Other than spite towards Sakura or affection towards Illya there's no real reason for Flandre to try to prevent the grail from being filled. Arcueid's threat appears to be nothing major in Flandre's eyes and would not really do much to impact her decision making process.

Flandre at least suspects that Arcueid is as strong as Yukari. Flandre came her to have fun not to fight someone ridiculously strong to death. And we fought someone like her, Alduin the Black Dragon - and ended badly wounded. Flandre is mad, not dumb.

[x] Explain the situation and go to the Grail Cavern in the morning. But DEFINITELY DO NOT SULK at the mansion for now.
- [x] Bring Ilya along if she wants to come. And see if she'd like to come along after all this is done for ADVENTURES in OTHER WORLDS.
- [x] Go for plan: Distract Sakura, using Emiya as bait while the mages try to dismantle the grail.

Eh. All this means is that we need to deal with the grail, wrap everything up, and GTFO before Arcueid shows up.

Then pop one of the rods, grab our friends and flip her off as we vanish into the aether.

Did Arcueid or Zelretch (because this sounds like his idea) neutralised the strongest fighter Illya and Tohsaka have against the Shadow? We are forbidden to fight, destroy the Grail, even fight other corrupted Servants still alive. I think we should just start preparations to leave this place with whoever would want to come with us (Deis and our new Dead Apostle). We can persuade Illya to come with us and abandon the war - there is no point to fight in it now. She has nothing to gain after all ...
...actually no, she just indirectly told us the two places the Shadow will be fighting next. Because Sakura will be attacking the Einzbern mansion next with the Shadow, and she's at the Grail Cavern herself. If Flan is fighting anywhere else she's randomly killing dudes. She ALSO indirectly told us that the Emiya place is safe(because Sakura won't attack Shirou), but that Flan wouldn't stand for it.

But she's not allowed to actually TELL us that so she just banned us from fighting at any other location instead.

[X] Explain the situation, you think the Shadow will attack the Einzbern Mansion next, since it's the last mage workshop left in the city, and Sakura herself will be in the Grail Cavern with the core of the Shadow.
-[X] Suggest that you go retrieve Sella and Liz, then take the fight to the Grail Cavern itself with everyone. Considering what the Shadow did to Caster and Tohsaka's workshops, you doubt a defense is going to hold for long, so you might as well go on the attack before it gets any stronger.
-[X] Or you could have everyone gather at Emiya's for tonight, since for some reason Arcruied seemed to think that it would not be fighting you there. Does Sakura have some attachment to the place? But if the Shadow does attack you there, the neighbors are all going to die, messily.

Not forbidden to fight - forbidden to do anything and get caught. And fighting at Ilya's castle or in the Grail Cavern is allowed, although the latter has the potential to get Flan in trouble because it's under the temple and sufficient damage can cause disturbances that will get noticed.

- - - [ ] Should Illya still refuse to come with you, go to London and wreak large havoc publicly there, threw small temper tantrum. Leave the dimension immediately afterwards ...
Not sure why London is getting singled out - Flan has no reason to go there, IIRC.

The two bolded are pretty similar in Flan's eyes, to be honest.

? Einzbern Castle is safe because it's not inside Fuyuki City. Grail Cavern didn't get covered mainly because Arcueid doesn't know about it.

One way or another, we maybe want to run and grab the maids and Sacchin.

It'd be a shame if we forgot Sacchin.

(Isn't it sad, Sacchin?)

[X] Explain the situation and tell Illya you are leaving Japan and will soon leave the dimension altogether.
- [X] Ask Illya to come with us. Offer your help to raid err investigate the Einzberns Castle.
- - [X] Sulk if she refuses. Point out she doesn't owe anyone anything. She can on the other hand seek way to live longer, even forever with Deis's and yours help.

We can't forget about our minion.
Might also add:

-[ ] Or you could ask Ilya if she just wants to leave, forget about this dumb war and go on interdimensional adventures. Between everyone, you're sure you could fix that pesky 'dying in a year' thing and keep Berserker around.

So...if we crush Arcueid, will there be anything of the city left?

At least we would finally get the respect (and fear) we deserve.

I'm going to assume this is a typo of Misaki Town and not Acrueid telling us to avoid unrelated cities in alternate dimensions. I mean, she could be doing that but it would be strangely specific to focus on the PMMM-verse and not anywhere else we've messed with.
It was a typo, yes; it's been fixed. Thanks for catching it.

Flandre is adorably and refreshing hardheaded and stubborn to the point of being a hazard to her and those around her, which I like and find to be a great way of characterization.
Strong people can still be stupid and effective, and that's not a bad thing.
That's a big part of the appeal of this quest for me personally. A lot of the actions taken so far are obviously not the most efficient or the most effective but capture a lot of character. If Flandre was making the objectively best decisions she could at every moment it would quickly turn into a boring quest with too much eye crushing.

Gonna be honest. I'm not really seeing how this Aruceid sending Flan a coded message. First because Aruceid really hasn't got much reasons to like Flan, in fact Flan stomped on Aruceid's berserk button by offering to visit Shiki.

For starters, who is bribing Arcueid in this case? I'm honestly not sure, not familiar with Tsukihime. If I had to guess I'd say Akiha but it still doesn't feel like it fits.

Arcueid said anywhere in the city, and in the temple. So basically any civilian area. That's...not exactly cutting out sections of the city where Sakura might be. Don't think Arcueid even has a way to divine this information.

Also, depending on how Depletion Garden interfaces with the Grail, Satsuki can quite possibly drain the Grail safely. For as long as she can keep it up. Depends on whether the Grail/Sakura gets protected by the same shenanigans that keep Servants fine.

But while people keep their own prana, I think, they lose access to external sources of prana. That was the WOG here right?

So, Sakura's big gimmick is that she has endless prank and can refill and brute force her way through. Inside Depletion Garden, this cannot be accomplish, and Sakura could be killed quite easily. Or perhaps fixed if we had some way to do it quickly. Which I don't think we do.

Au contraire. We have Archer.

That means we have a version of Emiya who might know how to trace Rule Breaker.

You see where I'm goin' with this?

Arc's motives are simple. Shiki is a bloody Hero of Justice, and will put himself in danger if he hears of things, so she advised us not to do anything that might get her boyfriend involved.

And yes, Depletion Garden is nearly a hard counter...but nobody knows it.

That still hasn't answered the question of who 'she' is, and who gave Arc this idea. Also that motive is easily solved by just killing us, not helping us.

Hmm ... not sure if Flan has enough information to figure out that Sakura is going to be in the Grail Cavern, physically - as far as anyone knows right now, she's still in the hospital. Really not sure where the idea that Arc is suggesting that Emiya's place is safe comes from, but Flan could come up with the idea herself (and the most logical counter to that, based on the Shadow's observed activities). I would rather that votes not be split just because of this; the broad strokes of the plan are sound and something Flan would come up with. I'm simply pointing out where there might be noticeable divergences in the update compared to the plan in case anyone wants to explain the logic.
