"Whatever stupid penalty game you're playing only matters if we're still allies! And if Saku- …." She trails off, either shocked by the sight of the girl's body or coming to the same conclusion you did. Sakura may have thrown herself off a building in an attempt at suicide, but why would she do that? Maybe the shadow-thing is trying to take over. In any case, her corpse is suitably messy, but it looks like she hit feet first, because her head and upper chest are more intact. Some people are starting to gather around, but no one is close to the body, so you have a clear view when the body twitches, then spasms, and finally wrenches itself up and throws its head back in laughter. The ground beneath her becomes a pool of black shadows, and tentacles lash out to wrap themselves around the bystanders and pull them into the pool as Rider's Master rises to her feet, still laughing.

"Haa~ I don't suppose you can call that organization and see if they have a Hakurei Shrine Maiden on hand, can you?"

"Saber …." You look up at Ilya's plea to see Saber standing at the far end of the street from Rider's Master. She seems to point her sword at the shadow-drunk girl, and says something before settling into a fighting stance despite the great distance. "Saber, no …." You frown at Ilya, but your attention returns to Saber when something bursts in her hands and an invisible explosion sweeps away everything near her. Her sword is revealed now, a brightly-shining blade with blue and gold decoration, and it begins to glow with a golden light as she raises it above her head. Rider's Master doesn't seem to react, but even as Saber steps forward and swings her sword down, sending a brilliant beam of light at her opponent, more shadowy tentacles surge toward her. Some are caught in her attack, but most reach her and wrap themselves around her legs, arms, body, and head, and pull her into the growing pool of shadow. Perhaps she blocked part of the attack, or maybe Saber didn't attack with all the power she could have used, but Rider's Master isn't dead. The golden light tore apart her right side, but she heals even as you watch and she laughs once again. Then she sees something - and seems to look right at you. Ilya cries out fearfully and backs away even as she dismisses the image, and you dart forward to catch her when she trips.

Under the circumstances, you should probably hold off on that cooking lesson.

What do you do?

[ ] Maybe you should look for Emiya?

[ ] Contact Arcueid and see if she's willing to help now?

[ ] Have Tohsaka try to contact someone from that organization again.

[ ] Ask Ilya who the lady with the invisible sword that shoots lasers is.

[ ] Other?

[X ] Maybe you should look for Emiya?

If nothing else he's going to be useful against Blackened Saber and Dark Sakura.

Or meta wise, Jeweled Sword construction

-[X] Have Tohsaka try to contact someone from that organization again.

Welp, Dark Sakura is a thing now. Hopefully it's a thing Arcueid and the local mages can't ignore anymore.
